Bacchus
Violet was standing up against the cottage thinking to herself They will believe I am giving myself up, because Eli is going crazy that I left. I need him to be the driving factor in covering up my plan. Alright, I need to get closer to the Cabin without getting caught. I don't want Bacchus getting to me first. She stood up and slowly walked beside the trees for cover. Just a little further then I can yell out in surrender. She almost got to the driveway when she heard something behind her. She turned around and something hit her in the head knocking her out cold.
Alex and Christoph stared at Eli. "Are you sure she is in pain?" Christoph asked.
"She was but now there is nothing. We have to find her." Eli growled knowing his mate was in trouble.
Christoph looked down, ashamed of letting his alpha go. "Eli, we need to go to the Cabin now."
"What do you know, that I don't?" Eli asked something dark stirred behind his eyes.
"I can't tell you, but we must go now." with that they started sprinting out of the house. Eli could smell his mate. He ran faster following the scent. "Eli, slow down, it may be a trap." Christoph yelled at his son.
Eli slowed to a jog when the cabin came to view, what he saw sent a cold chill through his veins. There were no less than five rogues guarding the entrance to the cabin and another six in the tree line facing it. She has to be here. Look at all the rogue guards. Eli linked to his father. I am going to try to get a closer look. The window blinds are open. He quietly moved through the trees keeping his eyes on the window when he saw Cora tied to a chair and an unconscious Violet being carried by a man Eli didn't know. They are in the cabin.
Eli, get back here now your brother is shifting! Eli ran back to where his brother and father were. His brother was shaking all over. He was sweating and gritting his teeth then all of a sudden his bones started rearranging, making popping and snapping noises until he was a beautiful blonde wolf the size of a grizzly bear. He looked around with his piercing blue eyes. The wolf panted letting his tongue lulling out of his mouth.
Welcome, brother! I am glad to have you here with me.
Christoph placed his hand on his youngest son’s broad back. Are you hurting much son that came on quick?
No, that didn’t hurt the way you all talked about it hurting. I think I might be a natural.
You are bigger than I was when I first shifted. Eli chimed in.
Yeah well, we all knew I had the better genes. Now let's save our women! Alex responded
We can't just run in there with no plans, son. We have to think this through. Follow me we need to meet with the warriors. Christoph led them off towards the trees further down the lake.
Violet's eyes opened and she was instantly on high alert and realizing her body was on fire. She turned her head to see she was in a rogue's lap. "Get off me" Violet growled and stood up quickly. She then saw Cora and started running towards her when something pulled her back. She looked down and realized her arm was chained to a cement weight. "Clever" She spat at no one in particular. She was looking Cora up and down. She had some injuries that she could see right away. A black eye and some bruising on her cheeks. There was some bruising on her neck which made Violet's hands start to tingle with her power. She knew she needed to wait to use it. She let it build there, feeling it and playing with it. She looked lower and noticed her best friend's collar bone had an unnatural dip to it. Violet let out a fierce growl. "Who did that?" she yelled, pulling at her chain. She needed to get closer to her. "Cora, wake up! Please wake up." Violet said to her best friend her friend just groaned and rolled her head not opening her eyes.
Suddenly Violet smelled a scent that she would recognize anywhere: the strange mix of dirty socks and rancid meat. Bacchus came out from the kitchen with a grin. "Violet, I am so glad to see you joined us. Was my friend too close for comfort though?" Violet snarled at him pulling at her chains. "Naughty, naughty. That is no way to treat your house guest. Besides, your scent is pulling my rogue pack closer and closer to this house. You really shouldn't leave the house when you are in heat."
"Your pack. Rogues don't have packs; they only look out for themselves. You asked me to leave my pack and I have now let Cora go." Violet demanded.
"Oh, Violet, first you insult my friends and then make demands, that is not how this works." Bacchus quickly moved closer to Violet putting one finger to her forehead causing her to scream out in pain. Bacchus laughed "You're in heat because you haven't finished mating. Wow, that must hurt. I am going to have fun with this." He looked at her, showing his sickly evil smile. She knew the look in his eyes for what it was: greed, lust, and malice. He grabbed her face. Causing Violet's whole face to burn. When he finally let go, Violet fell to her knees and panted.
Soon she realized she hadn't seen Liz. "Where is Liz? What did you do to her." She asked in concern, she may not like the girl but she was Alex's girlfriend and she would do what she could to help.
"Don't worry about me Alpha. I am fine" Liz said as she sauntered out of the hallway and into the living room. She slowly made her way up to Cora and yanked her head upwards by her hair. Violet growled. "You were right not to trust me Alpha, you have good instincts for being half-human." Liz spat. She looked over at Bacchus "Too bad her pack didn't believe her. You have some young pups easily pulled astray, Vi, you may want to fix that."
