CHAPTER FIVE – At the beginning
Let’s go back to time to what happened before the boys were born, how they became this way.
It was a sunny day an mr. ben was at his lab like always but this time it was different, Mr. ben got a contract with a huge company that develops cure for all kinds of disease.
The contract was for mr. ben to develop a serum that could multiply and change the structure of the human cell, a serum that can cure the sickle cell genetic problem. Mr. ben on a normal day would turn down any offer a company has to offer him but this was different. Mr. ben genetic cell had that problem, he was A. S and so was his wife mrs. ben they didn’t try to have any child because they knew if they tried to the child would have to go through pain which could eventually lead to death, The company also provide enough funds for him to do his research so they saw this as an opportunity to try their luck and if it worked out, not just would they be able to have their own children but millions of A. S or S. S couples would be able to cure this sad problem and the sickle cell problem can actually end.
So mr. ben thought it was worth a shot and tried it, and after three months of research he finally found something that could actually serve as a cure so it was put to test on a volunteer (A young boy around eight years) and it was put to test on him. At first it looked like it worked, the boy felt a little energetic until he started screaming of pain an autopsy was performed on him and they found out instead of his cell structure to change instead they began growing bigger and kept gathering energy and just then boy body began to mutate as a result of over cell-enlargement and started changing to a monstrous thing until he finally gave up the ghost and lumps of flesh came out of all parts of his body as a result. The sight was unbearable to see and the contract was cancelled and had lost his chance of getting a happy family
The whole experiment was put to an end and the government had made sure mr. ben will be jailed if any case like this came up again they were sad and grumpy that they had lost their only chance in making their family an actual family. Mr. ben had gone to his lab to clear everything that had to do with the experiment as it turned out to be a failure, but on getting to the lab he found out that it all had been a mistake he had used the wrong element for the finally which caused a complication but at this point he couldn’t retry the contract and matters became worst when he found out his wife was pregnant and they had no choice to go with the risky plan.
“I pray this works” Mrs. ben said as she lays her head on mr. ben chest
“Don’t worry it will, let’s just have more faith” Mr. ben replied as he pats her back
The next day
“Good morning honey” Mrs. ben said with a smile as she bumps into mr. ben oh her way to tell him breakfast is ready
“Good morning my dear” Mr. ben replied as he hugs her but at that moment mrs. ben had suddenly rushed to the toilet to vomit as she felt something coming through her throat but they overlooked it as they thought it was normal symptoms of pregnancy
“Honey I feel hungry” Mrs. ben said as she rubs her tummy
“Well that’s weird, we just finished eating” Mr. ben replied as he goes to the chicken store to get mrs. ben some chicken wings
“Woah, woah woah, how finis that so fast it’s amazing “Mr. ben said with amazement
“I Don’t know and I’m still hungry mrs. ben said as she goes to the kitchen get some snacks”
“Oh and I also got a notice that our power bill has sky rocket” Mrs. ben said as she eats a cereal for energy
“Well that’s weird I didn’t perform any abnormal experiments and we haven’t used the house heater in a while, or could this be symptoms of the serum” Mr. ben replied as he begins to think deeply
“Don’t be silly honey what does that got to do with our power bill, but I admit it does fell abnormal, getting hungry like this and I also noticed my tab battery drops like hell when I am using it” Mrs. ben replied as she takes another snack
“Could it be reaction of rapid growth” Mr. ben replied
3days after the usage of the serum like a miracle mrs. ben was due for child birth, it was shocking to the doctor (Mr. Ray) mrs. ben and her husband. They had to keep it a secret, as if there were any paranormal activities concerning mr. ben he would be jailed.
The child birth was successful without any problem but they couldn’t determine the blood group or genotype as the structure of his cells were unknown and so was genetic cells. A lot of energy was absorbed the birth at the birth that half of the town was out of power for about five minutes.
A year after the same thing occurred but this time it took 2 days and a week and mrs. ben had eaten food worth of three months also the power outage was all over town this time and lasted for about ten minutes.
This was how Mrs. and mr. ben miraculously got max and tom, they had to move out of town after this to make sure to make sure nobody finds out about what happened and to finally be able to have a happy family they had always dreamed of and it worked out perfectly.
