Bella's eyes narrowed down in annoyance,"What do you mean? You are the father so you must know how to interact with her. Don't tell me Caspar that you scared her on her first meeting? Did you?"
"Yes," Caspar shamelessly admitted. "I did get angry because that time I thought she was not my daughter and—"
"Enough," Bella stopped him from talking further. "Don't ask me anything! I have no answers for you."
"But..."Caspar was stunned into silence by her, she probably got reminded of the things he said when he locked her up.
She turned her face away from him and her eyes caught the crazy sight of Alex taking out his iPad and asking Siri,"Hey Siri, can you tell us how a father should interact with his toddler daughter who he kidnapped once?"
Seriously? Bella looked so done after hearing his stupid question to the AI assistant. And surprisingly Siri replied exactly what she had in her mind.
"Smile. Look approachable and offer sweets."
Alex nodded and showed his thump of confidence to Caspar as if he had achieved something big.
"Yes, I understand now," Caspar said as a satisfied smile pulled up his lips. "Alex, go and get me something that can make my face look approachable and yeah buy all the varieties of candies. I'm sure Black City has it!"
"Yes, boss on it."
"Wait," Erick stepped forward. "I'll tag along as well."
Two of them ran out in a hurry and Bella looked at Olivier. She was speechless, stomping her heels in annoyance, she shouted,"Brother, put that fucking gun away. You don't want to start a murder show, right?"
"I'm sorry."
He quickly hides his gun back in his pants holster belt, and Vincent finally brings Karina to them. And the first thing she did was point at Caspar,"Uncle, that is bad man. He beat my mother and locked me up with more bad men. They all disturbed me and forced me to play with kid's toys!"
Caspar and other members of the meeting flinched after listening to the cutesy voice of Karina. She was just 2 years and 6 months old yet she could speak clearly but couldn't walk properly. They all couldn't take their eyes off Bella's daughter, her genes were so powerful and beautiful.
Karina's presence in the meeting vanished the rumors of her being a bastard child since her features were mainly dominated by Caspar's genes. She inherited Bella's only golden blonde hair.
"Please, get this bad man out. Uncle I want him gone," Karina mumbled as she pulled Vincent's mustache in irritation.
Caspar looked at Bella, indirectly asking her for the way to convince Karina however she was too tired to say anything. She took her seat, letting him and her brother deal with her daughter.
"Come here my baby niece, "Olivier takes Karina from Vincent's arm and makes her sit on his lap. However she climbed on the table and crawled to the seat of Caspar.
"Get out of here bad man," everyone gasped in shock, they never thought that the Boss of Darz group would be humiliated by his own daughter. She continued making him guilty, "Leave. Otherwise, my uncle will teach you a lesson."
"Karina, stop it. He's your father,"Bella interrupted. "Be respectful and say sorry. And he didn't hit me, okay?"
The toddler paid no heed to her mother and mumbled, "You are lying, right?"
"She's not lying. You are my daughter and I'm marrying your mother again. So call me dad."
Caspar's words made his toddler daughter mad. She looked dead into his eyes and opened her mouth wide.
DISASTER.
She started crying, deafening everyone's ears. The more Caspar tried to calm her down, the bigger her mouth opened, and the louder her crying became.
"Bella, your daughter cries just like you!" Olivier teased her even in situations like this.
A few minutes later, Alex and Erick arrived wearing joker masks. Forwarding one mask to Caspar they suggested,"This mask is trending among the kids these days. Please wear it!"
He hesitated no further and wore it before Karina slapped him. "I'm not an immature kid. I know how to interact with adults!"
"Karina!" Bella gasped and Olivier gasped and started laughing right after.
This bickering continued and later on Karina agreed, however she still was wary of Caspar.
The meeting ended with Bella becoming the sub-judge of the Black City judiciary and nobody in the board of members objected. Caspar told Bella their marriage date which was in a week and who will be attending.
After staying two more days in Black City, Bella returns to New York with Caspar and their daughter. Olivier was hesitant to let his sister leave so he sent Vincent and his other soldiers as bodyguards to her. He has doubts that Caspar's father might do something. And his hunch was true, his parents did not welcome her.
"Caspar, what is this? Erick told me that you went to meet your ex-wife?" His mother Victoria Mcadam scowled. Her eyes were cold and scanning Bella and her daughter up and down.
"Mother, calm down. It was in the past, I have started a new married life with my wife and daughter. So you should—"
"No," his mother interrupted him in the middle of his sentence. "We can not give our blessings to you. Also we do not approve of her, she's not worthy of becoming the daughter-in-law of our family. Where is Nancy?"
"I have divorced her!" Caspar coldly replied which triggered his father, Alden.
He rose from the sofa and walked forth,"What did you say?"
"I divorced her, my marriage with her was contractual so stop mentioning her name in front of my wife."
Caspar's firm declaration left his father in shock. They couldn't believe he was marrying the woman who attempted to kill him once.
"You woman," his father shouted as he pointed at Bella and her daughter. "Get out of here, return back to your brother and live there. Also take your daughter with you, we will pay the child support in bulk."
"Father, that's enough," Caspar lost his temper. "How could you be so harsh and not realize why this all happened?"
"I don't care about the past. I had my reasons for killing her brother, I'm just disappointed in the assassins who failed their task and her brother survived..."
Bella couldn't contain herself, she handed Karina to Caspar and said, "I see. Thank you for revealing your intentions so early. I'm capable enough to take care of my husband, and my daughter, we don't need your child support whatsoever."
She then turned to Caspar and holding his hand, she said, "Let's return to Saint Petersburg. You don't need to live under the dictatorship of your father. They don't care about your feelings and happiness."
She understands that the position of Mcadam Group's chairman was still in the hands of Alden Mcadam. Caspar was just CEO of a branch of a multimedia company under the Mcadam group. His father could easily kick him out of his position if he disobeyed his orders.
When Bella said to leave, Caspar hesitated no further. He followed Bella and allowed her to take the lead this time. Yes, he lost his position as Ceo but he still was the Boss of one of the feared groups of the underworld.
After long hours of flight, when they arrived at the villa of Saint Petersburg, Olivier ran out. He was too surprised and welcomed them with a broad smile, and Bella told him whatever happened with Caspar's family.
At first, Olivier wanted to destroy the Mcadam family's business for insulting his sister, however Bella asked him otherwise. She told him that after the marriage, Olivier should get back the Dior group's companies and assets which were acquired by Mcadam, thus benefiting chairman Alden.

A week later, Bella got married again to Caspar and news channels burst with headlines. But they cared less about the news headlines and planned on bringing their second baby to the world.
Amidst everything going on, Bella wanted to meet her parents who were locked in the basement jail of Hawkins headquarters in Black City. She scheduled the date and time, and decided to go by herself as Caspar was busy with his daughter. They have become close and Karina now plays a lot with him.
"Are you sure? I think you should reconsider meeting them when you are pregnant, Bella," Olivier expressed his concern as they arrived at the entrance gate to the basement jail. "They will be no better than Caspar's parents!"
"I still want to meet him, I have many questions for them," she insisted on meeting them.
Olivier couldn't win against her and was escorted to the cell of her parents. Unlocking, they both entered inside and saw their parents staring at someone's portrait.
Upon closure, Bella noticed that it was their family portrait which included Olivier. Her eyes teared up and she started regretting her decision to meet them.
Fiona, Bella's mother heard the footsteps and she raised her face up, her sad eyes brightening up as she ran to hug her daughter.
"Bella, you finally came to see us. Me and your dad were talking about you just now," Fiona said, and Bella couldn't feel any hatred in her voice. "How is my granddaughter? You didn't bring her with you?"
"Mom, what is this?" She jerked Fiona's hands off her arms and distancing herself, she continued,"Why are you suddenly showing affection for me? And you want to know about my daughter so that you both can plan another assassination attack on us!"
Fiona looked at her in disbelief, "Bella... what are you talking about?" She quickly asked, confused with Bella's allegations. "Assassination attack on you?"
"Oh please, stop playing innocent," Bella laughed bitterly. "If you have no idea what I'm talking about, why don't you ask your husband? He was the one who sent countless assassination attacks on me and my daughter. He wanted us dead!"
