Chapter 25 Sitara
Sitara.

The day of Kelly’s service comes as quickly as I want it to go. I can't believe she is gone just like that without anyone getting the chance to say goodbye.

Travis and Tristan both attended the service with me for support. I was shocked when I woke up and mom told me they were down stairs waiting for me.

The drive to Kelly's pack was silent, I guess everyone was still in shock. Once we arrived at the pack we were taken to the hall where the service was being held.

Everything was well decorated, the curtains hung were in her favourite colour. The balloon decorations were placed beautifully and a photo of her in a lovely gown was front and centre.

We took our seats and the service began, different members from her pack went up and said something about her. Once they were finished her mother also spoke a little about Kelly growing up.

Alpha Tony sat silently with his head hung, his shoulders dropped and you could see the tears streaming down his face.

He was crying and heart broken, both for a love he never got the chance to experience.
Hopefully the moon goddess takes pity on him and gives him another chance at happiness.

My attention is then drawn to the stage when my name is called through the lips of Kelly's mother. I calm my nerves and make my way up the stage.

Everyone is looking, waiting for me to speak but I can't. I feel like there is a huge lump stuck in my throat and no matter how much I clear it it just isn't coming out.

Tristan looks over at me and gives me a warm smile and Travis a thumbs up trying to encourage me to speak. It worked.

I talked about how Kelly and I met. It was the first day of college for me without Mariah and kyle. Kelly saw me eating a sandwich and asked if she could join me under the tree.

We had lunch from that day onward under that tree, then i talked about her smile, her goofy laugh. Just talking about it brought me to tears, I finished my speech and had to step down.

It's so sad to see what the world has come to, what men or women would do for their own gain. It's a pity there is more bad than good in the world nowadays.

After her service everyone made their way back to her home for eats and drinks. Her mother asked if it were possible for me to help serve the guest with her so I did.

Travis and Tristan disappeared not too long after we arrived at kelly's home, Alpha kane requested an audience with them in the packs hall.


I don't know what for and i didnt ask, they are Alphas after all they always have something to do or talk about.

The urge to use the washroom washed over me, Kelly's mother pointed me to the bathroom not too far down the hall.

After using the washroom and washing my hands I made my way down the hall but stopped half way when I caught a scent.

This must be her room, I push the door open and enter. Her room is painted in light blue and the walls are filled with photos and random decorations.

“Kelly loved random decorations, i never understood why, but i still would buy her random things everytime i went to the store.”

Her mom says sitting at the edge of the bed.

She pulls a brown blanket from Kelly's bed and holds it close to her chest,she then smells the blanket before handing it over to me.

I couldn't believe what I said when my head snapped back and eyes shut closed.

It's Kelly, she is alive and I know where to find her.
