“You want me to give you a bath again?” I repeated. My flushed face resembled a beetroot by now. What did he exactly mean by me being in the tub to scrub him? I wasn’t a child who couldn’t understand indirect flirting. However, when the person doing it was Nathan, there was little room for misinterpretation.
Also, the previous time, he was serious about receiving a bath and slightly annoyed at my inability to properly hold a loofah. I cringed when the memory of dropping that on his crotch flashed before my eyes. He must have gotten the wrong idea of my non-existent lust for him from there. I lifted my eyes in surprise. “You are okay with counting this as the second test?” Though I acted innocently, I wanted to hear a yes.
Nathan walked up to the bathtub and entered it without waiting for it to fill to the top. He put his arms on the sides and closed his eyes.
“You didn’t answer my question,” I repeated.
He opened his eyes and reached for my hand. “Come inside and bathe me if you want to find out.”
My heart pounded so heavily that I was afraid he might hear it. That was it! If I entered that tub, he would have sex with me right there and then. Did I want that so soon? Yes! I screamed inside.
