Abhimanyu Singh:- best friend of Ronak and his company's legal advisor.
Nandini Khurana:-
She is a very innocent, cute and introverted girl. She has one sister named Ishita (identical twin). Love Amaira the most. She can do anything for Amaira. She is an orphan.
Ishita Khurana:- Nandini's twin sister. The exact opposite of Nandini. She is the biological mother of Amaira.
Chapter 1
Nandini's p.o.v
Hello everyone, My name is Nandini Khurana. I work in a small company as a receptionist. I have a sister, my identical twin, Ishita. We don't have our parents with us. They died when we were 5 years old. After that, we lived in an orphanage. Now we are 23 years old. My sister Ishita, has many big dreams. She likes to wear expensive clothes, late-night parties. She had many rich boyfriends in the past to bear her expenses. She is a little spoiled brat also but still, I love her the most after all she is my only family.
Today again I see Ishita vomiting in the washroom early in the morning. This has been happening for the last week. I have asked her many times to have a checkup but she never listens to me. But today I am going to take her to the hospital.
Writer's p.o.v
" Ishita,today you are going to listen to me and come with me to the hospital,'' Nandini said with determination.
" There is no need to go to the hospital. I know what has happened to me.", Ishita replies with a bored expression.
" What had happened to you?", Nandini asked worriedly.
" Just I am pregnant", Ishita said carelessly.
"What??, Oh God!! Are you sure about it? Who is the father? Is he ready to accept you and the child? Tell me!!.", Nandini asked, biting her nails in stress.
" Wow, relax Nandini. For your questions, yes I am sure about me being pregnant. My baby's father is Aryaman Malhotra. He and I had a one night stand. Not now but I am sure after the birth of the baby he will accept the child and marry me. He will not let his child live in poverty. After marriage, I will live like a queen .", Ishita said with dreamy expressions.
" Aryaman Malhotra, brother of Ronak Malhotra who is India's biggest businessman. I have heard Ronak Malhotra is a very dangerous man", Nandini asked with a shocked expression.
" Yes, he is the one. Otherwise, why would I have gotten pregnant with his child and not abort it till now? I want to use this child to complete my dreams", she said without any care.
" It's not right. You should not use your child like this. Here we are talking about a baby, not a thing. You should think about your baby and your future and not only depend on the baby's father. What if he refuses to accept the baby??", Nandini asked her, feeling bad for the baby.
" He will accept the child. I am sure of it. And I don't want to listen to your lecture. So please mind your own business ", Ishita said arrogantly.
" I am your sister, Ishita. I will never want anything bad for you." feeling bad Nandini said.
" Whatever", Ishita said, rolling her eyes and going from there.
Nandini's p.o.v
I don't know what will happen with this girl. I am more worried about the baby. I hope Ishita changes her lifestyle after the baby's birth and becomes a good mother. I will try my best to help her.
After some months,
Yesterday Ishita gave birth to a baby girl.I fell in love at first sight with her. She is so small, so cute. I feel very protective towards her after seeing her.
"Ishita ,what are you going to name her.", I asked, picking the baby.
" I don't have time to think about her name. You give her the name you want.", Ishita said without any care while using her mobile.
" Me? U sure?", I asked with hesitation.
" Yes you, your wish!!", Ishita said.
" Ok then our cute baby girl's name will be Amaira from today", making cute faces for the baby, I said.
" I think Amaira likes her new name. See she is smiling listening to her name", I said happily and looked towards Ishita . But Ishita was already sleeping.
Amaira is now two months old. She is growing very fast. Ishita has not changed. She still goes to late-night parties leaving her daughter alone. She doesn't care about Amaira. Most of the time Amaira lives with me. I have arranged a babysitter when I have to go to work. Ishita can't handle Amaira, not even for a day. Last month only Ishita tried to hurt Amaira to make her stop crying. From that day, I never left Amaira alone with Ishita. One day Ishita came to me.
" I am going Newyork with businessman Varun Singhania next week. In Newyork, I am going to marry him and live my dream life.", Ishita announced.
" What about Amira?? Did Varun know about Amira??", I asked her shockingly.
" No, he knows nothing about Amaira. I already sent an email to Aryaman about Amaira with her pic but I think he is not interested in her. So, she is no use to me. I can't take her with me and let Varun know about her. So I am going to drop her off at an Orphanage.", Ishita said heartlessly.
" No, you are not going to do this. I will not allow you to drop Amaira at the orphanage. I am alive. I will not let her suffer as we suffered in childhood. If you don't want her then I will have her. I will adopt her. As of today, she is my daughter. I am her Mother from now. ", I said to her. I never thought Ishita could be this heartless.
" I will let you adopt her if you will keep her away from my life. From today, I will have no relation with her.", Ishita said to me.
" Okay I am ready. From today, Amaira will be my daughter only.", I said.
Next week we complete the adoption formalities in court and from the court only. Ishita takes her bag and leaves for Newyork, leaving me and Amaira behind. I hug Amaira close to my heart and move towards our house.
After one year
Writer's p.o.v
We can see two men running madly inside a hospital.
" Doctor!!! How is my brother? ", the first man asked, running towards the doctor who was coming from I.C.U.
" Your brother is very critical because of the accident. There are very few chances of his survival. If you want, you can meet him", the Doctor said and went from there.
" Ronak, have faith in God, go and meet Aryaman", the second man said first.
" I don't have that much courage, Kabir. I can't ….see him like this I... can't ", Ronak said to him while crying.
" You have to Ronak, you have to. If you will break like this then how will you handle your family.", Kabir said to Ronak encouraging him.
Ronak went inside and saw his baby brother injured. Feeling Ronak's presence, Aryaman said with a weak voice", bro...br...o".
" I am here only Aryaman, your brother is here with you ", Ronak said, taking Aryaman's hand while controlling his tears.
" Bro I.. don't. have much ..time"," Don't say like that . Nothing will happen to you. I am here only. Don't worry", Ronak said, cutting him
" Bro .. listen to me. It's .. important.2 years ago, I went..to a party. There a girl..name Ishita Khurana..drug me and .. spend a night ..with me...After some months..she emails me and tells...she is pregnant...But I don't believe her...Then last year ...she again sends me..a mail-in...which there was...a picture of baby girl...She said...that baby is mine….I was very confused and ... scared...I didn't know what to do…..I didn't reply to her...that time...but after that, I think what if...that baby is mine...I can't leave her with that...woman...I try to find ..her but I was ... unsuccessful ...I want u to find ...her and raise my ...baby girl ... protect my child ...All information which I ..collect is on my laptop….bro ..(cough, cough)", While saying all these Aryaman start to take heavy breathing. He was feeling difficult to breathe.
"Aryaman what happened? are you ok? Aryaman!!! Doctor!!! Doctor!!!!", Ronak shout.
" Bro…. promise me ...you will find me...
daughter...and...raise her …. promise me", Aryaman said with difficulty while taking heavy breaths.
" I promise, Aryaman. I promise", Ronak said to him crying.
Meanwhile, the doctor came there. Nurses tell Ronak to go outside and they start to treat Aryaman.
Ronak and Kabir were waiting outside. After some time the doctor came outside.
" Doctor, Aryaman?", Ronak asked.
" I am sorry. He is no more ", the doctor said with a sad face.
"No!!!No!!! You are lying. My baby brother will be fine. Nothing will happen to him. No, you are lying ", Ronak said, gripping his shirt's collar.
" Ronak, leave him. He is a doctor, leave him", Kabir said, separating Ronak from Doctor.
" I am sorry from his side ", Kabir said to the doctor with wet eyes.
Ronak was sitting in a corner and crying. Kabir went there and hugged him.
