Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Nash Gray
While we waited for them to clear the chairs, placing the tables and chairs for the reception, we had pictures done. Lucille and Grayson got one with their sons, then with the wives. Each family had a family picture taken. Then the groomsmen had pictures taken with the groom, then with the bridesmaids, then me and the bridesmaids. Nate and Pat took a picture with me. Then Nash and I. Lucille and Grayson had one with everyone except us girls. Finally, we had one large image with everyone in it. They finally got everything set up, and we all took our seats. Now was the time for the maid of honor and best man speech. Kat went first. "I would like everyone's attention. Thank you. I have known Maggie since grade school. We have best friends throughout these years, and let me tell you; it wasn't easy." People laughed. "I watched her moon over a tool when she should have been mooning over a stud like Nash." "Kat," Nixon yelled. "Oh hush, your brother is hot," she remarked as Nixon rolled his eyes. "She also introduced me to my future husband, and for that, I am so grateful. To Maggie and Nash," she toasted us while raising her glass. Next was Nixon. "Okay, my lovely fiancée gave a good speech, but I can top her. Anyway, my twit of a brother spent years mooning over this one and let me tell you, do you have any idea what it was like to hear him in his bedroom at night?" He asked everyone. "Nix!" Nash exclaimed. "Dude, we all know what you and Rosie were doing in there," he implied as Nash shot him a glare. We all looked at Nixon with mouths agape as he continued, "Then ma decided, hey, why not get them together because we all know ma is the mini version of Grammy." I looked at Pat as she shrugged. "Anyway, seriously, Maggie, I'm glad you became my sister even though I used to push you down a lot as a kid. What can I say, I was an ass?" Nixon admitted. "You still are," Nathan countered as everyone laughed. Nixon rolled his eyes and toasted, "To Nash and Maggie!" We finally got to eat. Thank god I was starving. We ate, then it was time for our first dance. Nash led me out onto the dance floor and took me in his arms. We started dancing as everyone watched. "I love you, Wifey," he commented to me. "I love you more, hubby," I replied as we danced. "I love the sound of that." He smiled, and I returned a bigger grin. We glided all over the dance floor, and just being in his arms like this was amazing. While we had our first dance, Pat looked at Nate. "I think we should have a conversation with our boys." "I believe you are right, Patty," he smirked. After we finished our dance, others joined until at some point Nash and I were talking to his brothers. Nate and Pat walked up to us. "Hey ma, hey dad," Nash greeted them. "Hey boys and daughter," Nate said to us. "It seems we have a slight matter to discuss with all of you." We all looked at Nate and Pat curiously. "So, how long did you all think you could hide Nash and Maggie already married?" He asked us. "I told you they would find out," Nolan said to us. "Those two are better than the NSA." "How did you know?" Noah asked. Nate looked at him. "Seriously? I think the fact Maggie didn't care what happened with the wedding preparations gave it away." "Now, why did you all keep this from us?" Pat asked us. "Because the Gray brothers and I have been through so much together. We thought, why not do something as important as getting married," I reasoned. I walked up to them. "Your sons have been a big part of my life. It was something special I wanted to share with them. I'm sorry you weren't there but sometimes had that one special moment with the guys that mean a lot to you." "Maggie, we aren't mad," she said to me. "You're not?" I looked at her, surprised. "No, in fact, I'm glad you could share something like this with them. You six have an extraordinary bond. Even I knew that." Pat said to me then hugged me, as did Nate. Sometimes you have to have a special moment with the brothers. "Okay, boys, it's time," Nate reminded them as they followed him to the dance floor. Pat and I followed behind. From there, we watch all the Gray boys starting with Grayson to Nolan get into formation. Then the music started. The guys began dancing as the girls looked on. As they moved around, Nate looked at Nash. "Take the lead." Nash moved to the front, and they all followed his lead. We watched as they all step, clap, and did a flip. I loved watching them all dance. I moved into my dress as the guys danced. They blew away the other girls to watch them in action. Next, it was our turn. All the Gray women went out onto the dance floor except Andi. The doctor hadn't cleared her yet. They started the music, and we started dancing. Pat said to me, "Maggie, take the lead." I moved to the front as we all danced, while the guys looked on and danced in their place. I danced over to Nash and did a hip movement, and he leaned back. Then he followed me onto the floor, and we hopped into formation as the guys joined their women. We led them all. We had so much fun. Nash picked me up and slid me over his back. I landed on my feet as we ended up face to face. We danced together as did everyone else. Then everyone else joined all of us on the dance floor. We all had a good time. Finally, it was time to cut the cake. We picked up a piece to feed it to each other. "How much you want to bet they smash it into each other's face?" Nathan asked Noah. "Oh, hell yeah," he remarked. On the count of three, Nash and I smashed cake into each other's face. "Some things will never change with those two," Nate said to Pat. "Nope, and I'm glad," she smiled. Nash and I laughed, then he pulled me into a kiss. It's the little things with us. We got cleaned up and made our rounds with everyone. "Kate? What are you doing here?" I asked her when we saw her. "Maggie, you are a beautiful bride. I wouldn't miss your wedding for the world. Here, I have a wedding gift for you and Nash," she said, handing me a Manila envelope. I took it and opened it. Inside was a blueprint of a building along with a deed. Nashville and Margaret Gray, owners of The Gray Brother's Bakery Nash and I looked at her in shock. "Congratulations, you two," she congratulated as she winked while walking away. Nash and I looked at each other, stunned. "Thanks for killing my masterpiece," we heard someone huff. "I worked my fingers to the bone on that!" We looked to see Frazier and a woman who was pregnant. "Oh honey, get used to your cakes getting destroyed," she giggled. "Not helping wife," he grumbled. "If it makes you feel any better, it was delicious," I reassured him. He gave me a look. "No, it doesn't. I will find Kate." He walked off with his wife in tow. Nash and I laughed. We finally had time to say goodbye to the brothers before taking off. "Well, I guess this is it," Nash said to them. "What are you talking about, Nash? You're going away for a week," Nixon told him. "Yeah, but when we get back, we are moving into our place," Nash reminded him. "Oh, please Nash, we might end up living in different places, but we're all going to be close by," Nathan commented. Nash rolled his eyes and looked at them. "Plus, you can't forget Nixon is getting married when you get back," Noah reminded us. "Oh, yeah," he mentioned. "Oh, yeah? You're my freaking best man, you twit!" Nixon huffed. I couldn't help but laugh as they bickered. We may have gotten married, but I doubt we would be far from each other. Are you kidding me? These brothers will never stray far from each other. We said our goodbyes to them, then to Nate and Pat and everyone else until finally, we came across Grammy and Grayson. Nash went to hug her, but she smacks him upside the head, then she slapped me. "Ow, Grammy!" We both exclaimed while rubbing our heads. "I already took care of your brothers and cousins. Did you honestly think you could get away with getting married before today?" She asked us with a glare. Nash and I looked at each other as she said, "Now, go have fun and come back pregnant." She smirked, and our mouths dropped open as she and Grayson walked away laughing. We left the reception and made our way to the limo. We climbed inside, and the driver fled. Nash pulled me to him and kissed me. "I love you, Mrs. Gray." "I love you, Mr. Gray." With that, we were on our way to our honeymoon. I couldn't wait.
