Chapter 82 Happy Ending
Chapter 82 Happy Ending
"It's probably because of this." Ellis rubbed his nose, then pulled out his smartphone and played one of the most popular short videos on Tik Tok for Tobias.
The video was uploaded by Mae, Ellis' mate.
In the video, Tobias was staring intently into a microscope.
As Mae was filming, she asked him.
\[Hey, you loser who cheated on your wife with a double identity and ended up being locked up by your grandfather relying on your wife to save you, have you researched a potion that restores the shifting ability of your perfect wife yet?\]
Tobias remembered it was this morning when Mae visited here to check on the progress of his potion research, like a cold and incapable boss asking in the coldest of tones why your report was done as well as shit before the deadline of an unprecedented project.
Annoying enough to make him want to blacklist her from the Wilton Family.
"You know what? Ellis, I'm thinking about letting your damn mate experience what it's like to be on the Wilton Family's blacklist." Tobias' frown tightened and said to Ellis in an unhappy tone.
Ellis sighed, "Trust me, I'm already on my mate's blacklist for speaking up for you. Now I can only see her face in videos cast on the internet by the news media."
The video continued with Mae's voice that annoyed him.
Mae: Now, let's interview the perfect wife of the loser from earlier. Dear Alicia, how do you feel about your mate claiming he will manage to make the potion before the wedding for you and your baby, but in reality he spent 3 days in the lab making a piece of shit?
But at the sight of his Allie appearing in the video, Tobias' loosened his brow and smiled a little.
Alicia looked up to face the camera, smiled and said, "I believe King of Rogues never goes back on his word."
At this point, Edward came flying out of the lab yelling, "It worked. Alpha Tobias, the liquid color and smell is changing."
Tobias turned around and saw that the potion in the test tube in Edward's hand had turned a pure blue and smelled like minty almonds, exactly the same color and smell as the perfect and ideal potion described in his dad's notes.
Tobias grinned as he grabbed the test tube.
Ellis wrapped his arm around Tobias' shoulders and smiled as he repeated Alicia's words from the video, "The King of Rogues never goes back on his word."
Amidst the the quiet and luxurious villa neighborhoods of Los Angeles, the Golden Moon Pack's pack house stood as a beacon of hope and renewal.
It was here that Tobias and Alicia's wedding and Luna ceremony took place.
Respecting Alicia's wishes, Tobias invited only his and Alicia's family and friends to the wedding and the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, Ellis announced he would like to be the Alpha for the Silver Moon Pack in New York.
He made this decision not only to deliver the potion made by Tobias to the alphas in New York who had lost their shifting abilities, but more importantly, he wanted to manage the Sliver Moon Pack and better support his brother Tobias later on.
With this exchange of leadership, the brothers forged a bond stronger than ever before.
But Mae, not wanting to leave Alicia, determined to wait until Alicia's baby was born and she became the baby's godmother before considering going to New York.
As evening descended, Tobias and Alicia found themselves nestled in the sanctuary of a transparent stargazing spot. This was a haven that Alicia has been commissioned by Damian to design for his villa.
Now it was their home.
The soft glow of moonlight bathed them in its ethereal embrace as Tobias handed Alicia a cup of steaming hot milk, their fingers intertwining in silent communion.
Lost in the quiet intimacy of the moment, they pondered the future that lay ahead, contemplating what name to bestow upon their unborn child.
"Mae strongly requested that the name decision be left to her if it's a girl." Alicia's voice was a soft whisper as she spoke, her eyes alight with anticipation.
Tobias grunted and said, "Yeah, she can try to see if she can beat me for the name decision."
Alicia gently stroked her stomach and said, "But I have a feeling it's a boy."
"If it's a boy, his name must have been decided a long time ago, right?" Tobias asked with a meaningful smile.
Alicia winked, teasingly. "I guess we have the same name for him."
A shared smile danced across their lips and they both uttered the name that held a special place in their hearts – "Damian."
