Sudden shifts
Just as Jason left, Terry and Igor who had only been attacking the weak members of the Nightclaw pack, massacring every one of them, instantly ran towards Alphonse who pushed himself off of the car and was looking to retreat while still alive.

The only thing that had saved him just now was the fact that Kyley had escaped Jason's captive.

And If it wasn't for Jason being obsessed with her, he would have been dead by now.

Besides, he believed that Jason wanted him alive for some reason.

Alphonse wondered just how Kyley ended up in Jason's captive when she had that lycan around to protect her.

Did Jason defeat a lycan?

Alphonse wasn't too sure, however, it didn't seem unlikely since he had been able to capture Kyley who was under the protection of that lycan. It only made sense to think that the lycan was defeated.

If so, then what was he even thinking!?

Now wasn't he tune to even ponder all of that. He was wounded and needed to retreat while he still can.

However, just as Alphonse was about to say to his pack members to fall back, he saw from the peripheral of his view as Igor and Terry rushed towards him from different directions.

Alphonse heart thrummed and he quickly raced in thought as to what to do. He couldn't face two gammas in his current state. He'd surely die!

Alphonse decided to lure them away from the battle so as to provide his pack members a chance to escape while he himself tried to escape from these two gammas who would surely run in pursuit of him.

With this thought in mind, Alphonse shifted and turned to run towards the woods.

Squish!

However, Alphonse paused when he saw a strange gamma who he had only seen amidst Jason's ranks only today appear behind Igor.

He jumped at Igor from behind and struck his raised claw clean through his back and chest with so much force that a hole was punched in the latter's neart.

Splursh!

" ..." Igor could only gasp and slump to death. Disbelief and horror the only emotions that remained on his face as he died.

" Igor!" Terry yelled out in a loud yet low out-yell seeing his partner fall beneath Harrod's feet, dead!

His eyes reddened and widened in shock as he stared at Harrod in disbelief. Then, his expression contorted as rage subsumed him.

" Traitor!" He yelled as he shifted into his wolf form to attack Harrod.

However,

Squish!

A claw struck at him from behind as well, punching right through to his heart from behind.

Blinded by rage, Terry had forgotten that he'd turned his back to Alphonse...

He could only express realization and shock as he gave up the soul.

Thus, Terry and Igor fell in battle. Right then and there, just like that.

Alphonse looked at the strange gamma who transformed into his human form afterwards. A sinister smile was worn on his bloodied dignified face.

" Don't ask. They deserved that ..." Harrod said in a grim tone as he stared down at Terry and Igor's corpse.

" Jason and these bunch attacked my pack and took everything from us. I've been waiting for this day ever since then."

Looking at the battle around, Alphonse calmly nodded and said to Harrod, " With these two dead, we could only end this if we work together to bring down Jason" he suggested, offering an alliance with Harrod.

Harrod calmly nodded his head and said, " That's the plan..."

" But first..." Harrod looked to the side towards the lady who stood in the distance, looking at where Jason had left towards with a worried expression on her face.

The lady seemed unperturbed about the battle that ensued behind her.

Harrod thought that she was stupid, and it irritated him.

He believed that she'd let herself be brainwashed by Jason!

" I have to take care of her!" He donned a serious expression and walked towards Georgia from behind.

Splursh!

A cruel flesh-piercing sound was heard all of a sudden, and the blonde Georgia's dress became stained with blood, just as the corners of her lips.

Harrod didn't hesitate to strike his sharp claws through her slender back. He looked with a pained expression as Georgia slowly died in his very own hands.

Even as he killed her, she still had a smile on her face which pissed Harrod off badly.

" Now I can rest knowing I've finally freed your tormented soul" Harrod muttered with reddened eyes.

Harrod scooped Georgia's corpse in his arms and took her into Jason's house before rushing back outside once again. He glanced at Alphonse that he was ready and hurried towards where Jason had left for earlier with Alphonse following right behind him.

Paige and Kyley ran through the woods under the dim lighting of the wilderness. There hearts pounded in fear but their limbs never stopped as they dashed through the woods in their wolf form.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Snap!

Kyley ran behind Paige's lead, her whole being still trembled in fright as they escaped.

Twigs, sharp thorns, stones and obstacles that tore, pricked and hit them as they leapt on all fours in a dash forward

The humid night and the smell of dirt was all they could sense as they ran through the wilderness without knowing just where they were headed.

For some reason, Kyley couldn't help but be reminded of that night that she'd escaped and ran away from the Moonblood pack residence.

It wasn't any different from now!

Save for the full moon that shone brightly down on the world in a bright pour of luminescent silver light and the presence of Paige, everything else was just the same!

The fear and scare in her leaping heart as they ran without looking back overwhelmed her being. Kyley's heart was clouded by a sudden sense of unease.

Rargh! Rargh!

All of a sudden, as they ran through a small clearing, a cold blood-curling growl was heard and a dark huge figure ran from the sides of the clearing at them.

They only noticed that they were being followed now!

Before Kyley could even move to dodge, the figure leapt at her and pushed her while still on a dash.

" Uw!" Kyley whined as she rolled across the floor severally until she hit her back on a tree which brought her to a stop.

" Ow!" She howled in pain as she'd hit her back and her whole body on stones and thorny twigs on the floor.

Kyley instinctively shifted back into her human form in an instant, groveling in pain underneath the tall tree.

" Kyley!" Paige stopped and ran towards Kyley. She leapt to her side and shifted into her human form in an instant.

However, she became alarmed when she heard the short growl of the werewolf that had attacked Kyley. Paige shifted back into her wolf form and stood before Kyley to protect her as the dark figure slowly approached, pacing slowly towards them as though it were a predator that had just found its prey.

Grrr!

Walking out of the darkness, the black furred figure with slight tinges of red growled at them before slowly shifting into its human form.

" To think even would betray me, Paige!" With his dark red hair falling messily over his face and standing out under the small lighting of the full moon, Jason's tall figure was outlined. He growled in a deep voice as he frowned and stared intently at Paige.

Paige who had long realized from his scent that it was Jason couldn't help but take a step back out of instinct.

Jason had found them!
