Chapter 118 Mrs. Lockhart
AUDREY
With that he gently carries me down, knowing the ache between my thighs. He carefully sets me down, pulling my night gown all the way and letting it pool down to my feet. I stepped out of it, my nakedness meeting his sex hazed gaze.
"Shit" he hissed, a pained look on his face and his arousal clear in his dark jeans. "I can't believe all this is mine, fuck I'm so lucky"
He walks up to me, placing his hands under my thighs and I jump, making my boobs jiggle in his face.
"Prettier than a constellation. My beautiful fiance"
I giggle, my cheeks carrying a pink tinge.
"Thank you" I answer shyly, hiding my face into the crook of his neck.
His deep chuckle resonates, ricocheting off the walls and filling the air with the rich sound. "You have no idea how much I want to fuck you so hard against every piece of surface in this place. And by the goddess I will do just that" his voice held a dark promise, one that had me soaked with anticipation and want.
His hand fists my bare ass, kneading the skin seductively. "What if the whole castle hears?"
"Then they'll know I take good care of your needs and you're all mine. If the marks I leave on your neck aren't clear enough the sound of me pounding into you all night will be a constant reminder for them"
Call me a needy, sex monster but my core throbbed at the sound of that.

"I wonder what the celebration is about. All the members of the King's Court are attending then it must be something serious" Orchid thought aloud, bringing out dress after dress and laying them down to scrutinize every single one and decide which would look better.
I quietly smiled from where I sat knitting, watching Orchid and Greer compared knowledge on the kingdom's calendar and wonder what holiday the party could possibly be about.
Everyone had gone into a frenzy, Darius was determined to announce our engagement and date of marriage today. He was going to pull off sending invites and everything all in one day. I didn't know how but he was determined so I knew he would be able to pull it off. Few hours later and half of the preparations were completed. The maids were scrambling around, throwing up decorations and carpets at the entrance of the castle in preparation..
Most of the people in Darius's court as well as important Princes and Arch Dukes lived around so it wouldn't be hard to get them here but I worried for everyone's reactions. Most people assumed our relationship would break and we wouldn't pass the courting stage while others I was certain knew we would get married, the king had been waiting for his mate for centuries so they knew there was no way he wouldn't marry me. But there were people who despite knowing the circumstances surrounding our union they wait to demand with rude entitlement that we don't go further will our bond.
And it was those very people that I feared. Darius let me know time without number that we didn't need their approval but I thought of it differently. They were his people, all of them, even the ones so hellbent on keeping us apart. In their own little way they thought they were doing what was right for their realm, even if it meant going against their King's mate. I just needed to show them I would better their lives, rather than ruine it. I would vow to do my very best to leave a big positive impact on the kingdom in order to try soften the blow of the new decree.
I'll need to step up as queen, right beside my husband. No matter my fears, no matter how silly it sounded I'd make sure to protect him. No matter what.
"Hello my beautiful wife" I heard a deep husky voice- dark like chocolate warming up my insides echo in my mind and immediately the tingles erupted, crawling down my spine I knew the commander of the tone.
I tried to stop myself from smiling, resulting to biting my lip, "We're not wed yet" I answered back.
"The wedding is just formality, you are my wife Mrs. Lockhart. That ring on your beautiful little finger proves it. You're all mine" he spoke with such pride leaking off every word, the very finality and confidence in his tone making me blush. "Seems your ladies don't know yet" he speaks vaguely, making me stare back at the two females as they debated amongst themselves.
I fiddled with my ring, rolling the big rock to face inside my palms. "I kind of want to surprise them, surprise everyone. I just hope the reactions won't be sour" I sigh internally, my worry evident even in the mind link.
"You're worrying again love" he points out, making me sigh heavier.
"How can't I? There's so much at risk, our very announcement is in just a few hours. Those words that you will announce wil shake the balance of the kingdom" I state firmly. "It will divide the people into two halves, one side for us and the other against us. It will cause so much havoc. But I want you, I want to be with you" I pause, listening to my heart beat getting a lot calmer and I knew it was because of him.
"Come to our private garden love. I'll be waiting" was all he said before the mind link was cut off.
I could tell there was more to his words and I wouldn't need to wait long to find out.
I just needed to slip away without anyone getting too curious, I've been told I'm a bad liar.
Pushing myself off where I sat, placing my wool and needle in my drawer. Two pair of eyes meet mine, watching me with curiosity. The one thing I didn't need an extra dose of,
"I'll be back soon girls. I'm just going to meet up with Faye, I remembered she asked for me"
I kept it short and simple, knowing if I over explain then I'll jumble up my words and make a fool of myself.
"Okay, be back soon though and if you can try find out from Faye all you can about the mysterious party" Orchid nodded and I smiled, waving them goodbye before slipping out of the room.
