Chapter 158 - Lycan Princes Slave Mate

JAXSON'S POV

After shutting Madelyn into the bunker beneath the tower, which I truly hated, because, if a dragon got by us, our main tower would be a target, Koda and I shifted and our Lycan's carried our pants towards the mountains.

We met up with our troops after an hour, where we were gathering in the field near the woods.

''We need to get our people into those trees'' Ryker suggested, as we both pulled on our pants.

Koda ran over to a group of Lycans, handing out our gear and grabbed binoculars. Lycan's had great eyesites but not even we could see as far away as the Viserion mountains. Even flying, they'd reach us in another hour.

''My Goddess Maddie is good'' Koda looked back at me ''She's better than a damn alarm system, there's eleven, and they're definitely silver, they'll be coming into view in about ten minutes. Thanks to Maddie's warning, we're in with a winning chance''

''Ryker'' I turned to him ''Get your team with the net cannons in those trees''

''On it!'' He agreed ''Lenix, round em up, I want half shifted and the other half at the top of the tallest tree's they can climb!''

''Cole!'' I looked over ''I want those water hoses in place within the hour, and start wetting down the forest''

''Already doing it!'' He nodded.

''Katsu!'' Koda shouted to our General ''I want our team spread out over the field''

''Yes, Alpha!''

''I want my team to wrap around and get behind them'' Koda shouted out to the troops ''I'll join you soon, GO!''

I started walking over to Koda, when a hand reached out and touched my shoulder, and I spun to see Noland.

''Is Maddie safe?''

I growled and grabbed his throat ''How many times do you need to be told to use her title'' I asked and shoved him back.

''Yes, she's safe'' Koda answered as he came over to us.

''This many dragons in one place will make her sick''

''She's not your responsibility'' Koda snapped ''Now get back to your damn unit, or I'll have Katsu use you a bait!''

''You want to keep her safe?'' I added, as he walked away ''You help us kill every one of those sons of b*tches!''

Noland looked over to the mountains and smiled ''I'll kill them, don't worry'' He smiled ''And I'm taking a fang as payment!''

''What ever, just f*cking go!'' I growled in frustration as he shifted, and ran over to Katsu.

''I really hate that f*cking b*tch!'' I linked Koda.

''Here's hoping a dragon eats him'' Koda smirked and hugged me ''Stay safe''

''You too'' I patted his back and stepped back ''If something happens to me''

''Yeah, I know'' He nodded ''Me too''

Koda shifted and took off after his troops, and I prayed it wouldn't be the last time I saw my brother.

''Let's go!'' Knox said excitedly ''I want to bag a dragon!''

''Keep your head in the game'' I ordered ''It's not a f*cking game, if we lose, they'll go for the tower and burn the city to the ground, and in case it's escaped your f*cking attention, our mates in that city''

''Well, it's a good thing mate can't be burnt'' He commented ''Now give me control!''

''See you on the other side, brother''

I let Knox have control and gave an excited howl before racing around our troops.

'LISTEN UP!'' Knox shouted at them through the link ''THOSE DRAGONS ARE GOING TO COME AT US HARD, THEY'RE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO TAKE ON IN THE SKY, WAIT UNTIL RYKERS MEN TAKE THEM DOWN WITH THE NETS OR THE SPEARS, AND THEN YOU ATTACK, IF YOU HESITATE, YOU DIE, YOU RUN AWAY LIKE A F*CKING COWARD AND I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!''

''Yes, Alpha!'' They echoed in response.

''I WANT THE LYCAN'S WITH THE ABILITY TO CONTROL FIRE TO STEP FORWARD'' I added.

Only three of my troops stepped forward.

''STAY IN YOUR FORM!'' Knox shouted at them ''WHEN YOU'VE RUN OUT OF ENERGY, AND CAN NO LONGER USE YOUR POWERS, SHIFT AND LET YOUR LYCAN'S TAKE OVER''

''YES, ALPHA KNOX!''

''YES, YOUR MAJESTY!''

''WESLEY'' I called out to another Lycan ''YOU CAN CONTROL ENERGY, CAN'T YOU?!''

A smaller brown boy walked over to us ''Kind of, I can draw it in, but I can't fully control where it lands''

''That's all we need'' I commented as Knox looked up at the clouds in the sky ''When those dragons are over head, I want you to pull in as much lightning as you can and blanket the f*cking sky with it. Can you do that?''

''I'll sure give it my best go''

''You better'' I told him ''You'll only have one shot, I want you on the other side of the field, by the tree line so they can't see, now go!''

Knox and I continued to get our troops in order, before we started pacing around the field, watching Coles troops getting in place with the hoses and start wetting down the field and trees, and it wasn't long before the dragons finally came into view.

''Koda, you ready''

''My guys are in place'' He answered ''We'll stay hidden until they pass us, and then we'll come out''

''Great, Ryker, are you guys ready?!''

''As we'll ever be'' He answered ''F*cking hate heights though, so lets bring these b*stards down quickly''

''That's entirely up to your guys, not me'' I shot back ''Cole, make sure your guys keep those fire out, and if they get ahead of us towards the city, your team follows''

''Count on it!''

They flew over the forest in minutes, flying high over head, and souring through the clouds, splitting them up to let the sunshine flow through. The second they came past Koda's team, he let me know they were coming, and I waited for them to reach us.

''HOLD!'' Ryker shouted through the link as two of the largest dragons came down while the others continued to circle us.

Knox kept an eye on them, they were waiting for us to be distracted with the first two.

''HOLD!'' Ryker shouted again, as the dragons came lower over the tree tops.

The closest and biggest of the dragons opened its wide mouth.

''NOW!''

Ten cannons went off, seven golden nets and three with silver spears. One spear made contact with the biggest dragon, going straight through its open mouth and through the back of its skull, bringing it down instantly.

''Who ever launched that, gets his weight in gold!'' I let them know, as two dragons flew down and joined the remaining one, that was now furiously blasting fire down into the forest.

''RELOAD!''

The other two spears had missed and were lying somewhere on the forest floor, and all seven nets had missed.

''JOEY!'' I shouted ''SEARCH THE FOREST FLOOR, GET THOSE NETS BACK TO THE CANNONS!''

A young gray Lycan rushed out of my ranks and into the woods, being engulfed in the trees in seconds.

''READY!'' Ryker shouted, as Cole's team continued to water down the tree's ''LAUNCH!''

A second barrage or nets and arrows flew skyward, all the spears missed, but one net made its mark. It wrapped around the largest buck's wings and stomach.

''GREAT JOB!'' Ryker shouted through the link.

''GET READY!'' I screamed.

The huge buck fell from the sky, landing with a satisfying thud and crunch when it's wing broke.

''ATTACK!'' Knox and I shouted in unison.

We launched at the struggling dragon that was blowing fire as it thrashed and tried to claw at the golden net. Knox was the first to bring his claws down on its neck, slicing through the scales and feeling the blood dripping down his hide.

Knox drew back to slice again, when a Lycan smashed into him, and knocked him off. He growled and went to jump up to attack when an inferno of flames rained down on the buck.

''You owe me one'' Noland's smug voice linked me, but as his Lycan stood there smugly, the dragon circled back and shot down another stream of fire, so Knox tackled him out of the way this time.

''Now we're even!'' Knox growled, and flicked him in the face with his tail, when he spun to jump on the dragon once more.

Knox started hacking and slashing his claws alongside the rest of my team. I could feel the heat of the flames coming from the other dragons, but my troops that control fire, managed to keep it off us for now.

''RELOAD!'' Ryker screamed again as all the dragons shot down upon us like rockets falling from the sky.

''WESLEY GET READY!'' I shouted as Knox jumped off the dead dragon ''THE MOMENT THEY FLY UP TO AVOID THE NETS, YOU LET THE LIGHTNING FLY!''

''YES, SIR!''

''LAUNCH, NOW!'' Ryker shouted.

Spears and nets filled the air around us, and every dragon except one managed to avoid them, a smaller dragon plummeted to the ground while Wesley came closer and held his hands up to the sky.

''WESLEY, NOW!''

Knox turned to watch Wesley's hands begin to glow and every cloud in the sky lit up like they were filled with fireworks and then all the lightning came shooting down, all nine dragons left in the sky came down hard, just as Koda's teams caught up.

''ATTACK!'' Koda shouted and we all shot forward.
