Chapter 61 MINUS ONE(2)
Chapter 61 MINUS ONE(2)
BACK AT THE PENTHOUSE, POOLSIDE
Bianca hummed a soft tune as she walked toward the penthouse pool. She had discarded her silk robe, leaving her completely naked as she approached the water’s edge.
She descended the pool steps and immersed herself slowly, the water rippling around her waist. She smiled, a triumphant, possessive smile.
Her hand went immediately to her flat belly, caressing the skin beneath the surface.
"I'm sure I'm with child already," she whispered to the quiet pool, the conviction in her voice absolute. "I remembered him releasing in me. Damn, I’m not satisfied with that sx,I want more"
She leaned back, resting her head against the cool tiling, lost in her fantasy. A baby would secure her position forever and irrevocably destroy Aurora.
"I will name the baby Fernando if it's a boy," she decided, her eyes shining with greed and delight. "And the girl, Bella. I can't wait!"
She closed her eyes, basking in the imagined future where she was the undeniable wife and mother, and Aurora was just a ghost.
A soft, almost imperceptible sound of footsteps stirred Bianca from her reverie. She opened her eyes, annoyance flickering across her face.
She looked up to see Aurora standing by the poolside, wearing a facecap that shadowed her eyes, her lips curved into a devilish smile. She was back.
"Oh, you're back," she drawled, a cruel laugh escaping her. "I thought you ran off because you couldn't handle the heat. Why don't you get lost and leave me to enjoy my rightful husband?"
Aurora didn't say a word. Her smile only widened, unsettling in its silence.
"Cat got your tongue?" Bianca taunted, reveling in the silence, convinced she had won. "Nothing to say to the woman who just slept with your husband?"
Aurora’s eyes, shadowed by the cap, seemed to glitter with a cold, terrifying light. "Any last words?" she simply asked, her voice low and steady, completely devoid of emotion.
"Huh?" Bianca scoffed, caught off guard by the unexpected question. "What are you talking about?"
"Good" Aurora responded, her smile turning predatory.
Then, the unexpected happened.
Aurora moved her hand, pushing a small, almost invisible button on the side of the pool deck.
A sudden, sharp spark erupted from the water around Bianca.
Bianca's eyes widened in terror as the current surged through the pool. A piercing scream tore from her throat as her body spasmed violently, electrocuting her in the water.
Her body thrashed wildly in the water, every muscle contracting against the electrocution, her naked form convulsing violently as the current wracked her.
Aurora stood utterly still, her posture rigid, watching the horrifying spectacle. The shattered look from the night before was gone, replaced by a cold, frightening satisfaction. Her shadowy smile never faltered as Bianca’s desperate, gurgling cries ripped through the air.
Aurora looked down at the violently spasming woman, the fantasy of a son named Fernando and a daughter named Bella ending abruptly.
"Go deliver that fantasy baby in heaven" Aurora stated simply, utterly devoid of mercy.
Without a backward glance at the dying figure thrashing in the electrified pool, Aurora turned on her heel and walked off the pool deck.
After leaving Bianca to her fate in the pool, Aurora swiftly changed and headed to the main lounge.
Everyone was there: Ace, Vixen, Maya, Storm, Axe, Blade, Scarlett, Sylvia, and Rosa. The only person missing was Matteo.
Aurora stood before them, a chilling, composed figure. Her facecap was gone, revealing eyes that were cold and sharp.
"Bianca is gone," Aurora announced simply, cutting straight to the point. She offered no explanation, and the certainty in her voice dared no one to ask.
"I will take up the job she couldn’t accomplish. It's time to get serious and do what we came here for. It starts officially tomorrow and..."
"Who are you to sit us down and talk for the Boss?" Viper interrupted instantly.
"You're not the Boss"
The air in the lounge froze.
Before anyone could react, Aurora moved. In the blink of an eye, she was at Viper's side.
Her hand shot out, wrapping around Viper's throat. Aurora's grip was instantly iron-tight. The pressure was immense, cutting off all airflow and all sound from Viper's mouth.
Viper clawed desperately at Aurora's arm, her face turning a ghastly shade of red as oxygen was denied. She quickly collapsed to her knees, choking, her eyes wide with shock and the dawning realization of death. The scene was visceral and terrifying.
Aurora held her there, her face inches from Viper's.
"Do you wish to die?" Aurora asked, her voice a low, dangerous whisper that carried clearly through the silent room.
Viper couldn't speak, couldn't breathe. She could only blink 'no' which was a frantic, desperate movement of her eyes.
With a final, contemptuous shove, Aurora released her. Viper fell, gasping and hacking violently, her throat convulsing as she fought to pull air back into her lungs.
Aurora stood over her, completely unmoved by the dramatic collapse. She addressed the entire room, her voice now a clear, final declaration of authority.
"Anyone else to defy me?"
No one spoke.
Then, a voice broke the tension. It was Blade, who had watched the entire confrontation with cold fascination.
"You know I'm always with you" Blade stated simply.
The declaration broke the dam of silence.
"Me too" Axe rumbled.
"We go when you say" Storm added.
Scarlett gave a slow, elegant nod. Rosa mirrored her.
"Good!" Aurora said, her face holding a look of fierce, cold satisfaction.
She didn't waste another moment as she turned and walked out of the lounge, heading back toward her suite still ignoring calls and texts from Matteo.
"I'm coming home now!" Was his last text.
