I’m finally free but I don’t know where I’m at right now. All I can see is a dark empty space that even a single sound can’t be heard.
I tried roaming around the place but it seems like an endless darkness and there’s no hope to escape. Is this the kidnappers’ second location? It gets a lot scarier because I have no idea of what is around me then. I tried to move my hand and it’s already free. I tried to remove my blindfold because it might be the reason why I can’t see anything right now but when my hands reached my face; there is nothing that covers my eyes.
Suddenly, I heard something that frightened me out. I may not be able to see it but I am sure that it is a growl of a tiger. Am I stuck in a forest? If so, why have I not touched a tree after roaming around the area? Where are the birds chirping? Why have I only heard a tiger growling?
The growl is getting louder as if the tiger’s approaching where I’m at. Because of me fearing an encounter with that tiger, I ran to escape.
I kept on running even though I have no idea as to where the tiger is and where I shall go since it’s completely dark in here. But then, I sighed in relief when I suddenly saw a light that I’ve been looking for a while now.
I ran as fast as I can to reach the light hoping to escape the tiger as I get there. True enough, the growling of the tiger stopped when I finally reached that area.
I’m finally feeling hopeful about my situation until I saw my surroundings. It was a total opposite of where I was a while ago. In here, you’ll see nothing but light. Even the floor that I am stepping on is white and it is as if I am inside a cloud.
I kept on walking with the hope of escaping this place but it’s like an endless light that I can’t escape.
Am I already in heaven? The thought of it scared me more than it made me happy. I’m still so young and I still have a bright future waiting for me so I can’t die just yet.
I can’t believe my thought about me dying so I kept on walking hoping that I’ll prove to myself that I am not yet dead. I can’t be! I haven’t said goodbye to my parents yet. I haven’t accomplished my dad’s challenge yet. I haven’t even had my first boyfriend yet!
The last thing that I can remember before being in this situation was that I was kidnapped. Heaven suddenly came in and the room was filled with gunshots that I don’t know where it came from. The exchange of gunshots kept on going on until I was shot on the side of my body.
I touched where I was shot and I felt no pain by doing so. It can’t be. I am so sure that I was shot so it is impossible that it’s no longer there.
Not unless I’m really dead by now.
If so, is this really how my life will end? Am I in heaven right now? But why am I alone? Where are the angels? Where are the waterfalls?
I have a lot of questions running through my mind right now but what’s really bothering me are the gangsters. Where are they now? I hope that they saved themselves from that encounter. I hope that I was the only one who died.
Feeling hopeless, I sat in my current location now. I accept it! This is an endless journey of me walking towards the light with no one to be with.
But is this how heaven truly feels like? Is this how sad it feels like? I expected for it to be happy where a lot of angels fly, people singing and dancing left and right, the sound of water calms your existence.... Basically, everything that this current place isn’t.
Is heaven just a symbolism for your own world after death? Nobody told you but in the afterlife, you’ll have to be alone. Is that how it should be?
This is just a dream!
I tried to convince myself that this isn’t real. I am just dreaming! I wish that this is just a dream.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, I heard a beat that is so deafening.

And another one
It was a never ending beating like a drum. The sound just won’t stop so I decided to search where it is coming from. I roamed around the area until I saw a very large heart beating so fast. You can see in every beat how a heart pumps that’s why I was amazed.
Due to my amazement, I tried to approach nearer the heart until I stepped onto something and the floor suddenly cracked which made me fall into a deeper level. I closed my eyes while falling because I know for sure how it will hurt but to my surprise, I felt no pain in me.
When I opened my eyes, I still saw a white ceiling like where I came from a while ago.
What is happening?
I thought that it was another place like what I saw a while ago until I finally heard someone spoke.
“He’s awake,” Fire softly said but still enough for me to hear it.
It was a dream! I knew it was!
