Lorenzo.

My eyes narrowed as Kai's words resonated in me, "How the fuck was she able to.....Fuck!!!"

I clutched at my head as an intense pain shot through me. The migraine was back and worse this time.

This was strange on a whole other level. I had never gone this far, never lost my cool this way before, not with a filthy maid for goodness sake.

More strange was the fact that it was the best sex I'd had in a while. Even Ellie didn't come close.

"You don't have to worry about her. She is being taught a lesson at the dungeon."

I shook my head, dismissing the thoughts as I stood up on the sofa. Kai had brought me a fresh set of clothes the moment I woke, and I had taken a quick shower in the bathroom here.

"Is she awake yet?" I glanced at Kai, as I found myself making my way to the door.

It was mid-noon now, and I wondered if she was still asleep.

"I...I have no idea," Kai responded, "Haven't seen her all day."

I stepped out the door, quickly making my way toward the room. I had just made a corner down the hall when I heard a thud behind me. A little figure was on the floor of which--based on the outfit I could tell it was one of the maids.

"Have mercy, Alpha. Mercy, Please. Please..." She kept on repeating as she hit her head on the marble floors numerous times.

Irritation surged through me at the strange antics, and I made to walk past, but she suddenly held my legs, as she kept on pleading.

I drew my eyes to her, "Have you gone mad?"

"Please, have mercy, Alpha. She is innocent. Please...the dungeon...."

Curiosity got the better of me and I commanded, "Rise."

"No, please. You can kill me, but please, pardon her. She is innocent."

What the fuck is this brat talking about. My brows creased as I tried to make sense of her words.

Again, I commanded her to rise, and this time, she quickly stood up.

Her head was down and her trembling hands were clutched in front of her.

My voice was deep and commanding as I spoke, causing her to flinch back in fear, "Tell me, what the hell you are talking about, and you better pray to the moon goddess it is something worth my time, or I would have your fucking head on a platter."

Her eyes widened and her chest rose and fell rapidly. For a few seconds, she was quiet as she kept twiddling with her hands.

"Have you gone deaf? Or you suddenly lost your tongue?"

She bowed her head deeper, "I...she, she is innocent." She burst into tears at that moment, making me edgy.

"I would take care of her, Alpha. You need not be bothered." I heard Kai say as he showed up through the corner.

"And why the hell are these maids scampering around? Don't they have something meaningful to do?"

"Find out what she is talking about. I would be right back."

My interest was already piqued by her, but I had way more important stuff to worry about.

My room was just down the hall, and I quickly made my way there. But then, I found myself hesitating as I stood at the door.

Disregarding all thought, I pushed open the door.

The sight that greeted me made my brows shoot up in surprise. She was sitting on the bed, stark n@ked, her gaze on me like she had been waiting a while.

Except that it was not Valerie, but Ellie. Her cheeks widened in a smile upon seeing me and I frowned.

"What are you doing here? I asked, trying my hardest to keep my eyes on her face.

Her voice was low as she spoke, "I heard you were looking for me all night long, Lorenzo."

She stood up, and my eyes immediately went down to her perky breasts, the smooth texture of her skin the curve of her voluptuous hips.

She made her way to me, sashaying her hips.

She knew. She knew I had zero to no resistance when it came to her, hence the little show. But right at this moment, I was simply not in the mood, not when--when there was no trace of Valerie in the room.

"Where is Valerie?"

I drew my gaze away from her, scanning the room carefully for any trace of her.

My eyes narrowed and I tilted my head slightly. She might be in the bathroom, but I doubt Ellie would arrange this little show IF she was anywhere around.

Ellie got to my side, wrapping a hand over my neck, "I am sorry that I couldn't make it last night. I was so tired and..." Her hand went down my chest, running her fingertips on it.

"I am not in the mood, Ellie." I grabbed a hold of her hand, stopping her movement.

"You should put on a cloth. You aren't achieving anything with that stunt this time."

"Are you saying you don't find me attractive anymore, Lorenzo? I know it's been a while, but I can make you recall if you can't seem to recall the feel of my body...."

I was distracted by her hands, and I didn't know how they went lower until they were touching my dick.

"I bet you are craving for a little taste. You won't be disappointed, you never were."

I let out a breath, shaking my head slightly and I managed to hold her arms again, but she'd grabbed them midway, bringing them over to her boobs.

The moment I felt the softness of her boobs, she let out a moan, locking her other arm around me, and kissing her way up my neck.

She is irresistible and he finds it hard to resist her, but I grabbed her hips roughly toward me, "I won't ask you again, Ellie. Where. Is. Valerie?"

She let out a huff, this time knowing I wasn't in the mood for her antics.

"Seriously, Lorenzo?" Rolling her eyes, she walked back to the bed, grabbed a sheet, and wrapped it over her body.

That was more like it. I snickered inwardly. I shook my head at her and made my way to the bathroom.

Pushing the door open, forcefully, I scanned the entire place but she wasn't there.

Where could she have gone? My thoughts were going haywire as I wondered if she might have made a run of it.

That wouldn't be possible, not with the amount of security in the mansion alone. She wouldn't even get past the gates.

I might be overreacting, but I was suddenly worried. I shut the bathroom door and turned slowly, my gaze resting on Ellie.

Was she behind it? Did she do something? I shook my head. 'No...she wouldn't dare.' I thought, my brows furrowing.

Besides, what could she have done, anyway?

"What is it with you and this girl, Lorenzo? This isn't you."

"Then you simply do not know me, Ellie. I hate it when I am being taken for a fool." I warned.

"She was here. I left her in the room and all of a sudden., you are in here. Where is she?"

"How the hell am I supposed to know that, Lorenzo? I am not a fucking babysitter. The mating ceremony is around the corner and you barely have time to organize...and all you think and care about is Valerie!?"

She was a lost cause. I knew I wasn't getting any reasonable answers from her and I simply made my way to the door, heading out.

Was she hungry?

I walked over to the kitchen, noticing as the maids all scurried away or lowered their heads as they saw me approaching.

She wasn't there as well.

I was beginning to get pissed off.

'Valerie is missing. Where you at?' I mind linked to Kai who immediately responded.

"Val wasn't in the room but your sister, Ellie, was. I swear to the moon goddess, Kai, your sister is tugging at the last shred of my leniency. "

"What do you mean?" He asked.

I was making my way down the halls, opening up every door to see if she must have gone in by mistake. But no luck.

I heard footsteps as Kai came down the stairs, "Where is she?" He asked as soon as he saw me.

"Can you explain to me how she must have been able to get out of the room, unnoticed?"

He shook his head, "I... I really can't tell."

"Wait..." I snapped my head to him, sharply, "What about the cameras?"

Kai. shook his head, "It had been under maintenance for a week now. The security team is working...."

"Surely they must be done by now, wouldn't they?"

He shrugged, and before he could say a word, I made my way to my office. The CCTV, which has been under maintenance for a while now, was likely our best shot at finding exactly where she was at, unless of course, she had evaporated into thin air.

We got to the study in no time and I quickly went behind the desk and switched ON the computer.

A few minutes later I wasn't able to get the timeframe I was searching for.

Until I saw it.

And I felt every cell in me burst open in rage.
