Chapter 50 CAMILLA! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU.

Chapter 50 CAMILLA! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU.
CAMILLA! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU.

Caesar sat on the couch in the living room, he was watching a movie with a smile on his face as he sip his chilled yogurt gently.

A bowl of popcorn and a bottle of yogurt was placed on the table right in front of him.

He felt very happy taking a day off from the company just to have a rest.

But then he heard a knock on the door.

“Who's that?” He asked but he got no response.

He ignored it and moved his gaze back to the television set.

But then a knock sounded on the door again.

Caesar stood up from the couch, walking straight to the door.

He was shocked to see Lisa standing outside when he opened it.

He wanted to ask her what she was doing in his house but he just couldn't find his voice.

Lisa wore a cheerful expression on her face as she stared at Caesar.

“Hi master”

“What are you doing here?”

“You should at least let me into your house first before questioning me”

Without asking for permission, Lisa made her way into the sitting room.

Leaving Caesar all alone near the door.

“What the hell is Lisa doing in my house?” Caesar asked himself. He closed the door and made his way to the sitting room.

He met Lisa staring at the cup of yogurt and bowl of popcorn he had placed on the table.

“I can see that you are famished and that's why you have decided to keep yourself busy with these appetizers” Lisa said, settling on the couch.

Caesar's eyes narrowed, his gaze burning with intensity as he stared at Lisa.

His eyebrows were furrowed, and his jaw was clenched, giving his face a stern, angry expression.

His eyes seemed to bore into Lisa's, as if accusing her of trespassing on his personal space.

"What are you doing in my house?" Caesar repeated, his voice low and menacing, his words dripping with irritation.

Lisa shifted uncomfortably on the couch, her eyes darting back and forth under Caesar's intense stare.

"I came to see you," she replied, her voice hesitant.

Caesar's expression darkened further.

"See me? We saw each other yesterday at the office. What's going on, Lisa? Do you think it's your job to check up on me when I take a day off?"

Lisa rose from the couch, her eyes fixed on Caesar as she approached him.

"But master, I can see that you're angry, and I suspect it's because you're hungry," she said, her voice soft and soothing.

"Since your wife abandoned you, I'd be happy to prepare something for you to eat."

“Keep that to yourself, even when my wife isn't around I won't allow you to cook for me” Caesar growled.

“I know you would refuse but I insist” Lisa said, making her way to the kitchen's direction.

Caesar's expression didn't change, but Lisa could sense a flicker of surprise behind his eyes.

She continued on her way to the kitchen, her footsteps quiet on the floor.

"Come back here, Lisa!" Caesar called after her, his voice firm but tinged with a hint of uncertainty.

As the sleek, black sedan glided out of Camilla's driveway, she settled into the plush leather seat, preparing herself for the long journey ahead.

The five-hour drive to the hotel stretched out before her like an endless ribbon, and she couldn't help but feel a pang of boredom.

But Camilla was a resourceful woman, and she had come prepared.

She pulled out her script and began to read, the words blurring together on the page as the soft music playing in the background threatened to lull her into a gentle sleep.

Bruno, her driver, seemed to sense her restlessness, and he expertly adjusted the volume, allowing the melodic tunes to fill the car without overpowering her.

The music was a soothing balm, calming her frazzled nerves and making the journey more enjoyable.

As the hours ticked by, Camilla found herself becoming more relaxed, her eyelids growing heavy as the rhythmic beat of the music washed over her.

She had given Bruno the hotel's address earlier, and he drove with confidence, navigating the winding roads with ease.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the sedan pulled into the hotel's driveway.

Camilla's eyes snapped open, and she gazed out the window, taking in the hotel's elegant façade.

The compound was beautifully landscaped, with lush greenery and vibrant flowers adding splashes of color to the sleek, modern architecture.

As Bruno brought the car to a smooth stop, Camilla gathered her belongings and stepped out onto the pavement.

The warm sunlight enveloped her, and she took a deep breath, feeling invigorated after the long drive.

With Bruno following closely behind, carrying her bag, Camilla made her way into the hotel's lobby.

The interior was just as impressive as the exterior, with sleek lines, polished marble, and sparkling crystal chandeliers creating a luxurious ambiance.

As she approached the reception desk, a friendly receptionist greeted her with a warm smile.

"Welcome to our hotel, ma'am. I have your reservation right here. You're in room 314. Here's your key card."

Camilla took the key card, her eyes scanning the room number before she turned to Bruno.

"Thank you, Bruno. You can just leave my bag here, and I'll take it up to my room by myself."

Bruno nodded, setting the bag down beside her.

"Have a good rest, ma'am. I'll be back to pick you up whenever you're ready."

With a nod, Camilla watched as Bruno turned and made his way back to the car.

She took a deep breath, feeling a sense of relief wash over her now that she had finally arrived at her destination.

With her bag by her side, she made her way to the elevator, ready to settle into her room and unwind after the long journey.

As the elevator doors slid open on the third floor, Camilla stepped out of the quiet corridor, her eyes scanning the room number until she found 314.

She slipped the key card into the slot and the door swung open.

Camilla's eyes widened in surprise as she stepped into the room.

She had been expecting a peaceful, serene space, but instead, she was confronted with a figure sitting on the bed.

Her heart skipped a beat as she took in the familiar features of the person sitting before her.

Alex.

As she stood frozen in the doorway, Alex looked up and caught her eye.

A slow smile spread across his face, and he rose from the bed, his movements fluid and confident.

"Camilla," he said, his voice low and husky. "I've been waiting for you."
