Mr. Bavol jerked violently as he released his grip on Calista's wrist. Callista blinked her eyes. Fear gripped her as she realized the place she was currently standing, was dimly lit and connected to a river that was only blocked by a guardrail.
Callista walked backward as the man in front of her continued to step forward toward her.
"What do you want?!" shouted Callista in frustration.
One of his eyebrows shot up. He was pleased to see that the girl in front of him was getting more and more aggressive.
"What do I want? I just want to taste your body, pretty girl," replied Mr. Bavol with a sly grin. He quickly walked over and immediately pulled Callista's waist.
Callista was disgusted with this position. Her palms tried to push Mr. Bavol away with all their might. She felt very humiliated to be in the arms of this arrogant man.
"Let go! Let go!"
Mr. Bavol shook his head. "No, beautiful. Give up your refusal to attract much attention from me. It's about time you got the fruits of your labor."
Callista shook her head. She felt very scared. Was she going to end up like this? Was she in the hands of this jerk? What would she do when she became a dirty girl?
A single teardrop fell from its resting place. Forming a trail on her cheek. "Kenward, please save me. Come immediately," Callista thought to herself as she could think of no other way.
The bloated man in front of her was instantly knocked down by the kick that flew for him. Callista suddenly turned her body around and ran behind Kenward. Kenward, who saw the tear tracks on Callista's cheeks, darkened even more. A huge amount of oil was poured on the flames in his heart.
Kenward walked up to the jerk who dared to take his property. He firmly grabbed the man's shirt.
"You're out of your mind," Kenward said in such a low tone that it sounded like a whisper.
That pair of eyes gave off a deadly aura. His eyebrows fused with his hardened jaw. His right hand moved so fast that it looked like an invisible movement. He held the pointed object in his hand a little higher and then stuck it straight into the object.
Callista took a few steps back as she witnessed the bloody action. Her palms pressed her lip together with all her might. The unpleasant feelings and memories running through her mind made her want to vomit everything in her stomach.
Kenward stuck his favorite object back in. Letting it get its ration after a long fast. Of course, he would give it a hearty portion.
"Arghh!"
Bloodstained Callista's dress. The bloated man covered his bloodied left eye with a hysterical scream that did not stop. Kenward smiled at the sight. Callista, who had been paying attention, was surprised to find Kenward smiling broadly at the man with the torn eyeball.
Her instinct activated itself which made Callista walk backwards. The alarm sound of danger flashed in her mind. It was the body's instinct to avoid something scary and traumatizing. It was evident by the trembling of Callista's hands on the guardrail.
"No, no, calm down, Illis. Kenward only punishes the right people. He's the one who saved you from what you would have been ashamed of," Callista's heart sank.
The sound of the knife scraping against his skin made her close her eyes tightly. Again, this unstable emotion disrupted her heart. Anxiety about the memories that had passed came to her.
Kenward still had the same smile on his face when his beautiful knife had made a box shape on Mr. Bavol's chest. Fresh meat was immediately displayed in front of him, making his hands itch.
Again, Kenward made a line with a deep cut. Feeling that it was deep enough, Kenward then carelessly threw away his beautiful knife. With a strong pressure, Kenward inserted his naked hand into Mr. Bavol's wound. Getting what he wanted, Kenward immediately pulled it with all his might.
Kenward smirked at the sight of an important organ in his hand. He threw it so far that the heart of the man who had been bothering his eyes sank in the middle of the sea. Reaching for the lying knife, Kenward plunged it into the top of Mr. Bavol's head and sent him crashing into the river.
Callista's legs went limp at the very unusual sight. Kenward's face was covered in blood, while the man had his heart ripped out alive by Kenward. Slowly but surely her breathing became irregular, her chest became tight.
Finishing what he had wanted to do all along, Kenward then turned his body around and walked over to Callista who was crouching down.
"Are you alright, Illis?"
Callista, who had been daydreaming, immediately focused her attention as she inhaled the strong scent of rancor that was approaching. Suddenly she got up and ran away from Kenward. She was so scared, she was so frightened to see that man at that moment.
"Let go!" Callista strongly jerked Kenward's hand that was holding her hand. Kenward, not wanting to hurt Callista, made him lose his grip on the girl.
"You're a cruel murderer." Tears flowed freely again. Her body trembled violently. "You're a murderer! You're a murderer, Kenward!" After shouting out what had been running through her mind, Callista's cries immediately broke out.
Kenward looked sadly at Callista. He pulled her by the arm and immediately took her into his arms. Callista rebelled, but her efforts were unsuccessful as Kenward had exerted all his strength to tighten his grip.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I showed you that. I won't do it again, I'm sorry," promised Kenward who said so sincerely.
Callista gave up trying to rebel. Both hands were raised to return Kenward's embrace. That soft cry was able to cut an invisible wound in Kenward's heart. He felt very guilty for making his girl scared again because of it. He should have gotten rid of the man quietly.
"I'm sorry," Kenward repeated. One of his hands gently stroked the top of Callista's hair. Neither of them cared if the thick red liquid filled their bodies and the rancid scent filled their senses, right now all they needed was reassurance.
Kenward's gaze weakened. He had realized it, this feeling that was growing in his heart was deeply ingrained. He was even made to feel guilty for doing what humans called torture that had kept him going this long. He realized it. It turned out that he became a little changed because of the girl in his arms right now.
