Chapter 2 — Introduction (Part 2)

Ethan Miller aka V was one of the biggest businessmen and the most feared leader in the underworld. He was someone who could easily pass as a mafia but due to his connections all of his misdeeds were covered up.

"What did you say?!" Ethan growled at his staff.

"S-sir Mr. Choi broke the deal with us." His assistant said with fear. Fear of his life.

"That bastard! Does he really think that he can get away with it?" He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth.

*After some time…*

"P-please spare m-me."

"Did you really think that you were going to get away with betraying me?" Ethan smirked at the sight in front of him. There lied his previous business partner, Mr. Choi, on his knees, begging for his life.

"B-but you a-are m-mafia. So—"

"So, what did you think?"

"You would not have g-given us the pr-promised s-share." He said terrified. "So the share is bigger than your life?" He raised one of his eyebrows.

"Argh" Ethan groaned in pain as he was shot in his left hand. He glared in the direction that the bullet had been fired and saw Mr. Choi's son. He was shaking with fear but also held the gun firmly in his hand.

"Pathetic." With that, he shot exactly on the latter’s forehead and the body of the latter fell lifelessly on the ground. He could see on the verge of crying with the on-going scene. Ethan smirked at him.

"You really want to die so badly, don't you?" He said pointing the gun at his head and pulled the trigger. Blood was all over the ground.

Ethan was badly wounded as the bullet did not fail to pierce his muscles. He was bleeding heavily.

'Those shitheads.' he told himself. He regretted not bringing his other partners as he had to deal with the wound himself.

Who would have thought there was someone brave enough to plot something like today? He shouldn't have been so careless, only to regret it later.

Without any thought he went in the dark alley and took out his phone to make a call but failed as his visions were getting blurry.

 'THUD' and everything went black.
