Gloria smiled as she watched Paul who was sleeping next to her. Last night, he slept late and she did not want to wake him up. She got up from the bed and covered him with the warm quilt before freshing and leaving the room.
She went to meet the queen as it became a duty to her.
When she reached there, Saya was already sitting in front of the queen with a cup of tea in front of her.

"Don't get sick again. You should focus on your health." The queen told Saya who nodded while Gloria sat with Saya before she greeted the queen.

(Now, we have to sit here and listen to her lectures) Gloria smiled as a maid poured her a cup of tea.

"The palace looks boring these days." Niomi smiled.."Why don't we go on a picnic? What do you two say? I am really looking forward to spend some time with my daughter in laws."
(I can't believe this. My sons deserve so much better than a werewolf and a human. Alas....)

"That's a good idea, mother." Gloria smiled back and Saya blinked as she stared at Gloria in disbelief.
(When did you start calling her mother? You are asking for your death)

Niomi forced a smile on her face.
(Mother....huh? She dared to think I will accept a lowly werewolf like her. She is even worse than this lowly weak human.)

Saya picked her cup and took a sip trying to ignore the fact that the other two woman were throwing daggers at each other while smiling.

Suddenly a maid came near Saya and informed her about Bina who was looking for her.

"Oh, I forgot to tell her about this. I will be out in sometime. Kindly tell her to wait for me."

Saya respectfully spoke to the maid and Niomi had to admit that Saya indeed had good manners but it also made her realize what type of her younger son was. Totally arrogant.
She always wanted a daughter. Someone who will be pretty and she will buy cute dresses for her. May be a witch just like her.
But lycans don't have girls. So, she always knew there will never be a little baby girl in her life.

But now looking at Saya, she wondered what type of her childhood was.

"Who is waiting for you outside?" Niomi asked Saya as the maid left while Saya did not know what to say.

"I heard Prince Yifang hired a bodyguard for you. It must be her." Gloria came to her help and Saya nodded quickly.

"Yes, yes. It's her."

At the same time, the maid again entered the room. She reached near Saya and leaned closer to her to say something while Saya coughed nervously.

"I will be out soon." She told the maid and Niomi stopped the maid. She ordered the maid to call Bina in.

(Let me see who this bodyguard of hers. These days, a lot of things are hidden from me in this palace.)

Few minutes passed when Bina entered the room. The first thing Niomi saw was the purple in the middle of her eyebrows. It was a diamond shaped crystal that gave a unique look to her face.

Niomi stared at her in disbelief. There was a crystal witch in the palace and she was not aware of this.

"You..."

She could not say anything more while Bina only glanced at her. She then gave a nod as she greeted her but still stayed quiet.

"Wah, is this an accessory? It looks so real. Can I touch it?"

Gloria was astonished to see her and raised her hand while Niomi squinted her eyes.

"Don't touch her crystal."

She ordered Gloria who blinked feeling the order in the tone while Bina only glanced at Niomi.
Gloria pulled her hand back and sat there silently.

After an hour, everyone left while Niomi was sitting silently. Bina was one of her people and after seeing her, she was feeling strange emotions.

"She has a purple crystal and she is protecting Saya. Why?
What it has to do with her?
Why that human is important?
Is she related to the prophecy?"

Niomi had a lot of questions but there was no one who could answer her questions right now except Bina.

"Our crystal is very important to us so we can't let anyone just touch it.
Only our fated person is allowed to touch this crystal."
Bina told Gloria in an emotionless voice while Gloria felt bad.

"I am sorry, I was not aware of that. It just, it made me want to touch it."

She explained herself as she apologized while Bina accepted her apology while Saya wanted to know more.

In their world, there was no such thing. Mate or fate, nothing like this. But they believed in destiny and true love.

"When our fated one touch our crystal, it changes it's color and if we stay away from them, we lose our powers."
She added making both of them nod while Saya felt strange.

"This seems like some story in a novel."

Gloria chuckled softly.

"I know it is unbelievable for you but there are many people who find their mates or their fated ones in humans. That's why neutral land was formed for those interracial couples and I think neutral land is the most peaceful and loving place among the whole world."

Saya remembered her one trip to the neutral land and that was when she met Yifang. It was a sweet memory to her.

May be she was fated to Yifang too.

Later, after the dinner, she was waiting for Yifang who when entered the room, suddenly wanted to tease her.

"Prince Yifang, I need to...." Saya could not complete her sentence as she was thrown in the bed and was topped by Yifang who sealed her mouth with his and crushed her under his weight.

Saya cried trying to push his away. She could feel her bones about to break under his weight.

And that was the moment when. she realized that Yifang was not a blessing to her but more like a curse. He was not a gift but a punishment to her.

"Moveee...."

She was able to push him away but was still in his arms.

"You haven't taken your gift yet."
He remembered and Saya stopped pushing him.

"My gift!"

"Yes, I still have it."

Yifang moved away and went to the wardrobe where he hid the small box. He came back and sat on the end near Saya and showed her the box.

"Here..."

He opened the box and there were two rings. These were made of gold and had nothing on them. No design, no nothing.

"You wanted a ring so I bought you. Now you can feel like you are married to me."

He took out a ring and put it in Saya's finger while Saya could feel her face turning red.

"Ah, don't be horny." Yifang clicked his tongue as the room filled with the scent of roses while Saya smiled and touched the ring. She felt the coldness of the ring and Yifang smiled seeing her as if she found the greatest treasure of this world.

"What about the other one?"

"This one." Yifang picked the other ring.
"This is for me. You said, both the humans wear it so I decided why not. "

He shrugged the shoulders while Saya chuckled and held his hand. She looked happy over the small gesture from Yifang while Yifang intertwined their fingers and rubbed his thumb over the back of her hand.

"This succubus is seduced very easily." He laughed feeling the rosy scent lingering around him while Saya wanted to hide somewhere but her hand was in Yifang's grip and she could do nothing.

"Cute..."

Yifang admitted and then freed her hand.

"And there is one more thing."
He picked the ring and showed the inner side to Saya where her same was engraved.
"It's my name."

"Yes, it is.
Your ring and mine too."

He told her who quickly took off her ring and looked in the inner side where Yifang's name was glowing. A smile appeared on her lips.

"Prince Yifang, you are quite romantic."

She admitted and Yifang pinched her cheek.

"Of course I am.
Just wait once the curse is over an then I will show you how romantic I can be."

He winked at her who blinked and then turned red as she hid her face in her palms. The gesture was too cute for Yifang and he could not hold himself anymore. He pulled her onto his lap and hugged her tightly.

"This little princess should only love me or else this world is going to burn." He whispered in her ear softly.
