Chapter 8 Beginning of training
As promised by Leondra, she began teaching Henary some martial arts techniques that would undoubtedly make him strong in no time.
"Goodness, this is exhausting. But I can't give up; this is just the beginning," Henary said enthusiastically.
Leondra smiled slightly, then wiped the sweat from Henary's face with her hand. Leondra could feel her hand as if it had been struck by electricity when she wiped Henary's sweat.
"Even his sweat alone makes me feel like this. And his body odor is truly intoxicating," Leondra said to herself as she stared at her slightly trembling hand.
"What's wrong? It looks like you're thinking about something," asked Henary.
"Of course, I'm thinking about you. Even in the early stages, I can feel that you have tremendous power, Henary," said Leondra without looking at Henary.
"Are you sure? Can I really be that powerful, Leondra?" said Henary with a doubtful expression.
It was only natural for Henary to doubt her own abilities. She had always been an ordinary human, and even after marrying Alpha Almarjaf, she only had the power of a servant.
"The important thing to become strong is to believe in yourself. Never doubt your own abilities," said Leondra as she gently rubbed Henary's back.
"You used to only have the strength of a servant because that stupid Wolf didn't love you. Now that you're with me, I won't let you be a weak woman who is easily looked down on by anyone," she continued in a firm voice.
Henary's eyes welled up with tears upon hearing Leondra's words. "Leondra, we haven't known each other for very long. But you've been so good to me, I'm very lucky to have met you." Leondra smiled slightly upon hearing Henary's words.
"I've known you for a very long time, Henary, even when you were still in your mother's womb," Leondra said to herself.
"I know we have the same ancestry from the witch clan, but I didn't expect you to be this kind to me. All this time, both the Wolf clan and the witches have always looked down on me," said Henary softly, holding back her tears.
"Don't compare me to them. Obviously, I'm not part of them. The first time I saw you, I could feel the tremendous energy held within your body," Leondra explained.
"But that's not the most important thing. You're a good girl and your face is very beautiful. It would be a shame if I weren't nice to you," she continued with a chuckle.
"I don't think I'm that beautiful. The queens of other clans are more beautiful than me," Henary replied.
"That's your opinion. In my opinion, you are the most beautiful. I'm surprised at that stupid Wolf for being able to resist touching you," said Leondra with an annoyed expression.
"You once said that Wolves are loyal to their partners? And you know yourself that Alpha Almarjaf doesn't love me, he only loves Earl. Maybe now they're making offspring," muttered Henary.
"Let them be. Their offspring will definitely be bad," grumbled Leondra.
"I don't know. But what is clear is that Alpha Almarjaf will not make the wrong choice, and must have the best offspring. Their offspring will become the leaders to fight the Vampire clan," explained Henary.
"The offspring of those foolish Wolves aren't worthy of harming the Vampire clan," Leondra growled.
Henary looked at Leondra with a strange expression. "You seem to be more on the Vampire clan's side than the Wolves'. We do hate the Wolf leader, but never side with the Vampire clan."
Leondra's blood boiled when she heard Henary's words. She certainly did not accept what Henary had said.
"Why would you say that? Do you hate the Vampire clan?" asked Leondra, holding back her anger.
"Of course. Before my father died, he told me to stay away from the Vampire clan because they are very dangerous. My mother was once kidnapped by the Vampire leader," said Henary.
"I've never met the Vampire leader myself, and I don't know why he kidnapped my mother. But I definitely don't like him," grumbled Henary.
"Damn witch! Good thing you're dead," Leondra muttered to herself.
"If you meet the leader of the Vampire clan, what will you do?" asked Leondra with a curious look on her face.
"If I'm not a strong woman yet, I'll avoid him as much as possible. But if I'm already strong, I'll definitely kill him," Henary replied firmly.
Of course, this made Leondra very emotional. However, Leondra tried to act normal.
"I won't let you kill me, dear. If you intend to kill me, I will first make you pregnant," Leondra said to herself.
"My father said my mother was kidnapped by the Vampire King for 10 years. Imagine that, 10 years he separated my parents," Henary grumbled with a displeased expression.
"My mother must have suffered greatly for 10 years with the Vampire King," she continued.
"That's impossible!" Leondra said spontaneously.
"Why do you say that's impossible?" Henary asked with a curious look on his face.
"Because I also love your mother. Unfortunately, she still loves that ugly witch. I hoped your mother could love me, but it turns out she can't. That's why I can't touch or have your mother," Leondra muttered to herself.
"My parents said that the leader of the Vampire clan is only interested in your mother's beauty. So he couldn't possibly hurt your mother," replied Leondra.
"Luckily, my mother only loves my father," grumbled Henary, making Leondra's face look even gloomier.
"It doesn't matter. If I fail to get your mother, I won't fail again to get you. I will make you fall in love, and you will be mine," Leondra said to herself.
"If your mother had turned away from your father, you might not have been born. And there would be no special girl like you," said Leondra as she gently caressed Henary's cheek.
In Leondra's view, Henary was far more attractive and had far more power than her mother.
"I don't know how special I am," Henary muttered as she held Leondra's hand that was touching her cheek.
"I can't explain it in words, and you will surely understand it yourself. When you realize it, you have to be careful because there will be many who will target you," explained Leondra.
"What do you mean?" asked Henary. She couldn't understand Leondra's words.
"You'll find out soon enough. For now, you just need to focus on training first," Leondra smiled slightly as she gently stroked Henary's head.
