Chapter Fifty-One

Chapter Fifty-One
Conan’s lips moved from my mouth to my throat, trailing fire down to my collarbone. Every kiss was slow, deliberate, like he wanted to savor me piece by piece.

“Conan,” I whispered, clutching at his shoulders.

He lifted his head just enough to look me in the eye. “Do you trust me?”

“Yes,” I breathed without hesitation.

“Good.” His mouth curved into a smirk. “Because I don’t plan on letting you get any sleep tonight.”

I laughed nervously, but it turned into a moan when his hand slid down my stomach and between my thighs. My back arched, needing more.

“You're so wet already?” he teased.

“Shut up,” I muttered, biting my lip, but he only chuckled low and dark.

He kissed my lips again, harder this time, while his fingers teased my clit until I was gasping, trembling against him. I clawed at his back, nails dragging across his skin, and he groaned in approval.

His tongue flicked my nipple before biting down gently. I arched, cumbusting at the sweet sensation. My release came with an intensity that shook my whole body and felt like i was floating.

“You drive me insane, Aurora,” he said, voice rough as he pressed his forehead to mine. “No one else could ever do this to me.”

The sincerity in his eyes made my chest ache almost as much as the heat pooling in my body. I pulled him down to me. “Then show me.”

He didn’t need to be told twice. He slid inside me slowly, inch by inch, his eyes locked on mine the whole time. My breath caught at the stretch, but the way he kissed me through it made me melt into the sensation.

“Fuck,” he muttered, his jaw tight. “You feel so damn good.”

My hands gripped his arms. “Conan…”

“Say my name again.”

“Conan,” I gasped, and he rewarded me with a thrust that made me cry out.

“That’s it,” he growled, picking up the pace, his body moving against mine in a rhythm that had me seeing stars.

I couldn’t hold back my moans, not when every part of me was burning, not when he was whispering filthy promises in my ear one second and telling me I was beautiful the next.

“You’re mine,” he said against my neck. “Every inch of you belongs to me.”

“Yes,” I moaned. “I’m yours.”

The words lit something in him. His thrusts grew deeper, harder, until I was clinging to him, desperate, on the edge of unraveling.

“Don’t hold back,” he demanded.

I didn’t. The sound that tore out of me was raw, honest, and he groaned in response, chasing his own release. He buried his face in my neck, growling my name as he came with me, his body shuddering against mine.

We collapsed together, sweaty and breathless, tangled in the sheets. For a long moment, the only sound was our uneven breathing.

I traced lazy circles on his back, still trying to catch my breath. After a few minutes, he kissed my forehead and pulled out of me, making me whimper at the sudden emptiness. He kissed me softly this time, then stood.

“Where are you going?” I asked, my voice still shaky.

“Bathroom,” he said with a satisfied smile on his face. “Don’t go anywhere.”

“As if I could walk right now,” I muttered, making him laugh.

He disappeared into the bathroom, and soon I heard water running. When he came back, he scooped me up effortlessly.

I leaned into his chest as he carried me into the bathroom where the tub was already filling. Steam curled in the air.

He set me down gently in the warm water before sliding in behind me, pulling me against his chest. The heat of the bath and his body made me melt completely.

For a while, we just soaked, quiet except for the sound of water and our breathing. But calm never lasted with him. His lips brushed my shoulder, then my neck. His hands started moving again, teasing.

“Conan,” I moaned.

“You’re a goddess, Aurora. And I won’t let you forget it. God, I wished you would see yourself the way I see you,” he whispered in my hair.

I smiled, leaning back to kiss him. “Show me,” I teased, grinding back against him in the water.

He groaned. “Keep testing me and you’ll find out.”

“Maybe I want to,” I whispered, and then his mouth was on mine again, his hands sliding over my wet skin, pulling me closer.

We didn’t stop until the water turned lukewarm, and even then, we stumbled out only to continue tangled in the sheets until exhaustion finally claimed us.

As I drifted off, my body sore and satisfied, I realized something that scared me as much as it thrilled me.

I didn’t just want him. I was starting to need him.
