Yifang entered the chamber of his mother and paused for a set seeing Ursala with his mother. He decided to turn but Niomi saw him and called him to join them. Having no choice Yifang went inside and sat near his mother.

"Prince Yifang, it's been days since I last saw you."

"Hm, I was busy."
Yifang added as he avoided Ursala.

"Yifang, Ursala haven't went out to see our kingdom. Why don't you take her out and show her around?"
Niomi spoke in a gentle tone while Yifang looked around.

"May be later."

He sat there and only replied when it was necessary as if ignoring Ursala while Ursala finally got up and took a leave. As she left, Niomi glared at Yifang.

"Why were you being ride with her?"

"I am like this with everyone. It's not new to you. Isn't it?"

He laid back and stared at the ceiling. Saya caught cold last night and was resting. She asked more like ordered him to leave so he won't caught cold from her and Yifang had to leave the room even though he was worried for her. Sometimes, he just couldn't ignore her. He was taking orders from a human.

"She is your mate."

"Mom...."

"What happened to our necklace?" Niomi noticed the shine of the silver was dull. Yifang held the moon pendant and realized that it was warning towards him.

"I don't know." He clearly lied while Niomi became worried.

"Bina.... isn't that her name?
Should I ask her for help? I have lost my powers but my knowledge is still here." She tapped on her forehead while Yifang rolled to face her.

"So, you met her."

"Hm. I don't know what to do. She is one of my people. But seeing her here I can feel I can go back to them. Do you think they will accept me?"

"You need to be good to Saya if you want to go there."

"Huh?"
Niomi was confused while Yifang chuckled softly seeing his mother's expressions as if she ate something bitter.

"She is pretty and I like her. Just accept her."

"But your mate..."

"Mother, you know us men. Don't you? Why would I take Ursala over Saya. She is my mate but Saya..... she is something else. Pretty and sexy."

"Yifang..." Niomi smacked his head in anger while Yifang chuckled seeing her angry. Before he could say anything and make his mother more angry, there was a knock and Paul entered the room.
Seeing Yifang, he frowned.

"Brother, come come. I need your opinion over something."
Yifang sat up while Paul sat on the seat where Ursala was sitting.

"You can leave now. I need to talk with Paul." Niomi told Yifang who chuckled and became comfortable on the couch.

"You can talk in front of me. It's not I am a spy."

Paul knitted his brows.

"He is your genius son but I will take that throne." Yifang added jokingly and Niomi had to smack his head again making him whimper in pain.

"He is the eldest son. The throne belongs to him so stop acting like a fool. Moreover, your father is very interested in making peace treaty with those lowly humans." She scoffed and Paul did not say anything. He was not against peace but he was against anyone who wanted to take what belonged to him.

The throne will go to Kyle but he already announced not to be the next king and as he had no kids than the next person in line was Paul. Everyone knew the throne belonged to him but now Yifang wanted the same thing.
But with his illness, he was sure Yifang will be the next king and he was trying everything to cure his illness.
His lycan form was becoming weak and his witch form was becoming stronger.

"Mom, you are so against those humans but don't forget your brother killed the king and died after it. He reaped what he sow."

Yifang showed the truth and got up before he could end up getting his ass beaten by his mother. He was the only one in this palace who can speak such harsh truth and Paul admitted it in his heart.

After Yifang nearly ran out of the room, the queen kept yelling at Saya who was changing Yifang while Paul wanted to tell his mother that Yifang was always same and Saya had nothing to do in this matter but stayed quiet.


"What brought you here?"
Niomi turned towards Paul who inhaled deeply.

He always felt a wall between him and his parents. Unlike Yifang, who had a bad mouth yet was friendly with both their parents, he never acted like him. He also wanted to joke around and be playful but always felt hesitant.

Niomi got up and reached near him. She lifted her hand and touched his forehead.

"Why are you looking so pale?"

She asked him who smiled softly.

"You are over thinking."

Niomi sat with him and took his hand in her's.

"Don't be angry with Yifang. He is only doing this to irritate you. Since childhood, he wanted to be like you. You were his idol and he has been obsessed over this idea.
But you are his elder brother and you have to take care of him."

Paul did not say anything. He has heard this million of times. Why he has to take care of him? Why him?

Bina stared at the white crystal on her forehead. No matter how long she stared at it, it did not change it's color.

The door was knocked and she quickly wore the band on her forehead. Saya entered the room and smiled at her.

"I did not want to disturb you but my cold is becoming worse."

Bina motioned her to sit on the couch and took out some medicine. She gave the medicine to her and then sat in front of her.

"You should have called me."

"There was no need to."
Saya drank the medicine and instantly felt warmth filling her.

"I stayed with brother late last night." She admitted while Bina looked busy in her medicines.

"You seems to respect your brother a lot."

"Of course I do.
He is very affectionate towards us. Also, he will be the king soon and mother is already looking for a princess for him. There is a line of princess and duchesses that wanted to marry him. Any woman who married him will be lucky."

Saya informed her whose hand paused. She felt bad for Xavier who was bounded to herm

"Oh."
Saya exclaimed.
"Your crystal..."

She pointed towards Bina's forehead where the band slipped and then fall down her face.

"Someone touched your crystal?"

"hm."

"Oh no. Was it some lycan? What are you going to do? Does that person knows about it?"

Saya looked worried while Bina gave her a paper bag.

"You can take this medicine later."

"Bina, if you need any help than do tell me. If that person dared to bully you, I will break his legs."

Bina stared at her.

"You can break his legs."

"Why so?"

"Because you could not."

"Do I know him?"

Saya questioned and before Bina could say anything Paul entered the room. Seeing Saya, he did not say anything but glanced at Bina and then left.
Saya find it confusing but shrugged the thought thinking he must come here by accident.

Bina could not say anything as Paul ordered her not to tell anyone about his illness. Also, right now, she had no control over powers until Xavier accept her.

Saya stayed with her for sometime and then left. As she walked out, she decided to meet Xavier and went to his chamber.

Xavier was working on a file but closed it seeing her.

"Brother..."

"You look sick."

"I caught a cold last night." She sat on the cahir while Xavier reached near her and took her hand in his. Her body felt warm.

"Have you taken your medicine?"

"Yes, I did."

"Hm."

Xavier freed her hand.

"Brother, do you know Bina."
"Yes."

"I think someone touched her crystal. Poor her, I feel so bad for her."

Xavier froze at his place. Now he remembered what happened last night and how Bina pushed him away when he touched her crystal.

"Why so?"

"Brother, if someone touches their crystal, they are married to that person. It seemed like someone touched her crystal without her permission and now she is bound with him. I hope that person is not evil.
What will she do if he is evil and tried to abuse her? She looks cold but she is a very good person. She always care about others."

Saya looked worried while Xavier could not understand a word she was saying.

"Married? How could it be?
Marriage is not such simple thing and how can just be bounded to someone because they touched her crystal."

He looked worried and felt bad hoping it's not true what Saya has said.
