Chapter 16

"What's going on here?"

Gulf stiffened when he heard his father. He meet him before he will get close to Shine.

"Mama passed out, carry him to the living room Hon." Gulf ordered Mew who immediately followed.

"Wait! What happened? Who is he?!"

Alex shouted but Gulf hold his arm.

"Dad... Keep calm. I'm pregnant." Gulf said and it works like magic, Alex calmed down.

It felt good that his father is slowly following him and reducing his menacing attitude.

Alex might be a bad father but he is planning to be a good grandfather.

They both follow them in the living room.

Alex studied the scarred man. He doesn't look ugly, in fact he has an oozing appeal despite his distorted face.

Shine was still unconscious.

"Gulf, Who is he?!" He snapped again.

"Dad.. I know this is not a proper way since Mama is unconscious.. He is Mew Solitario. My boyfriend.. And the father of my baby." Gulf rubbed his belly to emphasize the word "BABY".

"Hon, he's my Dad, Senator Alex.."

"It's nice to finally meet you Mr. Soledad." Mew formally said.

Alex just nodded. His eyes was fixated to Shine.

Mew look at him intently and he clearly saw that Alex cared for his mother.

Turbo came in holding a small bottle and he let Shine sniff it and Shine woke up slowly. Alex immediately sit next to her.

"Shine.. Are you okay?"

"Where's my Son?" she look around, still groggy.

"Who's your son?!" Alex voice almost roared.

"I am her Son." Mew casually said.

"You are the son who neglected her?"

"Neglected? You don't know anything!" Mew shouted back.

"Will you please both CALM DOWN!!" Gulf shouted at them.

"Sit down honey.. And you Dad."

Then Gulf nodded at Shine.

Shine smiled a bit.

"I know the reason now why he didn't gave me the chance before, he was a victim of mine and his father's problems. My poor child suffered while I can't even get close to him. Have you seen his face? That's what my psycho husband did to him.. I am still worthless I guess. I didn't even protect him."

Alex was stunned. "Why did he did that?"

"He's jealous of you.. And judging from the look of my son's face now. He is blaming us for his hardships. Am I right Mew?" Shine smiled bitterly.

Mew look away. She's right.

He still hate them. Both of them. But Gulf get his hand and place it on his stomach...

"Why don't you have a truce, for the sake of the baby? I am not suggesting that you shall be close to each other, but just be civil." Gulf suggested.

"Wait Up! You are not just using my son for revenge right?!" Alex superiority came back.

"Why would I? Will you be affected if I hurt Gulf? You surely won't get hurt because you don't care about him. Don't deny it." Mew sarcastically said.

"I just said please make a truce. Yet you still bicker!" Gulf glared at the two stubborn men in front of him, he felt dizzy.

He massage his head.

Mew immediately check him out.

"Baby, are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

"Are you hungry?" Alex said.

"No.. Dad.. I want you to have a truce and accept Mew as a part of this family. Then I will be very happy."

"Fine." both Mew and Alex stand up and shook hands.

Shine shyly look at her son, then she scooted close to him and she awkwardly touched his scarred face.

"I'm sorry." she said while in tears.

Mew just shook his head.

He is mad, but deep inside he is longing for the feeling of having a mother.

"It's fine."

"Honey, I wanna go with you." Gulf said interfering them. He clearly see that Mew was still awkward to Shine so he had to help him out.

"What do you mean son?! You will stay here!" Alex shouted.

"Dad, he is my boyfriend. The father of my baby and you are on a truce right? Please Dad.. I really want to be with him. And I guess Mama will have a lot to tell you." Gulf glance at Shine.

"Yes... I actually wanted to talk to you."

Shine nodded while looking at Alex.

"Let's go honey.. Cook for me." Gulf pulled Mew to the door.

"Come back tomorrow Gulf." Alex said.

"Yeah, yeah." Gulf just nodded while he didn't look back.

Mew drove in silence until they reach Mew's building.

They walk straight to the penthouse.

Gulf is busy checking the merchandise that Mew brought for him from Korea, he's beyond happy.

While Mew cook something for them.

He asked Mew white rice, and his favorite fried pork with basil and the kimchi. His mouth watered and he felt hungry.

Gulf slowly strode to the kitchen and his sexy boyfriend was cooking topless and only wearing his boxers. He stand on his back and he squeeze Mew's butt. Then he slap it.

"Hey baby!" Mew was caught off guard. Gulf just slap his butt cheek.

"You have a fluffy ass Honey."

"You!" Mew pointed a finger on his face.

But Gulf glared at him raising a brow.

"What?!"

"Prepare the table please baby." Mew smiled sweetly.

Gulf nodded. He prepared the table, then Mew serve the food and they both eat.

Mew was silently felt cringe after he saw Gulf happily eating the Kimchi. It looks very spicy.

"Baby.. Slowdown.. Too much spicy is bad for the baby." he poured water for Gulf.

"But it is sweet for me. I didn't feel any spiciness on it. Can you taste it Hon?"

"No way." He shook his head.

"Eat.. Or no babe time?!"

Mew pouted, Spicy food is his weakness. But his pregnant Baby wanted him to eat it. And he can't say no.

And babe time is a must for him.

He is indeed in danger.

He eat a small part of the Kimchi and he almost vomit when he tasted how spicy it is. But seeing Gulf happily looking at him. He don't have a heart to remove that happiness.

"Is it good?" Gulf clap his hands.

Mew slowly nodded. His mouth felt hot, his face and ears. If he is in front of the mirror now he is sure that he looks really red.

"Yes."

"Yey.. Baby.. Your Dad likes what we are eating." Gulf whispered while rubbing his belly.

Mew stand up and hugged him from behind. His emotions rise up.

The image of Gulf talking to their baby is priceless.

"I love you Babies.." Mew rubbed his belly. "Thank you."

Gulf just laugh.

"Drink milk honey, it will help you ease the spiciness."

Mew's happiness is immeasurable.
