Bella's POV.
"Gosh, you're very naughty today," he groans, reaching for the back of my neck and pulling me close to his face.
His hands pressed on my waist as we both closed our distance and touched each other's bodies. He was looking cute in informal attire... Otherwise he was always wearing formal attire with serious expression. At first, I thought I saw a younger version of Caspar but later realized that he was in disguise.
"Seriously, I missed you," I replied softly, bringing my lips to his when suddenly his phone started ringing.
He obviously ignored it and focused back on me, but that damn device kept buzzing so that I got annoyed and pushed Caspar back.
"Answer that fucking call then we can continue," I cursed, crossing my arms across my chest dramatically. I really hated distractions between romantic moments. I rolled my eyes as I blew my hair strands which were lingering on my face.
"Sorry," Caspar murmured before answering the call. "Alex, What? Why are you calling me like there's no tomorrow?" I heard him growling at the person who dared to call him.
I loved his reaction, I thought he would value his personal matters first, however he chose to scold his assistant manager Alex. Hiding my smile, I removed my arms from my chest and sat there quietly.
"Boss, did you forget that you were supposed to attend the concert today?" I heard Alex's anxious voice from the other side of the call.
"Which concert?" Caspar asked, and I became curious too because I never knew Caspar was interested in music concerts or anything related to idols.
"Wow," I could imagine Alex rolling his eyes at Caspar. "You were the one who asked me yesterday to remind you about the MMO concert. Now you're acting like I'm trying to disturb your important time."
"MMO’s concert?" I repeated, getting up from my seat. Snatching the phone from Caspar's hand, I asked Alex about the MMO concert.
"Oh president, it's nothing but an idol group of three girls who are funded by KING broadcasting company," Alex replied. "And Boss received the invitation ticket from the idol group's leader so he asked me to remind him of his schedule for attending the concert."
I turned back and stared blankly at my husband's face. He was uncomfortable for some reason and I really wanted to ask why. But I suppressed my curiosity and assured Alex not to worry about the concert since Caspar would be attending it with me.
"I understand, have a great time together." With that, Alex ended the call and I threw the phone on the sofa. I sat down on my desk with my legs crossed and looked at Caspar, waiting for him to continue what we were doing before the damn call interrupted us.
However he sighed and flopped on the sofa, massaging the gap between his brows he retorted, "You must be wondering why I'm suddenly interested in idol groups?"
Oh c'mon, I managed to suppress my curiosity into asking this exact question and now he is trying to make me anxious again. Tilting my head I shrugged off my shoulders. "If you insist on telling me then go on. I'm eagerly waiting for your explanation."
"Yes," he nodded and continued telling how he wasn't aware that a rookie idol group of three girls were training under his company for five years. They never got a chance to debut officially so the group's leader started doing small roles in movies and dramas.
"Okay darling, it's not your fault that they didn't debut. It's the company's managing director's fault, "I tried to make him understand after seeing his tensed facial expressions.
"No, the managing director who was at fault was fired this year by Alex and Lorence was hired."
"Okay, so why are you worried now?" I couldn't understand his thoughts and words.
He began, "Nancy, the leader of the group who gave me the ticket for the concert."
Oh, a girl's name, now I'm very much interested. I focused on his conversation and found out that he met Nancy accidentally on the subway bus. Caspar recognized her because she was the one who auditioned for the female lead role in 'Ancient Love of Gods' drama. I stroked my chin in thought.
'Should I get worried about my husband? Wait up– why should I get worried or jealous about this? Caspar isn't someone who will cheat on me!'
I brushed off unnecessary assumptions and with a smile I asked him, "So are we going or not?"
"I haven't attended any concerts in New York. Let's go together."
"Are you alright? Baby, I can explain everything to you everything. There's nothing going on between me and her...she just happened to take the same bus as mine and I–"
"Gosh, Caspar," I scoffed dramatically as I walked to him. Placing my hand on the sofa, I leaned close to his face and smiled, "I know. And I'm completely fine because she's an artist at your company. It's natural for you to talk with her and attend her concert. Why are you making a big deal out of it?"
"Oh I was just worried," he awkwardly replied, distancing himself from me.
Okay! That kinda offended me. But he immediately turned back and apologised which made my thoughts twisted. I decided not to complicate things because he was panicking. Very unlike him or I still don't know about him completely.
After a few moments of silence, I called Maria and asked her to order a high-brand suit for Caspar. And as expected she glared at him.
"Maria," I pressed my voice coldly to remind her of her place. "Hurry up because we are going to attend an important concert. Don't you let me down."
"Pardon my ignorance," she apologized and hurriedly left the office room.
After a half hour, she entered the office with Mrs Edward, the owner of 'Style' mall which sells expensive brands of clothes. She greeted me and Caspar with a polite voice before calling her assistants inside with the clothing racks.
I sat down in my seat because there was nothing for me to do. Caspar began choosing himself a nice suit and to my surprise, he was familiar with Mrs Edward.
About 20 minutes later, Caspar asked, "I'm ready. Let's go."
"Yeah."
We walked out of my office, getting inside the elevator. I dialed Victor's number.
"Hello, Victor. Are you with Lucifer? Have you sent him carefully to the villa?" I asked, nibbling my lower lip anxiously.
"Yes, Boss. He's now reading the script for rehearsals. I assure you not to worry about him since he knows what he's doing," Victor explained to me and I ended the call.
Today at the auditions for the male lead of the drama, Lucifer appeared for the audition. I was surprised and baffled by his presence and the CV he submitted was not fabricated at all. It was shocking to realize one of my assassins has mastered acting in films & television. And I was so impressed by his acting and delivery of dialogues that I had to give him a chance.
'I can imagine my dad's face when he finds out that the male lead of S+ drama is Lucifer, a shadow assassin of my guild. He will go crazy,' I smiled at myself.
It was just a crazy thought that I couldn't hold my happiness. Casper noticed me and commented,"Who was on the call that made your face bloom like a red rose?"
"Oh, you're exaggerating. He was my secretary and I'm smiling because of other things."
"Well okay," he said and held my wrist. Pulling me close, he walks out of the elevator.
The driver quickly opened the car's door as soon as he saw us arriving. Getting inside, Caspar started kissing my hand. I saw his lips pressing against my hand, the way he licked and then stared at me with those hypnotizing eyes. I was about to melt under his gaze and allow him to do all kinds of nasty things when suddenly I realized that we were not alone.
The driver and the bodyguard who were going with us were awkwardly maintaining their composure. I pulled my hand from Caspar's grasp and turned my face towards the car's window.
Only for me to notice the fleet of black cars following ours. I panicked and asked Caspar about it.
He relaxed in his seat as he said, "Those are bodyguards. You were not expecting that we would go all alone to such a crowded concert, were you?"
"Well, I thought you were not bringing bodyguards since you came by subway to my company..."
"That was casual me but now I'm dressed up and attending the concert as CEO of Mcadam Group," he chuckled, mocking me.
"Enough."

8: 00 pm, we arrived at the MMO concert, which was held in the North Stadium. The stadium was owned by KING Broadcasting Company. It was so big and the amount of ads running on billboards was just insane. I happened to catch a glimpse of three girls who were in an MMO group. They were pretty and beautiful, no wonder they were getting the attention that they deserved.
"Let's go, Bella."
I nodded and placed my hand around his right arm and we walked inside through the VIP entrance. The bodyguards guarded around us as we got inside. I sat down beside Caspar and looked around...
All the seats were empty in the VIP seat arrangements, curious I whispered, "Why is no one coming here?"
"Because I booked all the VIP seats."
So he had already booked all the VIP seats for the concert and was going to attend by himself. Why do I feel uneasy about it? It's natural for him to do so because he's always on guard.
The concert started with the MMO group greeting the audience. And soon they performed their first song... second song...third... fourth....
But I wasn't able to enjoy it because my eyes were fixed on Caspar. He had a proud smile playing on his lips as he kept staring at the stage and clapping for them.
I tried to convince myself that he was just feeling proud of his company's artists and nothing else. Until he went to meet the group after their performance ended.
Of course I followed him and quietly stood there, listening to his conversation with the girls.
"S-Sir... You were the one I gave the ticket to? I can't believe it. I'm so lucky to meet you in person," the super active redhead girl said. She circled her hands around my husband's arm and hugged him.
"Thank you for attending my debut concert, Sir."
Gosh! She was fucking touching my husband. Should I slap her? No. I shouldn't do that because Caspar is very comfortable with her. But I lost my temper when she approached to hug him again...
"Hey, can't you keep your distance from him?" I asked coldly, taking long strides toward her.
"Uhm, who are you?"
When that girl asked this question, I just shared a quick glance at Caspar and rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"Nancy, she's my wife. Greet her because she was the one who wanted to attend your concert."
"Oh... So you were not going to attend if your wife declined?" Nancy asked, her eyes were filled with fake sadness.
"No. We had other plans for tonight which we canceled to attend your concert," Caspar said, he was intentionally letting her know how important I was to him.
No one can be more brutal than Caspar, he literally showed that girl her place. I looked at her, indirectly telling her to keep her delusional imagination to herself. It's not easy to seduce my husband.
Nancy lowered her face and bowed down in front of me, "I-I'm sorry Madam, and I'm grateful for your support. I hope you will keep supporting me."
Suppressing my mockery smile, I nodded and grabbed Caspar's arm. We walked out of the concert and I finally managed to ask him my most awaited question.
"I heard her calling you Xavier... Why would you tell her your codename?"
