Bella struggled to free herself from the grasp of those holding her but couldn't until she was dragged into an empty classroom at the far end of the school and was thrown unceremoniously across the room
"What are you doing? Let me go, I already apologized to you"
Big Sam snarled as he cracked his knuckles, "The day I'll let you go is the day that you'll leave this college but until then, you've caught my attention and I'm gonna teach you how not to mess with me ever again"
"This college isn't yours and you can't force me to leave"
"I see that you're quite the stubborn type" Big Sam replied and signaled that his friends wait for him outside while he handled her himself, "no one can save you from me here, it's just you and I"
"You're so mean, you're happy that everyone fears you but let me tell you, you're not feared because you're respected, rather you're feared because you're a monster"
Big Sam help her throat, "I'll show you what a monster is" he raised his other hand to hit her and she closed her eyes and waited for it but it wasn't coming, suddenly she felt him leave her throat and she opened her eyes to see him sprawled on the floor while she sucks in some air.
She heard footsteps and slowly turned to see a man, all dressed in a black leather suit with a mask, and her heart raised in fear
"Who are you? Please let me go, I beg of you" she pleaded but the man was not paying attention to her, his gaze was rather pinned on Big Sam who was rolling on the floor
"Didn't your mama teach you not to hit a lady?" He asked in a raspy whisper and he walked closer to Big Sam, who was shamelessly moving backward in order to get away from him
"I'm sorry, I promised that it won't happen again" Big Sam pleaded as the masked man went to where he was sprawled and stepped on his hand. Big Sam screamed in pain but the man made not attempt to remove his feet
"If you ever touch her again, I'll come back for you and I promise to kill you" the masked man warned in a raspy voice that Bella couldn't quite place
Big Sam shuddered in the face of such a threat but he tried not to look intimidated, "Who are you and what do you care?"
"I am the king of the underworld and I can make your life so miserable if I want to" he replied in that raspy voice of his and Bella's eyes widened
The king of the underworld is Nikolai Klaus, why would he save her and how did he know that she was in danger?
"What do you want from me?" Big Sam asked the fear he was feeling evident in his eyes and the tone of his voice
"Do not bother that young lady ever again or you'll answer to me" he warned and then standing up, he offered Bella his hands.
Bella was too dazed to take his hands and she just stared at him, "Well? Are you coming or not?" He rasped jolting her from her trance and she slowly took his hand
"This is the famous Nikolai Klaus, the king of the underworld, although, she wasn't seeing his face but this body is certainly not the body of her boss in the office, they are different people," she thought
"Are you alright, Miss?" He rasped again and she nodded
"T.. thank you for saving me" she stuttered, too disconcerted by his presence, "how did you know that I was here?"
"I was in the school to check out some irregularities happening in the school and I saw you being taken here and decided to check it out. I'm glad I did"
Bella nodded, "I'm glad you did too. Thank you very much, Mr. Klaus"
She saw the corner of his mouth twitch, he was putting on a face mask that didn't quite cover his lips so she was able to see his attempted smile. She stared at his caramel-colored eyes and fought a strange feeling of deja vu that his eyes looked like Daniel's, but she scoffed inwardly at the thought, Her husband wouldn't waste his precious time coming to this college let alone rescuing her, he would care less about her and that thought suddenly made her feel agitated inside
"Are you okay? You suddenly look agitated" he asked and she shook her head and smiled brightly at him
"I suddenly thought about something that made me feel that way but I am okay and thanks once again for saving me"
"You can consider me your guardian angel" he dipped his hand in his pocket and brought out a blank card that held just a number, "call this number whenever you are in trouble and I will come to your rescue"
Bella stared at the number he had given her and when next she raised her head to stare at him, he was gone.
Bella walked back towards her class, she'll just get her things and leave, she didn't have any more lectures for today anyway and thanks to Big Sam, she had missed her classes.
"Oh Bella, thank goodness that you're okay, I was worried sick" Brittany came running towards her and hugged her, "I'm so sorry, I should not have advised you to come to this college, that way you wouldn't have met Big Sam"
"You don't need to feel guilty, people like Big Sam are in all schools, so if not Big Sam, it could be someone else"
"How did you get out, I was desperate, so I called your husband"
Bella was surprised, "And what did he say?" She asked
"He wasn't answering his call, so I texted him what's going on with you"
Bella shook her head, typical of her husband not to answer her calls, she wouldn't be surprised if he had gone to wherever he always goes and didn't want to talk to her, "it doesn't matter Brittany, I was saved, and guess who saved me?"
Brittany narrowed her eyes in curiosity as she stared at Bella, "Spill it out girl, who did? I honestly thought that your husband would come for you, I mean I even texted him the address"
"My husband is simply like that, ours is not a marriage of love I must confess but I'm glad because I finally met the king of the underworld today, he saved me"
"What! Nikolai Klaus?" Brittany's head spun as she gazed at her friend, "but what's he doing here?"
"He said he was here to check out some irregularities in the college and saw when Big Sam was dragging me off and decided to check it out, oh my goodness Brittany, he's such a gentleman and I couldn't stop staring at him, even though he was putting on a mask, I could tell that he is very handsome"
Brittany chuckled and the both girls started going home while chatting, "Don't you even think about it, you're married remember?"
"Oh Brittany, I remembered but I couldn't help myself, he's so handsome but for a while, he gave me a strange feeling, like I have seen him before"
"That's not possible, Nikolai Klaus is not someone that could be easily seen and you are very lucky to have seen him. Now, I wish that I was the one in Big Sam's clutches instead of you"
"Don't even think about it, it was horrible and I am glad that Big Sam will never disturb me again, all thanks to Nikolai Klaus".

Bella was surprised to see Daniel at home when she got there, "what are you doing here?" She asked and he raised a brow at her
"What do you mean? I live here remember"
"I mean, you're at home all this time and just decided not to pick up my calls?"
"Is there any particular reason why I should have picked up that call? Besides, I thought that you were in college"
"I got into trouble with someone but thankfully, Nikolai Klaus was there to save me"
"Nikolai Klaus, how come he was there in your college"
"He was there to check some irregularities in my college but ended up saving me. He is such a gentleman and so handsome plus he was there right when I needed him"
"I see, so you've finally met the person you admire so much in person, I'm glad that he didn't disappoint you"
"Of course not, Nikolai Klaus is not the kind of man that can disappoint someone, he is so eloquent and always there whenever I need him, he is just so cool"
"Be careful wifey, the way you talked about him makes me think that you just might like him way too much for a married woman"
"Of course not" Bella argued hotly and stomped off.
Daniel smiled in amusement as he sipped his coffee, his situation was becoming very interesting and he must say that he was enjoying every bit of it. It will be great to see who his wife will choose between Daniel Calvin and Nikolai Klaus.
