Well, just leave it up to the idiot to ruin what was almost a good day. Not only did he break up with the girl in a text, but he also wore matching clothes just like mine.

The drive home is silent, and it's choking. Sitara is just sitting there on her phone scrolling away, and Travis is sulking in a corner.

while I'm trying to figure out if I'm really beginning to fall for this girl. Anger washed over me when I saw Hannah raised her hand to hit her, and I almost lost it.

Travis really knows how to find them, but what more do I expect from.a.guy who.has a fetish for women with attitude.

As we approached our grandparents' place, Sitara almost burst our ear drum with a loud scream, her face as fitted with shock and her eyes almost with tears.

"Can you, can you take me home."

"What's wrong? Did something happen?"

"It's Kyle he was attacked by a group of rogues on his way from work."

"OK, we are leaving. Let us just grab our stuff."

we got back to the pack in about an hour, and a Half Sitata wanted to stop and grab something for her friend from his favorite bakery.

Once we arrived at the packs hospital, she grabbed her overnight bag, the stuff for Kyle, and ran into the hospital without even looking back.

we followed behind. She had already made her way into the room and was sitting to the edge of the bed with her other friend Mariah, who was crying her eyes out.

"What happened?"

I asked.

"After work last night, he was on his way from the little mini mart. He had called me to see if I wanted anything, and I said no. He kept saying he had a feeling someone was following him, so I stayed on the phone with him.

After he bought whatever it was he went for he started walking towards the pack and that's when I heard him scream. someone had attacked him from behind, I heard him wolf Troy howling he was trying to fight, but I guess there were too many of them.

I mind linked Daniel and told him what was going on, and he, along with a group of warriors, caught up yo.him in time. His wolf was on the floor, bleeding and unconscious."

"It turns out that they injected him with wolfsbane before they attacked him, causing him to struggle to put up a fight. we caught one of them, and he spoke. I was about to call you both later tonight because we have a bug problem on our hands.

The wolves that attacked him were sent by Alpha Kane, and he said the attack was a second chance.
To basically get on board with his business proposal or risk coming under attack."

Daniel, our Beta, said.

Travis and I both knew something was coming, but we didn't expect this. On the night of the ball, Alpha Kane came to us with a proposal for his brand spanking new club.

He wanted us to invest in thirty 30 percent of the company and help it get off the ground, we didn't have a problem investing after all we would be generating more income and be able to sustain our pack.

The issue we had is the business, Kane wants yo open a nightclub that's going to be filled with dancer and other things, and being a dancer is illegal in the werewolf community. so we denied his offer.

"We have no choice but to reach out to the council."
Travis said.

"The council, the men that are sitting back waiting patiently for us to fail, that council?"

He replied.

"Yeah, do what ro you suggest we do, we fight them or send him a text letting him know we don't want problrms."

"What does a text have to do with anything?"
He shoved me on the shoulder.

"You wouldn't have a problem if you just acted Grown about the situation and not like some scared little child."

I pushed him back.

"Can we speak outside, please?"
Sitara asked, and we all walked to the hallway.

"Look, im not sure what is going on between the both of you, but can you please put it aside and try and figure out what you're going to do. If he could do this to Kyle, he could do much more to another pack member."

We both stay silent and look at each other.

"I'll text my mom and dad and let them know im back, I'll also have dad come get me later after work so you two can get some work done."

"I could get you after you're finished here it's no problem."

Travis said.

" I know you want to talk about what happened at the theater but I don't want to talk about it, I just want to sit at my friends bed side and wait for him to wake up."

"I know, but we have to talk."
Travis said.

"And we will when your day comes until then. I just want to be near jyle, ok?"

Travis just shakes his head and walks straight out of the hospital, Sitara then looks at me, and I can see the fear in her beautiful eyes.

"He is going to be ok, don't worry."
She gav3 me a little smile and then returned to the room with her friends.

Travus decided that he was going to walk back home while I drove, when I got there he hadn't arrived yet, mom and dad were both in the living room sitting watching television.

I walked past them both and straight into the kitchen, not without greeting them, first of course.

"I see you spent the weekend with your grand9arents, dis you take that girl to meet my parents ?"

"Yeah....."

I drank the water from the cup and then placed it into the sink.

"So yiu didn't do as I asked and ejected her?"

"Neither of us did."
Travis said as he came strolling in.

"Well, I'm sorry to say this , but you left me no choice. I will not be stepping down from my place as Luna. your father may have given you both his title, but I will not be giving that girl mine."
