ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FOUR

Dianna's POV

Three months later. After the battle with alpha Luggard, we prepared for our wedding. The much anticipated wedding with alpha Neil. The town was buzzling with activities as this was no longer news of my wedding with Neil.

On my way to visit af friend at the University, I met Levi. How I have forgotten about him after all these while. He walked up to me at the front of the stadium where I was standing waiting for my friend.

"It's been a long time." He said to me, I could tell he wasn't happy that we've not met for a while.

"Levi, how are doing after all these while?" I asked him.

" I heard you're getting married to your master." He said uninterested of my question.

I could tell he wasn't happy I was getting married. This wasn't what we planned, he thought he was going to end up with me. But I left him when he needed me the most and now I'm going to get married.

"I'm sorry, I love you regardless, but I have to do what's needed for my family. I have to take back what Tristan and his family stole from me." I said to him.

"so this was always about your family, did you stop for once to think about me?" Levi said looking really unhappy.

"Levi, you'll always be in my heart." I said to him as I touched his face.

"Then be with me, why do you have to be him. I know you want me. And I can give whatever Neil can give you, I mean I'm super powerful now." He said.

" I wish I could do that, but you aren't skilled yet in combat compared with Neil. And you don't have men to fight your course. In Neil, I see a secured future." I said to him.

I could see the anger in his eyes as he turned to look at a different direction.

"I'll prove to you I can be whatever Neil can be to you. You just wait and watch." He said and he quickly left.

I pondered on the words he just said to me, what's his plan? I just hope he wasn't planning any stupid or to jeopardize my marriage plans with Neil.

I went back home to find Neil and a strange old man in our house. My parents also were there and they all looked very happy.

"Here, Dianna, I've seen my long lost foster father, Smith. I guess what he's now an alpha." Neil said as he walked me towards the strange man.

"Smith here, Dianna, my wife to be in few days. Dianna Smith my foster father." He introduced us to each other as we exchanged warm greetings.

I learned he was going to be here throughout the wedding and also going to help us look after Neil's town when we finally go out to take back what belongs to us, my town.

"I've heard a lot about you, especially from your parents. They do really love you as everyone had only nice things to say about you." Alpha Smith said to me while I smiled back at him in response.

"Come on, let's start the wedding the preparations already." My mother said to me as she took me out of the living room.

On the eve wedding something unexpected happened. This wasn't how I wanted my night to end.

Levi came out from nowhere challenging Neil to a battle to have me. And when Neil found out that I was having an affair with Levi, he was really heartbroken.

"Please, it's not what you think. I love you, I want this marriage to pull through." I said to Neil as I tried to calm him down.

"Stop lying to everyone and pick a side already. How can you love two men at a time. This is the same thing you kept saying to me. Or are you just using us?" Levi said

"Stop it! Stop it already! My daughter is not a liar or a cheater. And don't know who you are, but you're going to leave the place right now and allow us continue our wedding plans." My mother intervened as she scolded Levi.

"You need to ask your daughter if I'm lying. I want her to deny me this minute, deny all the nights we've spent together, all the fun we've had." Levi said as tears began to stream down my eyes.

"What! Dianna what is he saying?" My father said to me.

I went to Levi and I immediately gave him a dirty slap on his face.

"Now leave this place, leave now before I expose your little secret to the whole world. And I say to you this moment, you'll die here, you're greatly outnumbered." I said to him with great pain in my heart.

"Dianna, why do you decide to break my heart. I loved you and I know you loved me too. You can call of this charade of a wedding and let's go home together." Levi said to me as he slowly recovered from the slap. I could feel he was heartbroken as well.

"I love Neil and only Neil I'll spend the rest of my life with. I can't spend my life with someone like you." I spoke out loudly.

Sadly, I had to do that to prove I was still in for this marriage. I turned to see Neil, he was also heartbroken. I walked up to him immediately.

"You can decide whatever you want, but I love you and I would want to marry you over anyone else, I'll you to your decision." I said to him.

I walked out of the room to save myself further embarrassment and also give myself some space to cry out my eyes. I didn't expect things to go this way so quickly.

I loved both of them, and I hate breaking both their hearts, but I had to choose who means more to me in terms of my future's security.

All I just had for Neil was sexual attraction but Levi was rather genuine. But Neil was a better option.
