Twenty-four hours she had been confined in the room. Rose could barely keep her eyes closed, standing by the door hoping the shutters would open. She listened carefully, battling the drowsiness. She was about to close her eyes and dreamland carried her away, when she heard a faint voice outside. A graceful thump hit the floor, convincing Rose that they were a woman's high heels. "Help!" shouted Rose, pounding on the door. She did not waste the opportunity to get out of the cage immediately. "Please, get me out!" Rose kept making a fuss so that whoever out there she believed wasn't Robert could open the door right away. Her wish came true, She could feel footsteps approaching the door where she was confined. Rose continued to scream pleading, so that the person's door was moved. "Who are you?" asked the soft voice behind the door. "Miss, please let me out. I'm locked in this place, I have to go home," Rose whined pitifully. The door opened and there is a very modern, elegant and beautiful woman standing looking at Rose with a probing look. The woman blocking the exit made Rose, who felt relieved and wanted to leave immediately, had to be silent for a moment. "Who are you?" Rosa, Robert's lover, looked at Rose with disapproval. "Me, Rose. Thank you, Miss, for opening this door. Now I have to get going before that crazy Doctor comes back." Rose crossed the road. The woman moved quickly to find a way out. She couldn't wait to escape from the handsome doctor's luxurious apartment that had made her miserable. Rose's feeling of restlessness made her not realize that Rosa was rushing behind her, until Rose's hand was pulled violently, making her body drag and almost fall backwards. "Tell me, who are you?" Rosa looked Rose up and down. "You're a mercenary?" Rosa's words were like a slap in Rose's face. The girl looked at Rosa with a sick feeling at the woman's humiliation. "I'm not a mercenary." "Then why are you in that room, cooped up?" Rosa's cynical smile showed that the woman did not believe what Rose said. "Ask your lover. Now I have to go before he comes back." Rose stomped Rosa's hand. "Hey! Are you a criminal?" Rose, who stumbled backwards, screamed in anger. Rose stopped her steps in front of the elevator hearing Rosa's words. She angrily turned her head towards the large urn that was on the side of the private elevator door of Robert's luxury apartment. The girl without a second thought, pushed the gucci so that it fell and broke. "Yeah, I'm a criminal now!" cried Rose. The woman got into the elevator and ignored Rosa's surprised look at her actions. Rose looked at Rosa expressionlessly and immediately pressed the ground floor. Luckily she didn't need a card to go downstairs. Arriving at the lobby, Rose immediately got out and looked for a taxi. The woman attracted a lot of attention from the residents of the luxury apartment who happened to be in the lobby. Rose ignored him, until she was outside the apartment and quickly found a taxi. Rose breathed a sigh of relief as she got into the luxury taxi. She gave the address and leaned quietly in the four-wheeler, which led him to her rundown apartment. "Thank you," said Rose after paying the hefty fee. Without wasting any time, Rose ran to her apartment. She knocked on the door and immediately opened it. The girl was very surprised to see her small apartment room so quiet, without any signs of life. "Kenzie! Daddy! Dulce!" Rose screamed and searched every corner of the room. She couldn't find them and didn't get an answer from anyone. Rose took a glass of mineral water before sitting limply. The woman thought that the three people she was looking for were enjoying the afternoon outside. "I need to rest so that tomorrow I have the strength to find a new job." Rose lay down on the sofa and she unconsciously fell asleep. Not long ago she fell asleep and her body had been shaken by someone. "Rose… Rose… thank goodness you're back." Rose opened her eyes reluctantly, but soon fully opened when she saw Dulce sobbing. The girl straightened herself and grabbed the middle-aged woman's shoulder. "Dulce, why are you crying?" "I couldn't stop it, Rose." "Prevent what?" Rose was confused by Dulce's answer. "Where's Daddy and Kenzie." Dulce's cries grew louder and louder. The woman's shoulders shook violently, making Rose even more confused. "What happened Dulce? Don't cry, tell me did something happen to Daddy and Kenzie?" "They took him away, Rose. You're not here, I don't know what to do," Dulce stammered. "Who was taken away?" Rose turned deathly pale. "Daddy and kenzie? Where are they?" "Immigration officers came and questioned Mr Romeo's citizenship status. They then took Mr and Kenzie too," said Dulce sadly Rose's body went limp for a moment. She had just thought she could breathe a sigh of relief, but suddenly she had bad news to hear. "How could this happen?" "I'm sorry Rose, I don't dare go against them. I don't know what to do." Dulce looked very guilty. When Rose used to give her a place to stay and protect her from immigration officers who were after her. Helped obtain asylum, this time she could do nothing to repay the favor. "I can only try to follow Kenzie from a distance with the help of next door neighbors. They took Kenzie to a child protection center." Dulce blew his nose with a tissue before continuing, "Kenzie keeps crying Rose and she screams your name." "My God, what is this ordeal again?" Tears rolled down Rose's delicate cheeks. The woman's body was shaking and she felt her head heavy. The whole room seemed to spin, but Rose tried to hold on. The woman squeezed the handle of the chair hard. "I have to find them." Rose stood up and she felt her vision darken for a moment. "Rose!" Dulce looked panicked at the state of the woman. "You haven't eaten yet?" Dulce led Rose to sit back down. She immediately took a glass of milk and a piece of bread which he immediately gave to Rose, which the girl was forced to eat. "I have to see where Kenzie is. That kid must be really scared." Rose couldn't imagine how the little boy was doing. It was a really unfortunate fate when his biological mother had just left him. Rose only ate half a piece of bread. The girl walked towards the door and just as she grabbed the handle a knock sounded. "Miss Rose, you must go to the police station."
