Ivy's POV

He seemed okay but I was uncomfortable with his presence in my room. He stood there and looked at me.
" Do you want to permanently stay in my room? You can leave your belongings here and stay in my room, I want you there so you can be close to me" he said softly.

I was not comfortable with the way he spoke to me but I stayed calm. He was being really nice and that was unusual.

" Oh no, do not worry about me, I'm fine here, I can stay here, but you know I can always come spend time with you in your room, that will be okay" I said.

There's no way I was going to constantly live in his room, it won't give me the space to plan all of the things I want to plan.

" Okay then" he took a step closer to me and wrapped his hands around my waist as he pulled me closer.

" When was the last time we had a proper time together? You are busy with a lot of things and you no longer have time for me" he said.

His head rested on my neck as he trails kisses all around my neck.

I could feel his breath on my skin.
" You have been busy as well. You have been busy with work too" I said.
" Why don't we focus on it and forget about excuses, there's a party tomorrow, maybe a glass of wine after that and I get to taste those lips of yours" he said.

A smile came on my face as I raised my head and looked at him.

" How do you feel being the only married one here?" I placed my hands on his shoulder.

He shrugged.
" I do not know what father has to do with that. I want him to hand over the company to me. I'm the only one standing right now but I doubt he will, " he said.

It made no sense to me. There was a condition that was meant to be met and he did that already.

" Your father wants Oscar to be the one to handle things," I said.
" He does not think I deserve it, and that's because he does not see me as a son, he dislikes my mother and dislikes me as well" he said.

I did not want to talk about his mother, it was not necessary right now.
" What party are we having tomorrow? Is there a party that I do not know about?" I asked him.

I got no invite yet about a party hosting tomorrow.
" You will get it soon, it came as a short notice" he said.

A knock came on the door, I faced him and then returned my attention to the door.

I got to it, opened the door and saw Jane standing there with a card in her hands.
" Is that for me?" I took it from her hoping it was the invite.
" It is," she said before leaving.

I turned and faced Oscar with a smile on my face.
" I got it" I showed it to him.
" I told you, we are going to have the best night tomorrow and I want you to look so hot and amazing for me," he said.

That was going to happen, only that it is going to be for him and of course,Oscar. I wanted him to desire me and make sure he regrets letting me go and choosing Lily over me.

" Of course, I will be so good looking for you and then we get to have ourselves late into the night, it's going to be a perfect time" I said.
There were smiles on my face, I was getting him to feel the way I wanted him to feel and the way I wanted him to act when he was around me.

He pulled me close and I immediately felt a pain in my head. I held my head so I could be stable.

" Are you okay?" He asked me.
He does not know that I am sick.
" I am fine, I am a little bit dizzy, I need to rest and be ready for tomorrow" I lied.

He held me and refused to let go, even when I wanted him to be out of my room.
" I'll stay here with you and watch over you" I said.
" There won't be any need for that, I'll be fine. I also want to be left alone so I can relax better" .

I was glad when he agreed to it and left my room. I got up and placed my hands on my head as it was getting bad.

Maybe I should go to see the doctor, but it was not the right time to do that. I reached out for my phone and tried to call the doctor when I stopped. I knew he was going to ask me to get to his office at the hospital immediately and I did not know what to do.

I dropped my phone and just sat there as I tried to relax my body so I could stop feeling the pain. I laid my head on the bed as I closed my eyes.
It began to get better and it got clearer as well.

I woke up later and felt so hungry. I got to the kitchen and saw Oscar right there. I was not expecting to see him there.

" It's good to see you again, I almost forgot that you stayed in this house," he said.

That was a lie, he was trying to make me look standing right now and I did not find it cool.
" I wonder what you are doing here in the kitchen, I thought the maids can get you whatever you want, or is it because Lily is no longer here to take your orders?" I fired back at him.

He went mute and I was glad to have been able to shut him up. He dropped the fruits on the table.
" You didn't have to mention her" he was upset.
I haven't even started yet.
