Ivy's POV

I got into the room and met Anderson at the door.
" You went to see Oscar?" He asked me.

I saw the look on his face and it was not welcoming. He had seen me go to their flat.
" No, I was there to see Lily, she was here yesterday about something concerning her mother and I just had to go there and let her know what I think" I lied.

There is no way I was going to tell him what was going on and I knew that Lily was also going to lie to Oscar about it, and it is not going to be the same thing.

" Are you sure about that?" He asked me.
I could see the disbelief on his face but I was not bothered.
" Yes, I'm sure, and why are you still up?" I asked.

" I have things to sort out concerning the company. Father will never see the work I am putting in right now, I know he will give all of the accolades to Oscar" he said.

I had no idea on how to comfort him but I had an idea on how to make the company his.
" You will get it, you worry too much," I said.

If there's one thing I'm going to do for him for being nice to me, I'll make him get the company.
" I have to worry, I can let this slip through my fingers after all I have done for this company" he said.

I pulled him closer to me and just let him relax his head on my boobs.
" You will get what you want, I promise you" I said.

I was glad he did not ask me how I was going to get it done, because I had no explanation to give to him.

I got up the next day with that same banging headache and I just knew I was going to spend that day at home resting and not going anywhere at all.

" Let Jane get my tea ready, I do not think I'll be leaving my room today" I said.

Anderson looked at me with so much pity in his eyes. I saw that he genuinely cared about me, but It didn't matter.
" I'll do that. Let her attend to every of your needs, she is paid well, so she handles all your needs" he said.

He moved over to my side and kissed me on my lips, it was warm.
" I'll see you later," I said.
" Alright then, take a good amount of rest" he said and left.

I was glad he was gone. I rested my head on the bed and just hoped that the day was over already.
The doctor had asked that I get enough rest, but who is ever going to get rest when I have a lot to do?

A knock came on the door and I knew it should be the maid, I got up and opened it and it was her.
" Keep it on the table, thank you" I muttered.

She did as she was told.
" Is there anything else you would want from me?" She asked me.
" Nothing" I said.

I did not want anyone to bother me at all, not even now that my head was hurting. I went back to the bed and just laid there, with my eyes looking at the coffee like it was some strange thing.

I ran my hands through my stomach. I have only a few months left to do whatever it is, because I'll need to leave here and go far away to have my baby.

A knock came on the door again, I remembered telling the maid that I did not want anything else, why then was she here again?

I got up from the bed and opened the door.
" What do you want?" I asked her with an angry face.
Lily just has a way of getting me upset, because I truly wanted to rest my head today.

" Why did you go to Oscar's office? I have a confidant in that company and she reports back to me, she sees your every move and how long you last in his office" she said.

It made me laugh, was she being serious right now? I can not believe it.
" Why are you so worked up? You should know that your little husband has nothing to offer me, I only went there for some personal business and it has nothing to do with you" I said.

Her eyes went round the room, then she scoffed.
" You have a bigger room," she whispered.
" Of course, and you should hurry up so you can return back to that hole" I said, putting it at her flat.

She smiled, trying not to be offended by my choice of words.
But I knew deep down that it did hurt her.
" About those images and all of the information you have about that night at the club, how did you get it? Who gave it to you?" She asked.

" I thought we ended it already? Why are you back to the same spot where I asked you not to be?" I asked.

" I just want to know how you got all of that"
" I can not tell you, you have to back off and I will do the same" I made it clear to her.

She swallowed.
" Fine, but I do not know what you are doing with my husband, I'll find it and you are going to not like what I'll do" she said.

It made me laugh, that was a little threat compared to what was waiting for her.
" I'm scared" I wrapped my hands around my body in a funny way.
" You think this is a joke?"
" I think it's more than a joke," I said.

I glared at her as I expected her to leave, but she still stood there.
" Do you want to find out something about yourself?" She asked.
" No, I hardly ever dig out anything about me and I do not care" I shrugged my shoulders.
I could see the disappointment on her face.
