Arihan Rajput
“What do you mean by you did not find him?” I growled at my men.
“Boss, h-he t-tricked us and escaped” one of them said, stuttering. I take a few deep breaths to calm my anger. Just when I was about to speak the door swung open revealing Zev Kaul, my right hand.
“Speak” I said. I know he has some information about that useless piece of a shit.
“Boss, I found him. He is in the basement cell” he replied quickly. I went to the basement as I was boiling with anger. The view in front of me gave me satisfaction but not completely. I opened the cell and knelt in front of the traitor, who is covered with blood all over his face and body. I know Zev can do his job very well. That’s why I trust him but I don’t trust anyone other than my family. We never know when people change and betray us. That is the reason I never lower my guard even if I trust some of them.
“You should know better by now what will happen if you become greedy and sell the information of my company after working for three damn years” I roared at him. He flinched at my sudden outburst. He had never seen this side of me even if he knew not to make me angrier.
I take my gun from my back and point it to his head. I know if I leave him now he will repeat the same thing. So instead, I shot him on his forehead.
“Clean this shit” I said coldly to my men and walked away.
Well, you all might be wondering who am I? And what was going on? Let me make it clear.
I am Arihan Rajput, heir of the Rajput empire. I am a Mafia Lord. Everybody thinks that the mafia is dangerous and all but let me make it clear that I don’t hurt innocent people. I only punish those who are traitors and give my country a bad reputation. I only punish the bad people and check their background before taking any action on them. So, I don’t feel guilty for what I do.
I am the son of Jairaj Rajput and Driti Rajput. I have a younger sister, Riya Rajput. I love my family very much. I am 25 years old and completed my college three years ago. I am a ruthless and cold-hearted person to the world. I respect women and I am not a playboy type. I believe in love but did not find it till now. I believe that beautiful things happen at the most unexpected time. I am a one-woman man so no girlfriends till now. I own a car company named Merganser. I worked very hard to bring my company to the top level. I am one of the richest billionaires in India. Don’t get me wrong, I am not telling this to boost my ego. This is what I have earned from my hard work.
The person whom I shot was the traitor in my company who thought of selling the information for 1 crore. I was able to know this before he could hand the information to my rivals.
“Yes, Ruby?” I answered my phone when it started vibrating in my pocket. It was a call from my assistant.
“Sir, you have to attend a college event in an hour” she said.
“Okay” I said and hung up. I don’t like wasting my time talking nonsense.
“ICFP now” I instructed my driver as soon as I got into my car. I have to attend an event in that college as I am the Guest of Honor. They invited me last week and I have no problem attending such events.
As soon as I got out of the car, I felt the cool breeze caressing my face. I know my men are following me at a distance so as not to grab too much attention. I don’t like to attract too much attention from people.
As I was on my way to the auditorium where the event is going to be held, I saw a petite girl fighting with a boy. Well, it’s not fighting because she is giving the punches and he is taking it. I can see that the boy is trying to fight but is no match to the strength of that girl, I guess. I wonder, how is that even possible? After observing her moves I understood that she knows martial arts because she is using the moves of martial arts.
I like girls who can stand for themselves and fight no matter who their opponent is. I understood that she is very rebellious and she looked cute with that behavior.
She is really gorgeous with a fair complexion, waist length chocolate brown hair, slender waist, pink lips. I couldn’t see more as she only had her left part facing me.
I am utterly shocked to see the scene in front of me. I am so engrossed with that girl, that I didn't even notice someone was standing in front of me.
“Glad to see you Mr. Rajput, I am the Principal of this college, Manthan Roy” he introduced himself offering a handshake.
“Good to see you, Mr. Roy” I accepted his hand and gave a small smile.
“This way Mr. Rajput” he said and led me the way. But before going I turned to see that girl but she is nowhere to be found. I feel a little disappointed and I don’t know why?
We reached the auditorium and I was welcomed by a bouquet of roses as soon as I reached the stage. I sat on a chair behind the table and they started the event with a little speech by the principal.
My mind went back to the girl I saw a few minutes ago. I can’t take my mind off her but for some reason I feel like I will meet her soon.
My chain of thoughts were cut when I saw the girl climbing the steps of the stage. My heart is beating faster than necessary and I don’t have a clue why. I have never felt this way before.
I got to know her name as Prisha Jha when the speaker announced the topper in Finance of fourth year for the first semester. Okay, so about to get graduated in Finance.
“Arihan, what the? What is wrong with you boy?! This is not you. Get a hold of yourself”, my inner self warned.
Indeed, this is not me. Taking a deep breath I tried to focus on what was happening.
I was listening to the speaker to divert my mind and it worked. At last they thanked me for attending and I gave a few certificates for the best students in sports and top students of the college for the previous year. Still they have a semester for the students who will graduate this year so they only gave certificates for the students till that semester.
When I was on my way back to the parking lot, my phone vibrated in my pants pocket. I grabbed my mobile only to see my mom calling. I swiped the screen to answer the call.
“Yes, maa?” I asked. “Ari, when will you be back?” she asked.
I glanced at my wrist watch only to see that it is almost past lunch time.
“Maa, I’m coming” I answered as I was so busy that I forgot that I should go home for lunch.
“Okay, you are late today for lunch Ari, come quickly” she said and hung up on me. I groaned and slid the mobile inside and lifted my eyes only to get my temper raised by the scene in front of me.
