The camera's turned on, and I began.

“The general public is aware of the rising mob activity. Most of you want reassurance.”

I look at all of them. “Let me reassure you: it's only the beginning. My wife has been taken by the Russians. Until I find her, there will be no rest, no peace for anyone.”

“You will not feel safe. You will not be able to sleep. And the longer she's gone, the worse it will get. I have tried to be humane. I don't kill innocents, I don't kill children, I don't rape women or children. But it seems that isn't working.”

“So here are the new rules: I will kill everything and anything. I will hunt every group and kill you one by one. If you walk outside your house you may get shot.”

“A bullet may stray through your window. I am taking the gloves off. No one is spared. Except children. I wouldn't advise you sending them out.”

“Chicago will be forced to shut down. If you want this to stop, it's simple. You find my wife and all will go back to normal. I resume my principles, and you can be assured that I will cause no harm to you.”

“Until then, there is nothing I won't do to find her, so for the good of, well, everyone, I would advise you look for her. Rival mob or not. Because you will be gunned down first.”

“I called you fine officers down here to warn you as well. You won't be able to stop this, so use your resources and hope, and pray to any deity you believe in that she's still alive.”

“In conclusion, I would like to apologise in advance for any lives taken. And to whoever has my wife, pray that God has mercy. Because I will show none.”
