She is with me

Gabriel held her by the arm and pulled her closer to himself, his grip wasn’t causing Clarissa pain but it was strong and firm.

Clarissa was low-key enjoying the drama, who was better? She wondered, although deep down she wanted these guys to actually teach Gabriel a lesson, her mind drifted as she thought of how to get into the bus while the fight was ongoing, she continued to stare.

She couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious, she wanted to see what Gabriel would actually do.

“Allow us leave and nobody gets hurt” he said as he did not release his grip.

“Mister, the lady doesn’t want to go with you, she already made it clear why then are you trying to take her along forcefully?” one of the boys asked

“I don’t see how that’s your business, you were also planning on taking her forcefully as well, then why can’t I?”

“But you said she was a stranger right?”

“Yeah, that’s what I said but I can’t just drive all the way here and go back empty-handed” he voiced before glancing over to Clarissa with a smile and a wink.

This man standing beside her was the reason for everything but something about the situation made her glad as she stared at everyone waiting to see the next move.

Gabriel’s personality was a very intriguing one and she knew it but his sudden serious appearance was something to be spoken about.

She glanced at her watch 7:45 a.m. “Shit!” She said.

Clarissa had to submit Issei’s assignment before 8:30 but she was nowhere near school and this drama was also far from over.

“How about we do this, none of you get to keep me and allow me go my way or you both fight each other and let me go, that’s also great because neither of you deserve to be with me.” She said looking at the boys, knowing fully well that her words were going to provoke them more.

“What are you talking about? You want us to fight over you?” Gabriel asked as he turned towards Clarissa not knowing what her plan was.

“Why not? I do not want to go with either of you so it would be better you fight amongst yourself and don’t include me in your drama” she spoke as she grabbed her bag tightly which gave Gabriel a hint that she was about to run causing him to tighten his grip on her.

“Let go” Clarissa whispered in between her teeth, but Gabriel didn’t utter a word, he just smiled. She tried removing her hands from his grip but he didn’t want to let her go.

“We don’t have time for any of this” One of the boys said as he began to move closer to them.

“Hold on, How about we talk about things first like mature adults, maybe then we can come up with a solution for the problem we have now” Gabriel said as he was back to his smiley self.

“I have a better solution” the main boy from earlier said as he grabbed her by the arm trying his best so he could pull her away from Gabriel but immediately he received a kick from which caused him to let go as he fell backwards and unto the ground.

“I warned you” he said as his smile disappeared and his serious face was back.

He knew the rest of the gang would attack him back, he immediately pulled Clarissa behind him pushing her back into the little corner where they had hidden before but due to the force he used Clarissa had fallen on the floor, she could hear the sound of people fighting as well as groaning from right outside. She couldn’t see a thing from where she fell.

As she struggled to get up, she felt pain as her hands had scraped the rough surface of the ground, she needed to be outside to help Gabriel as he couldn’t fight the boys alone, they would tear him into little piece and then chew him up. She successfully got up and walked outside towards where the fight was taking place.

“ you all should leav…….” Her words were cut off, the fight had ended but everybody was on the floor except Gabriel.

He was the only one standing and the others were in a pretty bad condition.

“How did you do all of this” she asked amazed as she watched the men on the floor whining in pain.

“Well I learnt judo and other martial arts so I can fight pretty well” he said with a smile returning to his face.

“No, no, you can’t….. you can’t have been able to fight them all by yourself. These people are not ordinary” she whispered in confusion, if they were wolves then they would have torn him apart but it was the other way round.

“What do you mean by they are not ordinary?” He asked raising an eyebrow waiting for her answer

“Nothing” she said still a bit suspicious, if he actually fought them then he would have been hurt but he wasn’t and that only meant one thing, that he was also a wolf and maybe a higher rank.

“Well your Highness may we go now, I drove all the way here to bring you back. Can you acknowledge that fact, let’s go and besides I saved you again, the second time – am I still not going to get a thank you.”

“Fine, since you crave it that much, thank you” she said but still not convinced that he had fought wolves with just his bare hands.

“Fair enough, can we go now?” Gabriel asked.

“Whoever said I was going with you, I’m taking the bus” she said as she walked away.

“You can’t be serious, I just came all the way here to rescue you and you aren’t going with me?”

“I already thanked you, why force me to go with you.” Gabriel immediately held her hand dragging her along as he ran.

“Let go of me’’ she cried while struggling to free herself but she was unsuccessful.

“This is kidnapping….. let me go!.” They ran towards where he parked his car, he opened his car door still holding her hand and pulled her in before he got in and started the engine.

“ I said I don’t want to go with you” she said hitting him.

“Stop it, are you injured?” He asked as his shirt where she hit him was covered in blood. His words made her conscious of her bleeding hands.

“ It’s all you fault, you were the one who pushed me and now I’m injured, thank you so much, you know a lot has happened and it’s all because of you” she pointed out.

“ I’m sorry, I only wanted to get you out of the way so you won’t get hurt”. He tried to explain his intention.

“but I did either way, now you still don’t want to let me go” She voiced before turning to the window.

“ I’m going to leave you once we’re back and you get that treated only then would I leave, for now you’re stuck with me.” He voiced before driving off.
