Chapter 14
Luna's POV
After a few minutes we finally left, as we walked down the street I heard shouting.
"West! West! Who's your new girlfriend?" I looked to the side to see paparazzi running towards us, they came up from the behind and the side.
Some stood in front of us and followed, snapping pictures while they were at it.
West placed a hand on my back and lifted up his jacket to cover his face as he pushed me into his chest to cover mine as well. He radiated the scent of cologne, a sweet but musky scent. It smelled heavenly.
I was surprised by all of the activity, that I wasn't the slightest bit used to.
"Hey! What's your name? How long have you and West been dating? Which number does that make you this week?" a paparazzi yelled as he stood close to us.
West continued to cover our faces the best he could as he pushed passed by standers and the rest of the paps.
"Ignore them. Don't say a word." he whispered to me as we got the banquet hall and hurried inside.
I pulled away from his chest and looked up at him.
"I'm sorry about that." he said looking aggravated.
"It's fine, it's okay."
"Oh my, are you two alright?"
Asked his mother as she hurried over and looked passed us out the door to see the paparazzi standing outside snapping photos through the glass.
"Yeah, we're fine." He said adjusting his jacket and then taking it off as we walked back into the room.
By the time I checked my phone it had hit five-thirty p.m.
"Wow I didn't even see the time!" I said standing up and gathering my papers. West looked up and then at his phone, clearly he didn't know either.
"I have to get home to let Jason out!" I said grabbing my bag quickly.
"You have a dog?" I nodded "Yes, he's a pit-bull/boxer mix. I said as I showed him a picture on my phone.
"He looks sweet."
"He is, he's a little goof ball.
As I walked towards the exit I turned around.
"Oh, tonight. Um where should we meet?"
"Don't worry about it, I'll pick you up." He said packing his papers up and putting them into a folder.
"Are you sure? Cause I can dr-"
"Luna I can pick you up." he said with a laugh
"Oh, okay. Well thank you. Okay than here is my address."
I said as I pulled a pad of sticky notes and a pen out of my purse.
"Here"
"Great. Thanks, I'll see you around seven?" I nodded as he smiled
Several hours later that evening I got a call
"Hello?"
"Luna, it's West. I'm parked outside of your building."
"Okay, I'll be right down." I said as I grabbed my purse.
Realizing I didn't know how he got my number.
"Ohh where are you off to? Are you going on a date?" asked Katerina as she walked towards the front door.
"Can I go one day without you asking if I have a date or not?" I as with annoyance
"Fine!" she said as she took a bite of the pizza she had ordered from the pizza place a few blocks over.
"Thank you! I'll see you later." I said leaving.
I went downstairs to see West in a sleek black Audi, he quickly got out of the car and opened the passenger side door for me.
"Oh, thank you." I said blushing.
"My pleasure."
We climbed into his car and he began driving. I had never been in an expensive sports car or a sports car for that matter.
"Thank you for picking me up."
"Oh, it's not a problem."
He began to fiddle with the XM radio in his car before landing on a station.
The song Forever by Labrinth began to play.
"So, where are we going exactly?" I asked intertwining my fingers with one an other.
"You'll see." he said briefly looking at me with a grin, as he then brought his gaze back to the road.
After what seemed like an eternity of driving, and not much talking we pulled up to a long path, we drove up to the top to find a path of docks, and boats.
More like ships, a few of them were yachts.
"Holy shit." I said getting out of the car.
"Follow me."
We walked down the dock, as it was lined with light poles, the light reflected off the water.
It looked beautiful,
"Here we are." I looked up at the beautiful all white yacht, it had three levels.
We began on up towards the yacht, West helped me up.
The yacht had a dark wooden exterior and interior, inside was a mini bar, a mini kitchen with a sitting area.
Couches and chairs sat around inside, in the back part of the yacht were three good sized bedrooms.
"This is amazing!" I said in aw.
We walked back out and the upstairs where the control panel was.
"I'll be right back." he said as he walked down the steps of the yacht, I watched over the railing as he unhooked the boat from the dock.
He came back up the top and started the boat.
"We're actually going to go out there?" I said as I watched the sun begin to slowly set, he nodded.
After a bit of time we reached the middle of the water and he dropped the anchor.
We walked towards the deck and lay down on the very front of the yacht.
"Something to drink?" he asked as i took a seat,
"Yes please." he smiled and walked away.
This was unreal.
He shortly came back with two wine glasses and two different bottles of wine.
I pointed to the white wine as he poured it for the both of us.
"Thank you." he nodded "This...is stunning." I said as I watched the sun go down.
"I thought you'd like it." he said with a smile.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked, he nodded
"Why of all places did you bring me here?"
"You asked me what I like to do, what my favorite thing is."
"Ah. Yeah I can understand why." I said taking a sip of my wine.
We lay there, the breeze was cool but comfortable, as we watched the sun go down.
He lay down on his back, his hands rested behind his head. I looked down at him, it didn't matter what he was doing he looked great at every angle.
I set my glass down and lay on my back as well as I admired the now pitch black starless sky.
"I like coming out here, especially at night."
"Why is that?"
"It gives me a sense of peace. Everyone has that specific place where they feel at peace, in harmony and this is mine." he said still lying down.
I could see why. It was very peaceful.
