In the basement, Kyley stared with widened, terrified gaze at Jason who walked towards her calmly.

" W-what are you talking about?" In a shaky and fearful tone, Kyley blurted out, pretending as though she knew nothing about what he just asked.

Her body trembled in fear and trauma as she scurried away from Jason, hitting her back on the walls and causing the chains with which she was tied to the wall with to cling and clang.

She had nowhere to run!

" That Lycan really has no shame. To think that he'd bite and mark you on the same spot as I did." Jason seemed to mutter to himself as he stared down at Kyley indifferently.

" Do you really think I wouldn't notice?" He asked a short while after, the deadpan expression on his face conveyed his annoyance at Kyley's ignorant act.

Kyley froze and swallowed hearing this. She knew just how mad Jason was about the bite mark, despite the indifferent expression on his face. She was scared, so much that she didn't even register that Jason called Darren a Lycan!

" It's none of your darn business anyway! Or do you wanna know how he fucked me too? Is that what you want cuck!? Does it turn you on?!" She retorted despite the fear in her heart. This wouldn't have been evident if her voice wasn't high-pitched and shaky.

Jason's brows furrowed into a frown hearing this,

" You bitch!" he took quick steps forward and bent before Kyley who instinctively backed up against the wall. He raised his hands and...

Slap!

" Agh!" Kyley grunted at the hard slap dealt to her face by Jason. However, she raised her gaze shortly after and flashed a bloodied grin despite the stinging sensation in the side of her face.

Jason snared and grabbed her jaw forcefully. " Break it. Break the bond now!" He ordered trough gritted teeth.

However, Kyley grinned and, " Tu! Never!" She spat at Jason and yelled.

Seeing how Jason shot his head to the side and clenched his teeth hard in annoyance, Kyley couldn't help but laugh in delight. " Haha!"

However,

Slap!

The laughter didn't last for too long as Jason in a fit of rage swung the back of his hands across Kyley's face.

" Ugh!"

Cling!

The latter grunted as she fell on her sides, feeling a stinging pain all over her face.

However, she pushed herself up by her hands, hanging her head low as her long hair fell over her face. She seemed to be struggling to regain her bearing as her head spun crazily from the slap just now. Her heart pounded right in her throat as her head swirled in a sharp pain.

Kyley was scared, but she didn't care anymore!

Jason calmly rose afterwards, wiping the rest of the spit on his face.

" You don't want me telling you again" he said, staring down at Kyley's defeated figure. He didn't wait for a response as he calmly reached for his belt, unbuckling it.

Cling! Cling!

Kyley instantly shot her head up hearing this. She expressed shock as she stared with trembling eyes at Jason's belt that was slowly being unbuckled.

She knew exactly what he meant by his words, and fear subsumed her whole being. Despite how much she cherished Darren and their bond, Kyley still feared two things.

Having to betray him with her body which she'd promised herself to keep exclusive to him alone and having him get hurt through their bond.

Kyley's heart raced and trembled in fear as the belt being slowly unbuckled gave a tickling sound of time running out. Her eyes darted about in thought as she thought to find a way out. She has to do something fast!

" Stop!" She shut her eyes and said in defeat all of a sudden, raising a palm in surrender.

Jason paused hearing this but his gaze still remained indifferent as he stared down at Kyley.

" I- I'll do it" Kyley looked up at him with slightly swollen face and reddened pained eyes that threatened to break into tears. She sighed in defeat and lowered her head as she said, " I'll do it...", her voice was low and dejected.

Jason stopped unbuckling his belt at this point and just nodded his head. He didn't say anything and just looked down at her with a face full of nothing but scorn.

Kyley seeing that Jason had stopped unbuckling his belt sighed in relief in her heart. She raised her gaze to look up at him and nodded severally to indicate that she was about to do just what he asked.

Kyley closed her eyes and shook her head for several minutes, seemingly hesitant. However, she hung her shoulders after a while, lowering her head sadly.

" Darren... Help!" She cried through her bond with him sincerely, before opening her eyes to look at Jason. Her eyes welled with tears as she looked up at him with all the hatred and scorn in the world.

She had broken her bond with Darren...?

Just then, Jason frowned and said, " You must really think I'm stupid to think I'll believe that farce, don't you?" He calmly took a step forward and crouched in front of Kyley who shuddered and backed up on the wall at his words.

The latter's eyes widened at this and couldn't help but stare in shock.

" Bastard! You promised to not do anything to me if I severed my bond with him" Kyley had actually faked severing her bond with Darren just now but Jason had seen right through her.

" Did I?" Jason corked his head to the side as he said.

" Besides, I realized there's no way to tell, so why not just do it myself. At least, that way, I can be certain the it's severed... right?" Jason grinned evilly as he reached to grab Kyley by the neck.

" Let ... Me ... Go... you bastard!" The latter screamed and squirmed, cursing through gritted teeth under his grasp on her neck.

She reached her hands to pull Jason's hands that pinned her by the neck to the wall and thrashed her legs about in rejection of whatever Jason was about to do to her.

She was scared beyond all reasoning, but she wouldn't back down without a fight!

Kyley just despised Jason! She wished gat he died!

However, try as much as she did, she could only squirm under Jason's strong grip on her neck.

Jason didn't mind all the swings and thrashing and just calmly moved his other hand to subdue Kyley.

" Fight me anymore, and I'll make certain that I mess you up so much that you would never wish to appear in front of him again..." He threatened with a cold gaze and Kyley instantly froze in fear hearing this.

Her heart dropped in a thrum and her eyes instantly widened and trembled as her body shuddered uncontrollably. Her whole body instinctively listened to him and froze in spot without moving.

Save for the trembling, Kyley's whole body surrendered and gave in, becoming stationary.

" Good" Jason swept a cold glance at her and said in a deep tone. He moved his hands from her neck to grab her by the face, pressing her to the wall.

His canines grew into sharp fangs as he neared his face to her neck and bit at the dark bite mark on her neck.

Right where Darren had marked her.

" No!" Kyley thrashed about and screamed, grimacing in pain. Her claws grew sharp and her eyes gained a mad rage as she struck at Jason.

Sha! Sha!

The latter got clawed and he moved back in anguish and fury.

With his hands still grasping Kyley, he raised his hand to slap her once again. " Bitch!" He cursed as he struck her in the face with gritted teeth.

Slap!

" Ugh!" Kyley grunted loudly as she fell to the floor once again. Her nails and rage drew back in as she lay down on the floor sobbing in defeat.

Jason stood up and looked at the tear marks in his arms for a moment. He then looked at Kyley with a furious expression as his chest rose in fury.

However, he scoffed and walked away from the basement as he said, " Brace yourself. There's lots more to come, and I won't stop until I totally break you" he crushed a fist in front of him as he said.

If it weren't for the fact that he had important business to attend to tonight, Jason would have made certain that Kyley paid for her actions just now. However, there was no need rushing things. He wouldn't enjoy his revenge that way would he?

Slam!

He dashed out in rage, leaving Kyley sobbing in the basement.

Kyley felt the tiny bits of bond and connection that she had with Darren slowly fading away. The only thing that she held on to.

The only thing that gave her hope that he will come for her.

It has been taken away, just like that!

Kyley cried all of her hearts out, feeling all hopes lost.

Paige having heard everything that had transpired in the basement, hurried away when she figured that Jason would soon be on his way out.

Her face contorted in fear and panic as she hurried away towards the door to his room.

Thankfully, it wasn't too far away. She made it right when...

Jason walked out of the basement with a frown.

The latter seemed to pause at the sight of Paige, who seemed as though she just got out of bed as she stood by the door to his room. He didn't pay much mind to her and just walked along without even sparing a glance at her.

Paige pretended to be groggy and tired as she stood by the door to Jason's room. With a slightly forced smile on her face, she watched as the latter stormed off.

Her heart beat at every of his footstep, only calming as it got farther and farther away.

Just as he left, she instantly went back inside and shut the door behind her. With her back to the door, Paige exhaled the breath that she'd been sucking in and breathed heavily in panic.

How could she stay calm when she's just heard all that!?

Her widened eyes darted about in fright after hearing everything that transpired in the basement. Worried and concerned, Paige touched her palm to her chest to calm her frivolously pounding heart as she pondered everything she'd just heard in disbelief.

Not that he didn't expect such an end for Kyley, however, to have listened as Jason actually did it was quite a different experience that had her feeling scared and frightened.

Paige couldn't help but reach to touch the collar on her neck, realizing she'd made quite the big mistake.

She realized that Jason was a twisted sadist who enjoyed torturing women.

Paige hadn't wanted to believe it at first but she was quite able to piece the puzzles together now.

She knew from the sex she had with Jason that something wasn't right. But only now did she finally realize just what kind of person Jason was.

She finally understood why Kyley hated him so much and wanted to run far away from him at every chance she got.

Jason was out to ruin her after all!

' But more importantly...' Paige's heart beat rate grew even faster as she started to fear for herself. She had gotten herself deep in trouble and realized that she would probably end up the same as Kyley.

Heck, she was already wearing a collar!

' I should have realized from the way Kyley spoke about him. No sane woman would hate a man so much without a darn good reason!' Paige started to panic in fear.

Since Kyley had betrayed Jason and ran away afterwards, Paige expected that she would of course, have to face certain consequences.

However, she realized that Jason wasn't like this towards Kyley alone. After all, the collar on her neck spoke volume of his intent!

" Love has nothing to do with pain..." Paige couldn't help but reiterate Kyley's words in a mutter, the true meaning of those words finally struck her.

She pitied Kyley and couldn't help but wonder just how much pain the latter must have gone through in Jason's hands...

' I need to get out of here, but, there's no way I can escape Jason!' Paige instantly made a decision. She didn't want to stand around to become some torture pig to Jason.

At first she had the hots for him but, 'nuh-uh,' she wasn't pain tolerant!

She decided to nope her way out of this one...she had to!

However, there was no way to escape Jason. No matter where she went, he would try to find her. Paige now realized how it felt to be in Kyley's shoes, and couldn't help but feel helpless.

Suddenly, she had an idea!
