Caspar's POV.
"I hope that's the case. I don't want her to hate me or harbor any kind of hurtful feelings against me. It will only pain me," I mumbled, joining my hands together in guilt
Olivier was 15 when he first joined DarZ group as an executioner. That time my father was the boss and I was just 11, busy with my schoolings. I don't know what motivated Olivier to take such steps of becoming an executioner whose main job is killing the captured captives. However, that guy was somewhat nice to me and used to offer me chocolates...
But I was scared of him as he continued taking his job seriously... He was an intimidating young man and I still remember that long scar on his pale face, stretching from his right eye to his cheek. And something remarkable about his appearance was that his eyes were different colored: Blue and brown.
While his hair was long straight black which he used to keep braided loosely in a Viking-style ponytail.
' I'm sure there's more to the story of Olivier and why he had joined DarZ when his father was a business tycoon and Mafia Lord of the French mob,' I thought, recalling the past incidents of Olivier.
I don't really remember when he was promoted to underboss position. But I know for sure that he was assassinated right after I was rescued from the kidnappers.
"Boss, you shouldn't think about the past," Alex interrupted me and added," From my background research on Olivier, I found out he was not favored by his father, Chairman Austin. And that was the very reason Olivier left the family and joined the DarZ mob group."
"Like brother, like sister. Both of them are rebellious siblings who don't bother to follow in their father's footsteps," I scoffed, a dry laugh escaped from my lips.
Fixing his glasses Alex reads something in his tablet before abruptly replying," And there's also something else which made chairman Austin mad at Olivier."
"What else is left?"
"When Olivier started his career as underboss, he used to visit his younger sister, Madam Bella secretly and gifts her expensive stuff."
"Nothing wrong with my elder brother spoiling his little sister," I shrugged in amusement. I never thought that cold-hearted Olivier had this loving side reserved for his sister only.
Oh no, I forgot about Bella. I hurriedly wore my wristwatch, sprayed cologne and turned to walk out of the room. Before Alex stepped in front of me, blocking my way. Raising my eyebrow in confusion I asked him the reason for his disrespectful behaviour.
"Olivier was not just spoiling his sister... You might want to see this piece of information," Alex answered, forwarding his tablet to me.
Taking it from his hand, I sat down on the bed and scrolled through the PDF document of Oliver's will. This was unexpected. Olivier has already formatted his will saying that he wants all his shares in his father's company given to Bella after his death. I read further and learned that all the casinos, villas and mansions owned by Oliver were put under Bella's name after his death.
"This is very genuine and hard-core love between siblings. Also why did I feel like Olivier knew he was going to die? Otherwise, why would he hurriedly format a will at such a young age!"
"You're right, Boss. I think we should investigate into death of Olivier once again. There's something we don't know yet," Alex suggested and I agreed.
I gave up on my idea of meeting Bella and headed to the headquarters of DarZ group.

1:30 am, the Night City 'Arora' fleet of black Mercedes arrived at the 'Flame Casino.' One of the casinos which was once owned by Oliver, but now it was under Bella's name.
'Was she aware of her brother's will?' I thought as I stepped out of the car. Now that I think about it... Wasn't she trying to invest in the production of 'Ancient Love of Gods' drama?'
Seriously, how could I get so swayed by love so that I turned into a fool? Sighing over, I entered the casino with Alex and other bodyguards followed me. I had my mask on since the customers of such grand casinos are usually high-class people. They would recognize me immediately without a mask and ruin my plan.
Alex booked the suite and we arrived inside the room while bodyguards guarded outside my suite.
"Boss, why are we here?" The most obvious question from Alex I was expecting.
"Nothing, just for time to pass. I want to relax for a week and do nothing," I carelessly answered, a smirk slipped over my lips making Alex confused and irritated.
However, he said nothing and ordered a few non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. I changed into casual wear and flopped on the cosy bed. Covering myself with the fur blanket I tried to get some sleep.
But I ended up dreaming about Bella. She was leaving me and that scene from the dream woke me up. Panicking, I looked around and then realized that was all just a dream. I noticed the time on the clock which was already 11 past 30.
I took my time to get up leisurely from the bed and shower. Changing into cargo pants and hoodie, I read the note attached on the mirror.
'Boss, don't drink on an empty stomach. Please eat something. I have ordered your breakfast, you can heat them up in the microwave before eating.'
I turned my face and saw the food package.
"Alright, I'll eat."
An hour later, I decided to secretly visit Bella and see what she was doing! She hasn't texted me or called me after our awkward fight.
Covering my neck half face with my turtle-neck sweater and topping my head with the hoodie's cap, I walked out of my suite.
I hoped nobody recognized me in this attire. Feeling proud of myself I got downstairs, whistling nonchalantly until I noticed the crowd's eyes glancing at my direction. Why were they looking at me like that? Do they think I'm some thief just because I'm dressed like this?
My prescription changed when I heard familiar voices,"Boss, why would you stop midway? Do you want us to take care of them?"
