Chapter 19

Max

I grabbed the desired bottle, opened it, and dropped a few drops of oil into the water. It smelled nice. Very different from the jungle and ocean smell. I checked the temperature and when it was nice and warm, I went back to Zi again. It was a big tub, so it would need a while to get filled up.

She still sat on the same spot but had fallen to her back, her legs dangling over the edge of the bed. Kneeling before her, I took her slippers off. “In a few minutes, you can relax in hot water instead of cold again.”

She sat up, grabbed my head, and let it rest on her thigh. “You’re so great,” she said, stroking my hair.

“You’ve cared for me. I want to return the favor.”

“You’ve returned it threefold already, honey.”

I looked up at her. “You’ve never called me honey before.”

“I know. I just wanted to say it.” She smiled. “It felt good. Honey.”

I stood up and let my hands rest beside both her hips, leaning onto the bed until my lips almost touched hers. I rubbed the tip of my nose over her nose and stood up, grabbing her hands with me so she would get up too. I then took her in my arms, lifted her bridal style, and walked us to the bathroom. She wrapped her hands around my neck and kissed my cheek a few times, nuzzling her nose over my face. Maybe quarantine in a luxurious room with Ziya was just as good as being stranded with Ziya. Or maybe even better.

The staff had said we could use everything in the room. We could also call them if we needed something we couldn’t find. They’d filled the fridge for us with light meals because the doctor said that our stomachs could become a little upset once we would eat “normal” food again. Too heavy or greasy food would probably leave us nauseous.

As Ziya enjoyed her bath, I laid down on the bed. I sucked in a breath of air and released it with a long sigh. The softness of the bed felt weird. I’ve only been missing this modern world for a short period of time, but the short period felt like months to me. By the time I would get home, it wouldn’t even be later than I would have originally returned home from my vacation. But look at the different man I was today.

Those evenings that Ziya and I had fantasized about getting invited to talk shows and giving interviews about being stranded on an island, and all... would those things happen once we were home?

“Max?” Ziya called out.

“Yeah?” I asked, getting up.

“Come here, will you?”

I rushed over to the bathroom and found her looking at me as soon as I stepped inside. “What’s wrong?” I asked.

“Nothing is wrong. I just wanted to ask if you joined me. I feel lonely. Is that weird?”

“Of course, not, babe.” I quickly undressed, her eyes never leaving me as I did. After a few hours of wearing clothes, I was shy all over again.

“Oh, come on, man.” She laughed, seeing my awkward face. “There’s nothing there I haven’t seen already.”

“I know. It’s just old habits, okay?” I answered, stepping into the water. “Oh, it’s still hot.”

“I just refilled it with hot water.”

After I sat down, she turned around and nestled herself between my legs, back rubbing against my chest. “Hm… now that’s better.” She moaned in satisfaction.

“You missed me this much in only a few minutes?” I asked, feeling my cock getting hard at the touch of her oily smooth ass cheeks rubbing against my shaft.

“I think you’ve missed me, too. At least one particular point of your body did…”

“You’re doing this on purpose, Zi.”

“Well, my period hasn’t started yet, but it will soon. And I’m not the kinda girl to have sex while she is on her period.”

“So, you want me to fuck you here in the tub? Is that why you called me?”

She giggled.

I wrapped my arms around her, feeling her breasts in the palms of my hands. “They’re slippery,” I said, letting her nipple run through my fingers until they were hard.

“It’s the oil.”

“You don’t say?” I chuckled, kissing the back of her neck. “I know it’s the oil.” All I could think of was how another part of her was always so slippery too.

“Fuck me, Max.”

Ziya

I smiled while looking at my phone, reading Max’s texts.

I miss you

Things have been crazy these past two weeks. Utterly crazy.

After the ship had sailed us ashore, we had to stay in a hospital in Chile for one whole week. Apparently, Chile was the closest country the ship was permitted to stop. It had been a weird time during the foreign hospital stay. Max and I couldn’t stay in one room and I honestly had never felt more lonely than I’d felt in that week.

I can’t wait to hold you again

After that, we flew back home and had to say goodbye to each other at the airport. It was hard, very hard.

Max and I had promised each other upfront that we would meet again, as soon as possible.

So when he’d asked me if he could fly my way this weekend—which would be tomorrow—I was so happy. That, until I sadly had to say no to his proposal. When I saw my mom for the first time, I realized that I had to spend time with my family this weekend instead of spending it with Max and he should spend time with his. Mom seemed at least ten years older since the last time I saw her, and it had only been a few weeks. It left me shocked. Our family wanted and needed our full attention, which was only normal. These people thought they had lost their children. There’s no worse feeling than that.

Back then, my decision to cancel Max and my own plans of hooking up felt like the right one, but right now, my family drove me crazy and I missed the guy a lot.

It felt like I was homesick while I was at home.

To kiss you

I scrolled through the long pages of messages and pictures. This nineteen-year-old boy didn’t have a Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram page, so we could only send texts via WhatsApp. Really, which guy his age didn’t have at least one social media account?

“Ziya, are you listening to me?” My mom asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Huh?”

“You should put your phone away, hun. Give that thing to me.” Mom held out her hand but I wasn’t gonna give her my phone. Fat chance. “I can see you’re tired,” she then said, withdrawing her hand again.
