Chapter 135: Concussion
Before Sarah prepared to go, Grace gave her a brown envelope.
“What's this?”She asked and opened it, she brought out the paper inside and stared at it.
“That is what the document we need looks like; you go there and be smart,” Grace told her. Sarah chuckled, kept the document in the envelope, and dropped it on the floor.
“What are you doing, Mrs. Hudson? Are you helping me or using me?”She asked, opening her eyes wide, Grace took a deep breath and picked up the envelope.
“first of all, don't call Mrs Hudson, you call me Grace, now listen, this is step one of getting at Micheal, and I promise you to do anything you wish to me if this doesn't work, normally, I'm not supposed to be helping Lucas, but you see Sarah, love has a-
“Yeah, I know; I see how much you love him; the joy when he woke up and the rest, pretty obvious”, Sarah uttered, glaring at her. Grace smiled and raised a car key.
“you've got a license?” Grace smirked, Sarah felt happy about this and snatched the keys
“I don't need a license,”, She told her, took the envelope, gave her a stare and walked off; Grace exhaled slowly.

That afternoon, Dr. Cooper was signing a discharge for Lucas, Emily was packing up her stuff and getting ready to go, and Lucas was at the side putting on his clothes.
“Will Grace be back soon?”He asked, and Emily nodded; suddenly, Lucas experienced a concussion and fell flat on the floor.
“Lucas!” Emily screamed, shaking him.
“Dr. Cooper!”She yelled and ran to call Dr. Cooper.
Grace drove very fast to Dr. Cooper's hospital; she got down and hurried into the hospital; she met Emily at the reception.
“What's going on Emily? What happened?”
She asked impatiently. Emily held her, and they hurried towards the hospital Emergency room, where they met Dr. Cooper along the hallway; Grace held him.
“I'm sorry Grace, I did an extra checkup on him on the PD, I was 100% sure he was okay, that concussion is-
“Come” Grace took him to the side and stared at him deeply.
“I gave him the injections to prevent concussions, and I gave him his weekly treatment, and the results are okay”, Dr. Cooper explained again.
“What else can cause this uh-concussion? Can someone do it?”Grace asked and Dr. Cooper nodded, suddenly something clicked.
“Lucas was not supposed to take water for 3 hours, and it's fifteen minutes left before the hours are over, do you think?-
“Someone must have served him water with something in it”, Grace concluded and rushed to the emergency room to see Lucas.

Micheal took Sarah to Mrs. Silver's house and introduced her as his second-hand person. Sarah smiled, and they sat down; Mrs. Silver brought out the whole document and kept it on the table.
“I summon one of you here every day so you will know how far I have gone with the job; I am that with all my clients”, S “sheltered and started giving Micheal the documents one after the other. Micheal cross-checked each of the documents and nodded.
“Alright, these are complete”, Micheal uttered; Sarah tapped him.
“What's this?”She asked in a whisper.
“Our way of taking Lucas down,” He told her.
After the meeting, Micheal went to a side to answer a call while Mrs Silver briefly went inside her house. Sarah was left alone with the documents looking at her; she suddenly became scared, not sure if she should seize this opportunity.
She stood up and rubbed her hair, took out the envelope from her bag and brought out the shareholder registry that Grace gave her. She started going through the documents in front of her for the one that looked exactly like the shareholder registry on her hand.
Meanwhile, Micheal smiled as the person on the other end of the phone told him he had succeeded in extending Lucas's stay at the hospital.
“Good, now we move on to the plan; call Mr Victor and tell him we are ready to move” " he uttered and hung up.
He hurried back to meet Sarah and Mrs. Silver and met them staring at each other face to face.
“What happened?”He asked.
“Well, you should ask your little second-hand person. I saw going through the documents like she needed to do something hastily”, Mrs. Silver uttered, and Micheal stared at Sarah.
“I was just going through them; I wanted to see what the certificate of ownership document looked like; my dad told me about it once,” Sarah uttered, staring into Micheal's eyes and praying that her eyes didn't betray her. Micheal smiled and whispered something to Mrs Silver.
“I see” She muttered and gave Sarah a cold stare.

At night, Grace and Emily drove home to get more clothes for Lucas. They were able to stop the concussion, but ever since Lucas was told someone offered him water and he wasn't meant to take water, he has been mad and pondering who that person could be.
Upon arrival, Emily and Grace saw Carl sitting outside the gate of the mansion feeling very frustrated
“I couldn't stop them, we were only two on duty and I couldn't-
“couldn't stop what Carl?”Grace asked impatiently.
“Some men came here and ransacked the house, they shot the other man and beat me up
Grace didn't wait for him to finish; she ran upstairs to their room, opened the big safe box inside Lucas's dressing home and sighed with relief; the money was still intact; Emiiy ran upstairs to her.
“Everything is intact,” She told her, and Emily nodded with relief, too. Grace brought out her phone and played a video.
“You installed cameras in the house?”Emily asked, surprised.
“Yes, I did, and who are these people?”
Grace asked as she watched the footage of what happened.

Lucas couldn't sleep that night. He couldn't help but think about the person that landed him right back on the hospital bed.
