Ava's POV
I looked away from them and looked back at the tailor with whom I was having a nice conversation. But suddenly, something happened that caught my attention.
“Oh, my goodness!” I voiced out in a low tone, and then the tailor glanced at me, looking a little concerned.
“What's wrong?” She asked me, wondering if I was okay.
“Uhm… I think I just got to that time of the month.” I whispered to her.
“That time of the month?” She repeated with her eyeballs drifting left and right while she looked down at the table.
It seems it hasn't occurred to her what exactly I'm talking about. Then she finally looked up at me, and her eyes widened.
“Oh! I understand what you mean now. You mean you just started your menstruation tonight.”
“Yes.” I nodded.
“Oh, my goodness. You're not on pads?”
“No. I've not kept track ever since I came here. It was difficult to do that.” I replied to her and sighed.
“So, what do we do now?” She asked, looking like she was thinking about a series of suggestions.
“I just need to get a pad, and I'll be able to wash up while everyone is out eating dinner and doing some whatever.” I said to her.
“Okay, I could help you get the pad. But it's going to be a little difficult because there are no girls' schools that are very near this place. Do you think you can wait until I manage to get one?” The tailor spoke, and I nodded.
To wait was better than having no hope of where to get a pad.
“You don't have to worry about the money; I'll get it for you for free.” The tailor offered her help.
I felt so grateful and touched in my heart, but before I could say any words, I felt a presence around me.
“What are you helping him with that he doesn't need to pay for?” Jay suddenly asked, and Jay and Joey surrounded me.
My heart skipped a beat as I became scared of the outcome of this. They didn't hear what exactly we were talking about, but I had to look for the perfect lie to give them that would make them not think twice about the situation.
“I hope you're not trying to hit it off with the tailor,” Joey uttered and folded his arms.
I frowned and rose to my feet abruptly. It was irritating for them to have said that because we were both females, but that wasn't their fault as they didn't know that. But then, that was my cue to leave this place without being suspected.
“How could you say that!” I voiced out coldly and walked away from them.
While walking away, I was hoping that my blood had not found its way to my clothes and stained them, or it would not only attract the attention of the triplets but also the attention of everyone around there.
“Moon goddess, please save me from this embarrassment that could come.” I pleaded under my breath.
As soon as I got to the dorm, I checked my clothes and noticed that they weren't stained yet, but I was already becoming irritated and uncomfortable as the blood wet my panties.
I began to pace around, managing to stay calm while waiting for the tailor to get me what I needed. Most importantly, I hoped that the triplets wouldn't decide to come to the dorm and make things more uncomfortable for me.
After waiting for what seemed like half an hour, I heard a knock on my door. My heart almost jumped out of my chest as I wondered who it could be.
By now, the blood was already trickling down to my legs.
“Who... who is it?” I asked in a low tone, and in anxiousness.
“It's me, Jack. I've got your sanitary pads with me.” He informed me, and a wave of relief washed down my chest.
“Oh! I'm coming.” I responded and opened the door.
“She explained it all to me.”
“Oh, thank you so much. Thank her on my behalf as well.”
“Yeah, sure. Alright, quickly do what you have to before people start thinking of taking a shower. You're lucky this is the boys’ dorm. Most of them get too lazy to have a shower in the evening.”
“Yeah, that's true. Anyway, thanks. I'll leave now.” I said to him.
As soon as he left the room, I immediately took out the pad I needed and fixed it on my panties, then wrapped it in a little bag before I headed out of the room.
I hurried down the hallway leading to the bathroom, and on getting there, I looked around to be certain that I was the only one who was in the bathroom.
When I was sure of that, I hurried towards a secluded place in the bathroom and put down all the things I needed to clean myself up.

“Oh, thank goodness. I feel much better now.” I uttered with relief as I stepped out of the bathroom.
So many times, a few guys passed by, and my heart either jumped or skipped a beat as I thought they were going to come in. But fortunately, none of them did.
I went back to the room and dropped the necessary things which I was still going to use again, and as soon as I did all that, I felt much better and walked out of my room.
I headed to the rooftop instead and leaned on the rails as I watched everyone from up there. It was nice, as students here didn't really see the rooftop as a nice place to hang out or meditate. So, it makes me feel nice and cool.
“Ahh. That was a close call. Thanks to the tailor, I was able to keep my secret; if not, by now, the school authorities would have prepared my papers to leave the school, never to return.
I smiled and looked at the stars, happy that my burden regarding my secret was gradually decreasing.
