The sun has returned with its beautiful smile. Giving warmth to the earth that it made cold. Coming back to answer the promise it always makes at the same time.
The activity begins again. The emptiness of the street is filled again. The silence of the room gets its voice back. Not only that, the body that needs movement to not be stiff like a statue has gotten its allotment.
In a room that lacked sunlight, there was a girl who was still sleeping comfortably with a blanket wrapped around her body. There was no movement whatsoever until finally, both eyelids opened.
Her right hand stretched out to cover her slightly parted lips. She remained still for a while until she finally sat up. With her throat feeling dry, Callista reached for the glass containing the mineral water and took a sip.
The soft sound of the glass scraping against the surface of the nightstand broke the silence of the room. Callista looked to the side. It was a beautiful start to the morning where she did not see the presence of the psychopathic man nearby.
Callista lowered her legs and quickly brought them to the walk-in closet. Grabbing the set of uniforms for the appointed day. Not wanting to take too long, Callista quickly made her way to the bathroom.
Today she did not want to take a bath and just wanted to shower her body with warm water. It was a dubious hour for her to have a soaking session. She didn't want to repeat the same thing that happened on her second day of school.
Her long legs and crutches were the first to come out of the bathroom. The cold gently enveloped her warm skin. Callista shuddered slightly at that.
True to her routine, Callista turned to her school bag. She chose to seat herself on a chair not far from her. A frown printed on her forehead, again someone was helping her to organize the books according to her schedule. It must be one of the maids. Is this a facility provided for her here?
Not caring about that because the books that had been tidied up were really in the right place, Callista walked towards the sofa. One of her hands reached for a box on the way.
Her eyes stared at the scars that still did not want to disappear from her legs. Even some of the scratches had reopened. With repeated audible sighs, her delicate fingers applied ointment to the wounds on her legs. As a final step, she covered the treatment with a bandage.
Callista straightened up. "Hopefully it won't leave a mark," she hoped because she didn't want to show this to her loved ones.

When the twin doors of the elevator opened, the noise immediately assaulted her. His vision was filled with maids passing by. She nodded his head slightly, this kind of atmosphere was just right. The quiet atmosphere she felt yesterday on the ground floor was not right, it felt like something was missing.
The maids who saw Callista coming out of the elevator, hurriedly walked over. Two of them helped Callista's steps, while the other two walked behind Callista. Callista, who had been wealthy since childhood, was used to such treatment. But she became a little confused when she saw some unfamiliar faces around her.
Knowing that her employer had seated her at the dining table, one of the maids who had followed Callista hurriedly left for the kitchen. Shortly after that maid returned with three maids behind her pushing a stainless steel trolley.
The food was served very politely. Callista looked at the maids who did not look her in the eye. Unlike the maids in her mansion who showed her warmth and friendliness, the maids in this mansion did their job by emphasizing politeness.
Callista looked at the maids in turn then turned to the food that was served in front of her. The food was not too heavy and suitable for breakfast. Two toasts with two sunny-side-up eggs on them, grilled sausages that had been cut into pieces, and a vegetable salad on the side.
Those beautiful eyes turned to the croissants with various flavors in the middle. Some contained sausages with various sauces on top, some contained corned beef with melted cheese on top, and various sweet sauces such as chocolate.
"Hopefully, this meal will bring me a perfect morning."

A dark hallway with a lingering fishy odor. In contrast to the foul smell of the hallway, the black marble looked spotlessly clean. Of course, it wasn't the smell coming from the hallway, the fishy odor was emanating from every room bordered by the iron bars they passed through.
The two men guarding the door bowed their heads politely. Not answering anything unimportant to him, a man in a casual black suit continued to walk inside.
He glanced around to see that the three men he had ordered were now carrying out their duties. With his back leaning against the wall, toes slightly stomping, the man stared intently at the two men in front of him. His gaze looked from the bottom to the top, a gaze that could make an opponent feel intimidated.
The bruises on the bodies of his prey showed that the two men were not as strong as he expected. Kenward snorted softly. It looked like he would be doing his usual boring activities today. The two men would offer no resistance.
How could they dare to touch the girl he had claimed as his own if they were this weak?
His right hand was raised upwards. Just by moving his finger, he had conveyed his order.
The two men around hurriedly stepped away from where they were. Their hand movements were very rough when dealing with captives. Unwrapping the cloth covering the mouth and removing the ropes covering the captives' eyes.
As soon as their senses were opened, one of the two men immediately raised a protest.
"What are you doing to us? Quickly take this off!"
The other man immediately shot a glare at his partner. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't think that girl was yours. Now hasn't that girl returned to you? I'll give you a lot of money as compensation."
Kenward shook his head. "Do you see me as someone who lacks money?"
The two men were instantly silenced. They stared at each other wordlessly. The most dangerous people were those with power and wealth. They can do anything and cover it up neatly.
Kenward felt bored watching his prey who were silent for a while. An idea crossed his mind, and he was immediately made to grin.
"Do you want to leave with a fortune?"
The two men immediately looked at Kenward intently. One of them gulped down his saliva with difficulty when he accidentally met Kenward's sharp eyes. They looked back at each other until one of them finally answered.
"We-we'll do whatever you tell us as long as you let us go," the prey replied with trembling hands. Of course, this did not escape Kenward's eyes. It was easy for him to divide the focus of the gaze, especially since both of their hands were tied up.
Kenward nodded in understanding. His right hand raised, his closest men, immediately walked over to Kenward. Kenward glanced at his men.
"Bring the diamond box!"
The three words made the two bound prey widen their eyes. Suddenly they stared at each other with shocked expressions adorning their faces.
Was this man who seemed to have a lot of power going to let them go? Moreover, they were given diamonds?
Not long after because the room where Kenward worked in the basement was only a few prison cells away, his men came back with a fairly large box. Kenward typed in a password until finally, the box opened.
He took out five diamonds of average size. With a hand code and a look, he ordered his men to place the box on the table.
Kenward stepped over to his favorite drawer. The silence was eerie and the heartbeats of the two prey men were racing. They continued to stare intensely at Kenward's every move.
The long fingers swept lightly over the objects in the drawer, forming a line. His finger stopped right at an object. He picked it up and closed the drawer with his other hand. His fingers moved nimbly to check whether the object in his hand was still functioning properly or not.
A medium-sized pointed iron spun quickly. A smile was etched on his lips. Meanwhile, Kenward's two prey were moving restlessly. The hungry gaze Kenward cast at the drill in his hand made them shudder.
"W-what are you going to do? You promised to let us go!"
Hearing the meaningless babble, Kenward turned around. They looked terrified, and seeing them made Kenward even more excited.
"I only promised to help you leave with a lot of money. Of course, I'll keep it."
Kenward walked closer. The two men thrashed around and tried their best to break free from the bonds. But of course, fate was not on their side for now. They could only wish to God in their hearts.
Kenward squatted down in front of one of his prey. "I don't plan on getting you out of this room. I only plan to let you leave, to go to another realm."
"What are you-" The man did not finish his sentence. His loud shouting voice sounded so loud it mixed with the sound of the drilling machine.
"Arghh!"
Kenward's smile widened as the drill's sharpened iron stabbed inward. The prey's right leg shook with pain. Blood splattered on his face and clothes, but instead of disgust, he felt happiness welling up in his heart.
Feeling that he had enough of the hole he had made, Kenward stopped the drilling machine and pulled out his favorite object. Instantly, blood flowed out profusely, accompanied by a scream of pain that didn't stop.
With the same smile, Kenward inserted a sizable diamond into the hole in the prey's right leg. The sparkling diamond was immediately covered by thick blood. Kenward who saw it chuckled in annoyance. The result of his plan was not as perfect as he had imagined.
Well, even though it did not look beautiful on their bodies, still he kept his promise to give them his treasure. That was what he was thinking in his mind.
The long, incessant howl made Kenward feel comfortable staring at the hole for several minutes. At the beginning of each howl, which was accompanied by a jolt, the blood came out faster and then flowed steadily, and it was like that again and again.
Kenward turned on the drilling machine again. Of course, it was not pleasing to the eye if there was only one part of the body that was supposed to be in a pair. Therefore, Kenward again gave his generosity.
The loud sound of the drill mixed with the splashing blood was like an aesthetic fountain in Kenward's eyes. He constantly squinted his eyes to give a smile. The fingers of his left hand swayed in the air, enjoying the strains of his favorite song.
She has now made two beautiful holes. She placed the white diamond that sparkled beautifully on the hole full of thick liquid. Slightly blocking the flow of blood, but of course only slightly. The strong blood flow tried to jerk the diamonds out.
Kenward nodded in satisfaction. He rose to his feet to stare at the still-intact body of his prey. The sound of ragged breathing coming from not far away made Kenward turn his head to the side. He saw another of his prey staring with unblinking eyes. His forehead was covered in sweat and his body was shaking violently. His legs tried to move away but couldn't because of the restraints.
Kenward straightened his gaze again. He was quite busy this morning, even his one prey in line looked impatient. He wanted to escape the life of the world immediately. Well, not surprisingly, he was an expert at the delivery job.
In one fell swoop, Kenward made three holes in the prey's right arm. The neatly lined up holes made the flowing blood into a waterfall. Kenward stared at the remaining three diamonds, they were not as large as the previous two.
With no other expression but satisfaction on his face, Kenward placed the diamonds one by one. After he finished doing what he had been thinking about, Kenward stepped back three steps. One eyebrow raised upwards, his forehead slightly furrowed, he was thinking about what was missing in his prey's body.
Kenward turned around, walking towards a table on which was a box worth an apartment. After rummaging through the contents of the box for a while, Kenward finally found what he was looking for.
He held up a diamond so large that it filled his palm. His left eyelid closed, and he looked at the diamond that continued to show its clarity by reflecting light from his body.
His pair of long legs moved again. Only a few steps were made, and then they stopped. Kenward looked at his prey who had not stopped screaming. Even though they didn't give him the kind of resistance that made his spirits soar, his voice sounded quite melodious.
"Your pupils are not so beautiful. Do you want to change them?" asked Kenward, who did not want an answer from his interlocutor.
"P-please just kill me," the man pleaded with a weakened look.
Kenward shrugged his shoulders. "Of course I will. But it's a long process to get to the end."
Kenward pocketed the diamond for a moment. The index finger of his right hand held the prey's eyelids closed. Without warning, his left hand stabbed right into the prey's eye. It grabbed the spherical part and pulled it out with a strong jerk.
He carelessly threw away the object that was not important to him. The eyeball with a black pupil and a tail-like nerve behind it rolled along the ground at high speed.
Not giving himself time to digest the situation, Kenward took a diamond from his pants pocket and immediately filled the large hole that was oozing a lot of viscous liquid.
"Argghh!"
