"Stay away from Rose or the world will know you're the man who almost got Romeo deported and Kenzie nearly dumped." Robert hissed furiously. It was clear that he hated it and refrained from teaching Sebastian. A strong aura of anger radiated from the man's entire body. Seeing Sebastian not showing the slightest hint of guilt, his eyes lit up. "You accuse me of being jealous? Are you going to use this slander to stop Rose from liking me?" Sebastian flashed a mocking smile. "I have evidence for that. You think I'll keep quiet when it comes to other people's lives, let alone the future of my biological child?" Robert growled, seeing that Sebastian was a master of tongues. "The children and family you've abandoned, haven't you?" Sebastian smacked Robert's hand, still squeezing his collar, but the grip was too firm. "You don't deserve Rose!" Sebastian put his fist on his hips to create distance by pushing Robert, then the man used his head to hit Robert's nose. Robert was pushed back, his hand holding the collar fell off and his nose was bleeding. Before Robert could control himself, Sebastian punched the man in the chest, knocking him down. "You are the one who hurt and ruined Rose's life, but how could you so arrogantly and proudly shamelessly continue to approach Rose! I am the one who is always by her side, I am also the one who is most entitled to Rose's love!" Sebastian shouted angrily. "And you used a sneaky way to get to Rose? You purposely used your friend who works in immigration and social services to report the situation to Rose's family, to make her depend on you?" Robert hissed furiously. "Too bad beyond your calculations, Rose came to me!" Robert laughed scornfully. "It's all because of your cunning, and I'll take it back!" shouted Sebastian, full of emotion. "Rose is my wife," Robert hissed. He tried to stand up straight and wipe the blood flowing from his nose. "You're not the right man to be Rose's husband." Sebastian ran to land another punch on Robert, but the man agilely dodged. "You think you're more worthy than me? The man who's been scheming is taking advantage of his situation and intends to keep Rose away from his father and son. You're more terrible, using your power by sending them in immigration captivity." Robert glared at Sebastian. "Is that true?" The soft, quivering voice took the two men who were about to attack each other, be taken aback. The bickering between them made the two people not realize that the elevator was ringing. Rose who saw Robert being hit by Sebastian, had a stifled scream. The woman was about to run over, but her steps were choked to hear their conversation. "Rose…" Robert whispered. He didn't want Rose to see and know the truth this way. Robert doesn't want Rose's tender heart to be hurt because the truth is that the kindness of others is just a mask. "No, Rose, it's all the slander he plans to keep me away from you." Sebastian loosened his clenched fists. "Slander?" Rose whispered. She looked at the two men in turn. 'Look at you who claim to be an enforcer of truth, a public servant. Hoarding lies with other lies," said Robert sarcastically. "I'm telling the truth, I have proof that Robert ordered someone to burn your shop down." Sebastian tried to direct Rose's anger at her husband. "I'm not going to deny anything, Rose. I've wronged you in the past, but I never reported Romeo to immigration or put Kenzie on social services." Robert looked at Rose sadly. Rose froze in her anxiety. Everything left her confused, and she didn't know what to do. Rose comes back downstairs worried about Robert but overhears the truth. 'I've always blamed Robert for everything, but . . . ' Rose thought frantically. "Stop! Stop it." Rose raised her hand forward when the two men were about to approach her. "Sebastian, thank you for the kindness of the past. I won't prolong this matter. However, you must remember I don't owe you anything." Rose said firmly to the policeman. "Go and look for me no more. Find happiness with another woman." "Rose, I love you…" Sebastian pleaded. "But I don't and never will, Sebastian," said Rose firmly. "Then, you prefer that cruel doctor who brought--" "Stop it, Sebastian! Robert is Kenzie's father. How I handle him is my business!" Rose was strict with a man who never even acknowledged his faults. "Go away, she rejected you." Robert waved his hand at Sebastian. "It's not over yet, I won't give up!" Sebastian looks disapproved of Rose's decision. "You'd better give up, otherwise I'll put you in court. I could get by hiring dozens of lawyers, but you, as a cop, are you sure you're willing to lose your job and position due to a scandal with someone else's wife?" The firmness behind Robert's words made Sebastian speechless. Sebastian looked at Rose desperately, hoping that she would change her mind. Seeing Rose turn her face away as if reluctant to look at him, Sebastian chose to leave in silence. He is forced to give up things he can not sincerely let go of. "Rose, I'm sorry…" Robert said quietly. He approached Rose, but the woman backed away, so Robert chose to stop him in his tracks. Their gazes collided, Robert tried to figure out what Rose's eyes meant to him, but he couldn't read the woman's heart. "Rose, I can explain everything," Robert spoke quietly. Not a word left the woman's lips. Rose opened her bag and took out a wet tissue. She gave it to Robert. "Wipe the blood off your face before my son gets worried." Robert grabbed the tissue while holding Rose's hand and pulled the woman's hand until Rose's body hit him. Robert hugged Rose tightly, afraid of losing her. "I don't deserve you to forgive Rose for that I never expected. But what I'm saying is sincerely from the bottom of my heart, Rose, that I'm sorry I hurt you in the first place. I'm sorry I started things off with you." Robert whispered passionately. "Don't leave Kenzie and me, Rose, I love you. I love you and want to make you happy, Rose. You believe that, don't you?" Robert lifted Rose's chin as he spoke his feelings. Rose's eyes filled with tears listening to Robert's sincerity. A confession that she never thought would slip from the lips of the arrogant man. What is unconsciously waiting for her heart? "Robert… I need some time to digest all of this." Rose freed herself from Robert's arms. "Hurry up and clean your face, Kenzie is waiting for dinner."
