Unexpected
Reyna’s P.O.V
Far away from the farce of the banquet in London, an unknown page has been opened for Reyna in Birmingham...
The Life Care Hospital. Situated in the centre of Washington. One of the Royal hospitals in the whole of the United Kingdom under the famous Royal family. The Wave. The dangerous and one of the most influential royal families on earth. After Pattson Families.
And there in the topmost private rooms, only reserved for the royals, seating a man in his mid-thirties with his absolutely cold and dark aura and a Godly sculpture. His golden-green eyes were as sharp as an Eagle, focusing on the white wall in front of him, while his ears were busy listening to his assistant.
The man was none other than Pattson Ryger.
What's he doing here? Where has he been all this while? Where is the River? Cold as an iceberg and dark as a black hole, Pattson Ryger was the most feared leader and Royal member in the Pattson family. He has changed a lot; he speaks less and has seen even less.
"When Hailey and her mother Implicated River and formed him for stealing two years ago. He was sent by the Russians. He was locked in the dark cell, and Ryger and I helped him escape from the cell his father locked him up in. I was In shock." His loyal assistant, Caleb was reporting to him.
"So if Ryger us work as Mrs Diana Wave. Then who is the guy in the mask?
Ryger’s P.O.V
Is that Reyna? What is she doing Here? I was lost in my loss.
Caleb was taken aback for a second. I didn't really expect me to ask about a woman in between his work. Master has changed toward a woman since last night.
"Nothing at the moment. We couldn't get the surveillance." Caleb answered, covering his surprise.
Moving from the white wall, those golden-green eyes snapped at him. No one really has the guts to look in them and talk, nor anyone would dare to do that, till that mysterious woman from last night. He never had a night like that ever. Is River Aware of Reyna!
I look at the question, and Caleb knows that. Lowering his head, he responded, "The hotel was recently bought by the Wave corporation, that's why."
My eyes glint with dark curiosity as my sharp brows furrowed together slightly. 'What is this Wave corporation?' I always wondered. Since childhood he always got to know one rule of their family - 'Stay away from the Pattson corporation.' Both families had a non-interference agreement between them.
No matter what happens, none of them intervened in each other's decisions or works.
Nor, had I ever seen any of them. I never knew the reason behind it, nor did I ever ask. So, it's just an unsolved mystery for me, which I really want to crack someday.
When I was engrossed in thoughts, suddenly a knock on the door interrupted them.
"Come in." I permitted and a doctor went inside.
"My Lord, my lady has woken up." The doctor informed him.
Basically, it's his new foster mother for whom Ryger came to Washington. He was suddenly called this morning about his Foster mother's weak physical condition. She lost consciousness after waking up in the morning.
"Hmm." Ryger nodded with his usual cold expression.

In the other private room, a woman was half lying on the bed, with an IV attached to the back of her hand.
She is Diana, The Twin's foster mother. A gorgeous and elegant woman by posture and nature. However, her beautiful face was dull and filled with uncertain tension at the moment. Yes, she was ill but it's more of a psychological issue than a physical one.
This morning, she had an incubus where two twins were fighting over something. Both wanted the same and no one was ready to let go. This made her anxious about the deep, dark secret she was hiding from the world and the twins.
A truth, which could destroy lots of things and would be the reason for many broken promises. The truth should be hidden as if it never existed. And the dream alone was enough to make her tremble with an uncertain future.
"You should eat something, signora. You are always in tension because of the young master. But, you still need to take care of yourself." Her loyal assistant, Rebecca said in concern.
Diana sighed with a feebled expression. The light has gone from the face. "I wish I could, Rebecca. But, you also know that I can't. My heart flexed with the thought of what would happen when this buried secret....." Her words stayed in her mouth when the door opened and Diana went inside.
"Ryger, you are here." A sweet smile formed on her face lightly brightened up.
"Hmm." Diana's expression did not change.
"Young master." Rebecca nodded respectfully as she walked out of the room along with Caleb.
"How are you doing?" I asked after the door was closed.
"Fine, as well." Holding the smile she watched me with love.
"Come here, seat." She patted the bed beside her. I was standing with my hands in my pant pockets. I did not deny it directly but said, "Seems you are fine now. So, I will be leaving." The situation was not comfortable with my foster mother and it's not situated in the lovely talk.
When she is fine, I could leave.
My cold words faded the smile on Diana's face. Her face falls.
Not much she could see my face because of a misunderstanding in the past. That ruined our relationship with our father. Diana is my late mother's sister. Still, she knows I care for her, and that's why, hearing about her illness, I came, leaving my work behind.
"You will... leave..." Diana spoke and that felt like she was trying to convince herself. Her eyes lowered, fidgeting with the quilt on top of her. She wanted me to stay a few more times with her but how would she ask for that? She did not know.
I turned around to leave. Nothing was remaining for me to say. But, as soon as I moved, Diana's expected voice stopped me. "Your grandfather (Diana's father, who's my late mother) has picked a suitable fiancée for you and your brother. We both hope you both can start your own family, Ryger. Will you meet her, for us?" She tilted her head, wanting to catch a glimpse of my face but I was standing back facing her, impossible for her to see me.
But Diana did not reply anything, nor did he turn around to face her. Slightly looking beside, I just said, "Take care." And walked out, maintaining my cold demeanour.
After I was out, Diana only could exhale a sigh of repentance.

Walking out of Aunty Diana's room, I directly came to the rooftop of the hospital. It was designed to park a helicopter and mine was waiting for him.
Without another word, I went inside the copter and Caleb followed him. Already got the instructions from me.
I looked outside as my eyes sparked with flames of dark desire, recalling Reyna. 'I never got to confess my feelings to her 'cause I was busy flirting with other ladies. Now she is with My twin brother, and it hurts a lot.
