Congratulations!

The grand opening of the bakery was in full swing, with everyone helping. Nash called the doctor and made an appointment for us, which was in six weeks. Things were hectic between the craziness of the bakery and Nixon, along with Kat returning from their honeymoon. If I wasn't tired, I was sleeping. Did I mention a few other things popped up along the way with the pregnancy? I also was snippy, crazy, then Zen-like, food was delicious, and I found humor in things I never thought was possible. You would think I was carrying the brothers all at once. A Gray baby came with a lot more than I expected. Before my appointment, guess who else showed up pregnant? Yep, Kat found out she was expecting after she took a test. The four of us girls being pregnant were crazy. Macey was due in November, while Marcy was due in December. They both were having twins. It makes sense since both are twins, along with being married to twin brothers. Our appointment finally arrived, and we sat in the doctor's office. They called us back, and we went into a room. Nash helped me onto the table, and we waited. A few minutes later, the doctor came in and did his examination. It turns out I was eight weeks along. We figured out it must have happened the first night of our honeymoon. When Nash said he wanted kids, he didn't waste any time. Like they say they shoot, they score. "Okay, let's see what's going on," the doctor said as I laid down, and he lifted my shirt to reveal my belly. He placed this cold goop on me then placed a wand on my stomach as he moved it around. As he looked at the screen, he said, "Interesting." "What do you mean interesting?" Nash asked, concern. "Well, what I am picking up is there is one, two, three, and four babies." He pointed at the screen, and our jaws dropped. "Quads?" We both exclaimed in shock. "Looks that way," the doctor remarked as we stared at the monitor in shock. We looked at each other than the doctor moved it around more. "Hold up. One was hiding. Yep, there they are." He froze the screen. "Quints?" we yelled as we did a double-take. Who in the hell has five babies at once? We do. "From the looks of it, I would say so," the doctor mentioned. "How is that doctor? The most this family has ever had would be triplets," I said to him. He turned off the machine and then looked at me. "My guess is you dropped three eggs. Have you had any medical issues in the past?" He asked me, trying to understand why we were having so many babies at one time. "I got sick and went through an issue with the medication. The only medication I'm on is blood pressure medication," I explained to the doctor. "Well, that could explain it. Your reproductive system could have altered. It's not uncommon for things to change when you go through an experience like that," the doctor reasoned. I looked at Nash, and he looked at me. "Well, you wanted your five, and now you can get fixed." He sighed. That would teach him. The doctor gave us instructions. Since I was carrying so many, I needed to be careful. That meant I needed to take it easy and not overdo it. That is where the family would come in handy. We left the doctor's office, and I looked at Nash. "Five?" "Five," he responded. We're shocked, and not only that, but we also had to drop this little bombshell on the family. The big question was, how were we going to handle five little ones on top of running a business? "Hey, it will be okay," Nash reassured me. "Nash, we will need a lot of help," I said to him, worried. "Then help we will get. I have a feeling; we have six people willing to help us," he smiled. I looked at him. What did he have planned? We gathered everyone to tell them the news, and boy did we tell them. "Five?" Nate exclaimed. "Man, brother, when you shoot, you shoot. Who knew you had it in you?" Nixon smirked, earning an annoyed look from Nash. "Okay, twins, we can understand because, well, you know we're twins and all," Nathan said to us as he motioned between him and Noah along with Macey and Marcy, "but where the hell did five come from?" "The doctor said with everything that Mags had been through the medication had altered her reproductive system. They're figuring three eggs dropped, making two sets identical twins and one single," Nash explained to them. "I wonder what they will look like?" Noah asked us. "Well, they will not be animals, but then again, they do have those two as parents," Nixon remarked while pointing at us. That's a reassuring thought. Nash looked at him. "Look, with Mags' blood pressure, the doctor's concerned it could jeopardize the babies. Then we have the bakery to worry about." "Son, what is it that you're asking?" Nate asked him. "I was wondering if we could get some help until the babies are here?" He asked them. I didn't want to have our dream screwed up. I also didn't want to lose any of our family either. These babies were a piece of Nash and me. The boys looked at each other. With little ones on the way and Nolan going back to school, there was no way they could help us. Then Pat suggested her own. "How about I make a phone call?" Nate looked at her. "Are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting?" "Well, we know I married a smart man," she said, patting his cheek. She made a call. We sat there and waited until there was a knock at the door. Nate answered it to find Jonas and Cayson along with their wives. "Did someone call and said they needed help?" Jonas asked us. Nate looked at his brothers. "I figure they would tie you up with your grandbaby and," he looked at Cayson, "isn't Caleb expecting as well?" "Yeah, so?" Cayson shrugged. "So, aren't you going to be busy?" Nate questioned him. "No, the boys are going back to school in the fall," he answered Nate. "Yeah, and Jace and Jaime are moving back there. Jace is moving because Andi is going to school, and Jaime wants to be close to his big brother," Jonas mentioned. "Which frees us up to help?" Dominique added. "What about dad?" Nate asked them. "What about him?" Jonas asked. "Well, someone needs to keep an eye on the plant," Nate countered. "See, and therefore, you have no managerial skills. We already talked to Dad on our way over. He said he had someone in mind to run the place until frick and frack have their young-Ins," Cayson said, thumbing at us. "Like who?" He asked them with a questionable look. "Bucky," Cayson answered. "Bucky? That guy can't get his head out of his ass long enough to manage himself, let alone a manufacturing plant! No freaking way! I'm calling Dad!" Nate stormed off, as Cayson mentioned, "That was fun." "So, Bucky isn't in charge?" Nash asked him. "Hell no, Bucky is the last person we would ever put in charge. Miller will run things," Cayson explained. Nate returned a few minutes later and said, "Real cute." He rolled his eyes at Cayson as Cayson snickered. "Not my fault, you're gullible," Cayson shrugged. "Okay, fine, but you get to wait on people," Nate ordered him. "Fine by me." He shrugged. We watched as they discussed who was doing what and when I even remotely mention doing anything. I was met by looks promptly. I could oversee things, but as far as doing anything, a big fat no met that. They even enlisted my brother to help since Jasper was busy at the hospital. Why did I have a feeling this would be pure chaos?
