63. ANGEL

I clung to Nate’s hand as we hurried towards the castle.

The gates slammed closed behind us, once again cutting us off from the town’s people. An argument had broken out while we were entering the courtyard.

That must have been what Prince Maurice meant when he said things were about to get interesting.

Mason’s fingers dug into my hip slightly as we followed Lucas.

Prince Maurice was walking next to him, strangely silent. It would be so easy to forget his presence if he continued to remain silent.

He was an interesting man and if my theory was correct, maybe he could help us fix everything before more people got hurt.

Lucas led the way to his office. He opened the door and waited for all of us to enter before he closed it firmly behind us.

Nate squeezed my hand and let go.

Mason, however, led me over to the couch and pulled me down on his lap.

“What is this theory?” Prince Maurice walked over to the window and leaned back against the wall next to it, one ankle crossed over the other and arms folded over his chest.

He looked relaxed, but his eyes betrayed him.

“This realm was created with magic.” I paused. “What if there’s something wrong with the magic that created the realm and that’s why the portals are suddenly appearing.”

Silence.

I licked my lips, suddenly feeling nervous.

“The portal I came through was like a black hole. It was cold and dark. There wasn’t anything else around or anyone there, but the other portal…” I trailed off when I realized that they were all staring at me.

Lucas cleared his throat and slowly straightened from where he had been sitting behind his desk. Walking over to the shelf, he traced the spines of the books until he pulled one out. He walked back to the desk and placed it down before he opened it.

Curiosity had me climbing off Mason’s lap and making my way over to Lucas.

I stared down and the pages and frowned. It was written in a different language. Most of the books in the library were written in English, but this language was unfamiliar. It was like something I had never seen.

“This book was written by one of the witches who participated in the ritual to create our realm,” Lucas said softly. “Everything used, who helped them, it’s all in here.”

“What language is it?” I asked him.

“I’m not sure what they call it,” he muttered. “This should have all the information we need.”

I frowned down at the book. “Can you read it?”

“Some of it.”

Turning, I searched the room until I located Nate. I walked over to him and smiled when he instantly pulled me against his chest.

He had covered his mark with a bandage, so the clothes didn’t irritate it too much. It ached, but not badly. Lowering his head, he pressed his forehead to mine and searched my eyes.

“How are you feeling?” he asked.

“Fine.”

Nate raised an eyebrow.

Letting out a sigh, I pressed my body closer to his and buried my face against the crook of his neck. I sucked in a breath and bit back a whimper when his scent filled my nostrils, and I was suddenly hit with a wave of need that made my knees weaken.

Nate’s hold tightened and his chest vibrated when he made a sound at the back of his throat.

I tilted my head slightly and pressed my lips to his skin. My tongue flicked out to taste his skin, making him shiver.

Someone cleared their throat.

“I will look into what your mate said,” Prince Maurice said softly. “Do what you can from your side. I’ll be in touch.”

I pulled away from Nate and turned to look at him.

His eyes were already locked on me. Prince Maurice smiled at me and then bowed low. “It was nice seeing you again, Angel. I’m sure we will be seeing each other again very soon.” His smile had turned secretive.

“I’ll walk you out,” Mason said, following closely behind him.

Colour flooded my cheeks when I realized that Lucas was staring at me.

“S-sorry,” I apologized.

He shook his head and gestured for me to come closer.

Nate pressed his hand to the small of my back and urged me forward.

When I was within Lucas’s reach, he straightened and gripped the back of my neck to jerk me against his body. His head lowered and my lips parted, ready for his kiss.

My body heated as his tongue slipped into my mouth. I wanted him. I needed him. It has already been too long since he last touched me.

Wrapping my arms around his neck, I arched my body against his, trying my best to get closer, but Lucas pushed me back slightly. Breaking the kiss, I frowned at him, but my frown cleared when he started unbuttoning my coat.

I helped him pull it off and then reached for his clothes, but Lucas gripped my wrist to stop me.

Nate stopped behind me and gripped the hem of my shirt.

My stomach clenched in anticipation when he pulled it up and over my head. It was dropped onto the desk with my jacket. The undershirt was also removed, leaving me bare for their eyes.

Lucas hummed, eyes focused on my chest.

Reaching out, he gripped the edge of the bandage and carefully removed it. His lips twitched as he stared at Nate’s mark. Lucas lowered his head to my shoulder.

I sucked in a shaky breath when he kissed his mark. Shivers raced down my spine when his lips parted, and his tongue flicked out to trace the outline of his mark.

Wetness flooded my panties, surprising me.

I ached, and I was burning for their touch.

Lucas suddenly pulled away, but only to spin me around to face Nate. His head lowered to his mark again.

A moan fell from my lips when Nate cupped my breasts and massaged them. His head lowered, and my breathing sped up when his tongue flicked out to trace his mark.

My knees weakened.

Nate’s hands shot down to grip my hips, but his mouth didn’t move.

Mason was suddenly there, his head lowering to his mark.

It was hard to suck enough air into my lungs. The pleasure that coursed through my body was almost too intense to handle. I could feel all of them, their mouths sucking on my skin and their tongues tasting.

My pussy clenched, feeling empty.

I slipped shaky hands into their hair and arched my back. It was no use trying to keep the sounds I made down.

Excitement filled me when a hand slipped down my stomach. The button of my pants was undone and then the zip slowly pulled down. A second later a hand slipped into my pants and panties. Thick fingers traced the seem of my pussy and then slowly dipped lower.

All it took was a flick of his finger over my clit for me to crash over the edge.

I was floating.

Lips captured mine as hands slipped up my back and then down again over my ass to the back of my thighs. He gripped them firmly and hoisted me up against his body.

I gripped his shoulders, clinging to him.

We moved and a second later my ass was placed down on something cold. I gasped, eyes snapping open to stare at Nate as he slowly entered me.

He hooked my legs higher up his waist and pressed a hand to the middle of my chest, pushing me back. I shivered, goosebumps breaking out over my skin from the cold of the desk.

Movement had me tilting my head back.

Mason leaned over me, his lips curled into a smile. His eyes locked with mine for a few seconds and then darted away. He lowered his head and gripped my wrist to guide my arms over my head. His fingers curled mine around the edge of the desk.

“Keep your hands there, love.”

“Okay,” I breathed.

“If you move them, I’ll take great pleasure in punishing you,” he growled.

I shivered.

Mason’s head lowered, his lips brushing my skin as they moved lower. My back arched but he avoided kissing the spot I wanted him to. His lips moved down between my breasts to my stomach.

In the position he was in, it placed his crotch inches from my face. It was hard to overlook his hard length. I tilted my head back and pressed my lips to the material of his pants.

He froze and slowly raised his head to look at me. His eyes were dark with passion.

Straightening, he unfastened his pants and pulled his cock out. He kept his eyes locked with mine as he guided his length to my mouth.

“Open up, love. Let me in.”
