Lunar Ceremony
Violet and Eli were ushered back in the house for lunch and to get ready for their mating ceremony. When no one was looking, Eli grabbed Violet's hand and dragged her into the bathroom. "You look amazing," He said, his eyes roaming over her body, looking hungry but not for food. He grabbed her face and eagerly kissed her, taking her all in. I can not wait to officially be your Lunar for all the packs to see. He linked while still passionately kissing her. You are all mine. I want all of you. Violet moaned in delight. Violet snaked her hands into his hands grabbing desperately needing to feel him closer. Eli brought his hands into her lush red locks and pulled her head back to have access to her neck. He kissed and licked, savoring the flavor of her skin. “More” moaned as she hooked a leg around his waist. Eli trailed his hands down her back and hitched up her skirt so he could have access to her lacy underthings. Just then a knock sounded at the door.
"Come on you guys can't you do that in your room," Alex yelled. "You kiss so loudly." They untangled their bodies and opened the door. Eli gave his brother a menacing look. "Mom said it's time to get changed."
Violet was taken back upstairs where Ashely and Sam were waiting again. Ashley took out the braids and let Violet's hair flow down her back. Just pinning a few strands out of her face in small twists. Sam changed her innocent look into a more sultry one giving her a smokey eye and a bright red lip. The dress for this event did not have to be any certain color, so Cora had gone into the closet and pulled out several different options. The dress Violet decided on was emerald green and matched her eyes. It was an old Hollywood style satin v-neck dress. It hung straight with minimal flare and a slit up one side that stopped just above the knee. She wore her Alpha crest and stud earrings. She looked at Cora and said, "What do you think?"
"If Eli doesn't want you in that then I will take you," She said with a small giggle "You look beautiful Vi!"
Violet was much more nervous for this ceremony. She just wanted to get downstairs and breathe in Eli's comforting scent. When the elevator doors opened, there stood Eli in a black suit, his dark blond hair combed to one side. He looked up and locked eyes with Violet, his jaw dropped open. Alex whistled earning him a smack on the head by his mother. Eli walked over to her quickly. "You look gorgeous. I don't know if I want to share you with anyone else right now. They might see you and challenge me." Eli said with a sparkle in his eyes. He wrapped his arm around her waist and leaned down for a gentle kiss. Violet laid her head on Eli’s chest and breathed deep. “Are you nervous princess?” he asked.
“That's Alpha princess to you” Violet replied with a small smile.”Of course I am nervous, no one had told me anything.”
“But not nervous about me right?” Eli questioned. She looked up at him in surprise only to see a hint of humor in his face.”
“Never about you” she giggled. He put out his arm for her to take and guided her towards the back door. "If that is what you are nervous about, then I will give you the run down. We will enter from behind the stage this time and enter together. You will present me as your Lunar. The Elders will have us cut our hands and mix our blood symbolizing that we are one in the pack." Eli told her as they walked through the woods to the back of the stage.
Violet turned to Eli and cupped his face before going on up to the stage. Kissed him gently and said, "I can’t believe I am saying this already, but I love you, Eli." They then joined the elders on stage.
Violet took her que from Elder Stan. He gestured towards a podium for her to stand at. She walked towards him and smiled. He whispered in her ear “Don’t worry I put a script up there for you. I won’t let you fail.” She made it to the podium and bowed to her pack.
“Thank you Blue Lake Pack members for joining us for a day of big change. I am honored to be a part of your lives in such a wonderful way.” Violet looked up at her pack members. She was surprised by the feeling of belonging and pride she felt just by looking at them. She went off script and spoke with passion and conviction “As you know many people I loved protected me so I could fulfill this destiny. When I showed up a week ago to Anthony lake, I felt completely alone. I thought I had lost all of my family. However I was wrong. I have walked on this stage and looked out at all of you and know I will never be alone. My family did not end with blood. I have a family that was waiting in the wings and I will always protect them. From every fiber of my being I will do what is best for my family. I will protect, love, and guide them with pride.” She looked down at the script and add key components “I have found my mate, my other half. He is a wonderful warrior and is dedicated to this pack in many ways. Because of this love he will make the best Lunar the Blue Lake Pack has seen in a long time. It is with great respect, love, and pride that I introduce to you all your Lunar Eli Hendrix Bennet.” She gestured for him to step forward. Eli came up and put an arm around her back in a protective show of affection and kissed the top of her head.
Elder Stan took over the ceremony. “As our Alpha has declared so it will be.” He exclaimed “let us join you in union by blood to show your dedication not only to each other but this pack.” A knife and gold goblet was brought out.
Eli took the blade and handed it to Violet, “you cut my hand first” he whispered. She took the blade and lightly dragged it across his palm. He then took the blade from her and cut hers gently. Eli then clasped his cut hand with hers mixing the blood from their cuts together and squeezed letting a few drops fall in the goblet of water.
Stan then announced “as your blood flows together it is a reminder of the life you protect and provide to the pack. Please stand and welcome our Alpha and her Mate.” The Pack stood and howled all around them.
After the ceremony ended they were walking back to the house to celebrate when a scout came running "Alpha there is a rogue wolf seeking asylum at the Anthony Lake border. She claims to be running from a rogue alpha who wants to kill her."
