CHAPTER 87

**Kapittel 87**

**"No,"** Hades said gruffly and gripped Stef's wrists tighter, causing the poor boy to wince in pain. The man was probably aware of all possibilities that Stef would do if he let him go, Allison understood that.

Out of the two parties, someone spoke from the group, "Hades." It was the all-innocent Delphine with large, doe-like eyes. The invoked man turned his head to look at her who was frantically pale as a cadaver because of broad anxiety and profound pity for her friends. "Let him handle her..." she said, every word crunching in pain.

He stared at her briefly, trying to read her through the eyes, trying to read something intangible that Allison could not name, probably finding it, he soon released the restrained Stef. Seeing the pain in Delphine's orbs rendered the man convinced no sooner. He loosened his grasp on the teen's wrists, who then took the opportunity to yank himself away from Hades and in a turtle's pace, made his way to Océane, who was as dead as a log.

"Come here," he told the drunken girl sternly, his eyes scorching with weariness and worry, anger and confusion were already long gone. He held the girl's arm softly and coiled it around his neck; Allison then took her cue to disengage herself from Océane, giving Stef full responsibility of taking care of the heartbroken girl.

"Take care of her," she whispered to him and he nodded at her before holding his friend's waist tightly like how a python would do to his prey and walking his path back to the resort.

As soon as they were gone, Khuleen asked the couple, "What took you guys so long?" her eyes scanned them scrupulously like a thermal scanner in the airport, she stilled when she saw a small reddish bruise on Hades' neck. Her lips instantly curved into a sly smirk. "It seems that Allison took her time to comply with her dare."

Allison was caught off guard. "W... well..." she wasn't able to muster any retorts at the remark, her mouth slightly gaped apart and her cheeks burst crimson red. She clandestinely looked at the man over her shoulder and saw his face slightly tinged red just like hers!

"They must've taken their time doing their heated session," said Alissa with her lips etched into a mocking grin. The redhead looked at her with eyes wide like saucers, undeniably surprised by Alissa's response. The girl wasn't speaking like the eldest in the group! Earlier, she was acting like the most mature with a way-to-go leader vibe among the group, but now, that girl was gone!

All Allison could do was internally sigh in disappointment; she had lost her faith in the youngsters. They shouldn't have drowned themselves with beer or any other alcohol. It made them not only lose themselves and also their sanity!

"You mean *sexsion*," Stijn added which made everyone in the spot laugh, except for the couple who were both silent and mortified due to the teens' assumption. They might be physically young but they weren't acting of their age! All of them may think both childishly and maturely as an average young adult does, but they're still not on that level where they discern when to be childish or mature!

"What do we know? One thing always leads to another," added a flushing Alexandre that stunned her. The timid Alexandre was gone, completely gone!

"Okay, okay, enough. I think it's time to call it a night," Hades' voice boomed that rendered her to hear the angels from the divine heaven singing relentlessly with their voices serenely beautiful like no other that it could make the mermaids dwelling in the ocean jealous and the banshees stop wailing.

"No, no, no, no." Estelle shook her head that was hanging low profusely and came in front of everyone else with her legs wobbly like a baby walking for the very first time. She lifted her head, showing off her shallow face, highlighted by her tipsy, extremely rosy cheeks, and said, "Not until I knock out."

"What?"

The teen grinned widely like how the Cheshire cat on Alice in Wonderland did, causing Allison to cringe because of how the girl looked so eerily. "Everyone here..." she flailed her arms around. "...knows that I get knocked out so easily. So let's down a few more shots and play a bit more, and if I lose it, then let's call it a night! Deal?"

**"Spin that bottle!"** Guillaume cheered, laughing his drunken ass off, making Allison wince and stick herself to Hades' warm body closer. She noticed that among the members of the group, only Guillaume was the most aggressive, especially when drunk.

She mentally chided herself for agreeing with Estelle's deal. She could've just scolded them for being immature friends and individuals then walk out with Hades but she didn't. She stuck up her ass over her head and made it a hat instead and agreed to Estelle's damned deal. Everyone in the group wasn't thinking vividly and it was stupid of her to go with their flow. The woman scolded herself internally for being stupid. They had been playing Truth or Dare a few hours from the time she agreed to the deal, and Estelle still hadn't been knocked out yet. She wasn't weak when it came to the art of drinking, she was a heavy drinker!

She felt Hades' buff arm wrap around her shoulders. She looked up and saw him looking down at her with much sweetness, much passion in his eyes. Looking at his loving gaze made her heart hammer erratically. He' was looking at her like she was the loveliest woman in the world. He made her feel loved.

"Ooh! Hades!" a drunken Delphine suddenly cheered. The girl's now acting as if no commotion had happened earlier. The power of booze, indeed. The power of booze.

Allison's eyebrows kissed in confusion, so she stared down at the bottle and realized the bottle's rim was pointing at Hades, who was still looking at her like the most beautiful and fresh rose in the garden. She tugged his shirt that hanging loosely on his body and muttered, "The bottle's pointing at you."
