Chapter 8: Agree to help.
Around it was quiet. Uri knew Alex was gone. This made his tears flow even more violently. He bowed his head, hugged his knees, and tears flowed incessantly. Now he doesn't know what to do but cry.
Doesn't know how long, Uri felt his whole body stiffened by the wind when a cold voice suddenly sounded.
"Shut up now!"
Uri, surprised, raised his head. Alex did not know when he was standing in front of him. The faint moon shone down the dark alley, but Uri could clearly see his impatient expression.
"You... you..." Uri wanted to ask him why he was there, but his mouth could only move two words.
"Go home, now!" Alex looked at the red face of Uri, he said coldly.
Seeing him turn around, Uri's heart felt a little warm. At least he still cares about him. Uri hastily wiped his tears. Suddenly a thought appeared in his mind. Uri immediately looked up at Alex and said: "Can you... help me find my friends?"
Alex frowned slightly, then replied glacially: "I wasn't responsible for helping you."
Uri gulped, speaking his mind: "Just now... that guy... seems to be a vam... vampire..."
"So what?"
Uri saw his indifferent attitude, became urgent: "My friend... most likely has been by a vampire..."
Uri stopped talking here, he didn't want to think about the worst-case scenario.
Alex was still looking at him calmly, as if the fact that vampires were real hadn't surprised him at all.
Uri mustered the courage to look directly into his dark blue eyes, and said with difficulty: "Please..."
Alex showed no emotion, and once again turned his head to leave.
Seeing that Alex was about to leave again, Uri, without thinking, hugged his legs, his eyes closed, almost shouted: "Please... please, help me!"
Alex Dominic is the only person he can ask for now. Everything about Neil was so vague, that he couldn't last any longer.
Alex's face turned cold: "Let go of!"
Uri trembled but still hugged his legs tightly, constantly shaking his head: "Don't... please help me..."
Alex had an extremely disgusted expression, his wild face now becoming extremely unsightly. His hand clenched into a fist at his waist, a white light suddenly appeared.
"Uri, is that you?"
A gentle female voice suddenly rang out. Uri stiffened for a moment.
That's his grandma!
Can't let her see his current form!
Alex seemed to be startled by this voice as well, immediately looking down at Uri. Uri also looked at him, constantly shaking his head, his eyes pleading, as if begging him not to speak.
Alex slightly relaxed his hand, and the light disappeared.
"Uri? Uri?"
"Did I hear wrong?"
"...."
The closing sound sounded, Uri breathed a sigh of relief, but her hands still hugged Alex's legs.
"I'll give you three seconds to take your hands off my legs!"
Not knowing where Uri got the courage, he still stubbornly hugged his leg: "You saved me, why can't you save my friend?"
Alex looked at Uri, suddenly sat down, cold hand lifting Uri's chin, said in an emotionless tone: "Do you know how many people have died in my arms?"
Uri shivered slightly, his chin tightened, but he still tried to shake his head: "No... You not a bad person..."
"Why do you think so?" Alex gave a mocking smile as if he were listening to a joke.
"Because... because you helped me..."
"Just like that?"
Uri nodded firmly.
"Now I can kill you instantly."
Alex's hand moved from Uri's chin to his neck, his large hand wrapped around Uri's neck, slowly squeezing.
Uri's throat was already sore before, now it was even more painful to be squeezed by him with such force. Tears welled up in his eyes again, but he still managed to say: "Please... Only you can help me. Now I really don't know what to do... You can ask me whatever you want me to do..."
"Even your life isn't needed?" Alex unconsciously clenched his hand.
"Just... you... help me find my friend..." Uri nodded, speaking with difficulty, his face both red and white.
Alex looked into his watery light brown eyes, silent, not to say anything, like he was thinking about something. His dark blue eyes became deeply.
*Cough! Cough!*
Uri was suffocated, finally unable to bear it, and hit Alex's arm that was strangling his.
Alex was startled for a moment, removed his hand from Uri's neck, stood up, and said coldly: "Tomorrow, go to the police station to find me."
Uri was slightly stunned, not knowing why he agreed, but quickly replied: "Okay! Okay!"
"Now, go back home..."
Uri hugged his neck, nodded quickly: "I got it... Thank you!"
Alex said nothing more, turned, and left.
Uri looked at him leaving the alley, then stood up with difficulty. He leaned against the wall and went home.
Slowly opening the door, the light in the house was turned off, only a small light emitted from the small night lamp hanging on the stairs. Uri tried not to make a sound. Looking at his grandmother's room with the lights off, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Grandma is probably already asleep.
Uri returned to his room. Exhausted, he fell onto the bed. Looking at the ceiling, a series of events that happened earlier like a tide flashed through his mind.
Are humans annoying?
What does this guy mean? Is he not human?
Does that guy follow him? Does he know Neil?
If he really... is a vampire... is Neil still safe?
Also, Alex Dominic... Uri subconsciously put his hand on his neck. Thanks to him, he can lie here now. But, why did he appear there? He still follows him too? Not impossible! Maybe he just wanted to go to the crime scene. And, what was he thinking in the end?
Uri felt a pitting headache, he rubbed his forehead, didn't want to think any more. Had gone through so much today that he felt extremely tired.
After a while, Uri lazily stood up, stroked her face, found clothes, and, entered the bathroom.
Looking at his neck with 5 fingers clearly marked, Uri sighed softly, not sure if it was Alex's or that of the other man. He lightly touched the neck, his face immediately turned white, not expecting it to hurt so much. Tomorrow maybe he should hide it so that grandma can't see it.
Uri just took a short shower and left the bathroom. It was almost 2 AM, thinking that he still had to go to work tomorrow morning, he quickly turned off the light and climbed into bed. Perhaps because of having not had a good evening, Uri fell asleep immediately.
