I was happy with my golden card in hand and just had to give a few kisses to get it. Philip walked beside me laughing at my happiness and satisfaction. For Filipe it was just a card, but for me, an unlimited night of drinks and food.

Tonight promised and I urgently needed to share my plans with Vídia. But before that I needed to talk to Vídia about the latest events and make sure she wasn’t mad at me, which I was pretty sure she was.

I saw her from afar, sitting at a table and sipping a coffee or something. I walked quickly to meet him and sat in the chair next to him, without waiting for an invitation.

"You can hit me if you want, you can also destroy that teddy bear cushion you hate so much or you can hit me in the face. But on the left side, because my right side is the most beautiful". I speak everything very quickly, without giving way for her to expel me from there.

"Thank you Lia". Vídia talks giving me a hug, ignoring everything I had said.

That was so unexpected that I had no action to return the hug, I was just paralyzed. Wasn’t Vídia supposed to hate me?

"What do you mean? I missed something?" I ask confused, dropping my sunglasses on the table and staring at her a little stunned.

"I’m not silly Giulia, I know very well where I entered". Vídia speaks seriously and returning to take what he discovers was hot chocolate.

Vídia calls a waiter and asks for a hot chocolate for me, making me show a big smile. I liked Vídia because she knew me, knew my wishes even before they were said.

"Fernando hates Filipe, hates him with all his strength and before, I hated him too". Vídia tells me watching me drink my hot chocolate.

"What now? Has something changed?" I ask looking into her eyes, to know what Vídia truly felt.

"Remember school?" Vídia approaches me. " There were two boys who lived fighting and one day, when they were asked about the reason for the fights, they were silent. Why they did not remember more why they were fighting and why they continued day after day hating each other".

Dia says everything and I listen carefully, I understand what she meant.

"Fernando and Filipe remind me of these two boys". Speaks sighing and leaning against the chair, looking at the sky. " I even suspect that they don’t even remember why they fight so much or why they never decided to get it right".

I remember Philip’s words and all the resentment he expressed inside him, so to me, that made a little bit of sense.

"Philip will not change, Giulia". Vídia speaks suddenly, scaring me.

"What do you mean?" I ask totally surprised and confused.

"Filipe will not stop being head of the family, will not stop being tough and vindictive and I believe he will never walk with the law. That’s Philip. Are you going to take him like that? Why do I think you better decide soon. If you want to escape, go today, but if you want to stay, know that it is forever".

I didn’t say a word and I believe there was no word to be said. What could I say? I was confused and my feelings were premature. How could I decide to leave? Or rather, how could I decide to stay?

Vídia deserved a good slap for making me confused, so I decided one thing. I would deny to death. That was the only weapon available and would use it without caution.

"You are making things up and it only happens in your head". I speak showing a smile of conviction to Vídia.

"Here". Philip arrives without asking permission. " I bought sunscreen, take the card that you acted like a child to get and put this coat on the waist". Filipe talks looking serious.

Philip had that look of authority, could easily be mistaken for a policeman. I arched my eyebrow and looked with authority.

"Filipe, we’ve talked about it". I start speaking showing tiredness in my tone. " Coat is not to be put on the waist but to be worn on cold days. See if it creates sense silly boy". I speak by taking the things that Philip put on the table and putting in my bag.

"What if the guys stare at you?" Philip questions horrified, as if that was the greatest catastrophe that would happen on earth.

"Don’t worry, my ass will be whole at the end of everything". I reply showing him a mocking smile.

"After all, are you also engaged or are you in the denial phase?" Vídia asks us with a smile.

"None of the options!" Filipe and I responded together, we looked at each other a little scared by the coincidence.

Vídia laughed at both of us. I looked away from Filipe. I took some of the hot chocolate and threw it in Vídia’s pants, so he would stop laughing like a hyena. Vídia looked at me with blood in his eyes.

"Do you have any idea how much those pants cost?" she screams up and running after me.

And I’m not stupid or anything, ran from her.

"I’m sure it cost less than your tongue, which will be auctioned off as big as it is". I speak laughing still running from it.

I stop by the pool and Vídia does not have the same reasoning as mine, so we both fell in the pool. We returned to the surface and looked at each other, bursting into laughter.

Vídia threw water at me and I tried to drown her. Of course I was winning in the game, since the poor thing was thin as a toothpick.

"Enough, you’ll end up dying". I see Fernando talking with his arms crossed, with that disgusting face of always.

I roll my eyes at his comment and just don’t drown him right there because there was Vídia and other people there, so they were too many witnesses. But who knows at another time life is full of opportunities. And if one day it arises, I will take advantage.
