Chapter 80: Lilith P.O.V.
Elaine was the first one to leave and I waited just like the guard had instructed me too. He told me to wait five minutes and then he would knock on the door signaling me to wait by the bed and then he would open the door and walk me down to where my mates were. I was really second guessing the green high heels that I had picked out, they weren’t just heels. The actual heel was so thin that I swore it could break under me and then I would plummet down the stairs and die.
“Excuse me sir, can I use your arm to maintain balance?” I asked as nicely as I could, but he just nodded. Only pissing me off more. I was supposed to be the future Luna of the pack and he couldn’t even show me the decency of a verbal response?
We made it all the way down the stairs and past the kitchen where I could smell the deliciousness of sweet fruits and baked treats and then I saw the beauty of the backyard. Then, there was them.
Each one of them must have had a similar idea because they all looked dashing in completely different way and it pissed me off. My wolf was both prancing in delight and ready to rip their throats out, “Control reaper.” I whispered to my wolf. Elaine was right though, if they were going to use every single possible advantage against me then I would have to be just as dirty and just as clever.
I kissed each one of them on the cheek and gave them each a different pet name on the spot. I’ll have to make a mental note about how much they liked that on a different day and walked over to the chairs.
“Do I have to pull out my own chairs or will someone help me?” I sighed, rolling my eyes and waiting for a second. It wasn’t even a second because I felt the wind blow in my hair and Sebastian ended up benign the one that helped me get situated in the chair.
Game on, boys.
That’s the first thing I thought as the three of them eyes me up and down. I made sure to pull away from the table far enough that when I crossed my left leg over my right they could see my thigh. I know it worked because they each gulped and they looked up at the ceiling while they tried to ignore it.
I took a drink of the water and smiled at them, “I wanted to talk to the three of you about the repercussions of yesterday.” I said as calmly as I could while looking at Troy. He was the Alpha after all if there was anybody that had a direct say in what happens with the pack I would like to think that it would be him.
They looked like a wolf caught in the headlights, there eyes turned as wide as saucers and slight beads of sweat formed above their eyebrows, “ Relax, what happened is done and I want to debate what is and isn’t going to be allowed going forward.” I sighed, looking over at one of the woman in the kitchen and waving her over.
Like I expected, she raced over to me, “Yes?” She asked as sweetly and nervously as I think possible.
“Can I please have a warm tea?” I asked her. She nodded eagerly and raced over to the staff that had prepared lots of food. I’m going to assume that the boys had requested it.
Like I thought though, Troy was the first one to speak up, ‘What kind of rules did you want to be put in place?’ he asked, trying to break my thoughts out into the world with a glance. Sorry, Alpha not going to happen.
“You will not touch me unless I tell you that it’s okay for starters.” I said glaring at him with the tiniest bit of hatred before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath to calm myself.
“Okay, that’s reasonable.” Troy nodded, looking at my other two mates who also nodded. I could feel the guilt eating at them across from the table.
“Secondly, I want a room on the floor with the three of you. No more tower of doom.” I said, putting up another finger signaling my second request. They all nodded again and I felt so much more in control.
“If you can agree to treat me with respect then I would like to throw a mating party in honor of us.” I smiled, my cheeks heating up with a small blush. Even though this was all a lie I still felt excited about the idea of being seen with my mates in public.
“You mean it?” Sebastian asked, looking up at me while he tried to figure out if everything I just said was real.
“As long as last night never happens again.” I said smiling while a tear fell down my cheek before I wiped it away.
“We promise.” Troy said, nodding his head at me like he thought I truly could just forgive them that quickly.
“Okay, then. I was hoping that Elaine and I could start planning for the party and maybe shopping after our lunch. If that’s okay?” I asked a little nervous.
“Only the best for my Luna.” Troy smirked, giving me a shiny black card before signaling the kitchen staff over to the table.
“So, we weren’t sure how you would feel about food, so we had the cook make you a feel different smoothies but also if you want anything all you have to do is ask.” reynolds rambled. He must be really nervous. I know that with his position he is supposed to be the best warrior in the pack and even he is nervous right now. I slid the card in the tightest part of my dress on my chest and then looked at my options. A smoothies really was the best idea, “Thank you they look wonderful.” I smiled looking at Reynolds. They needed to believe that everything that I am doing is for the well being of the pack.
I had the cook bring a strawberry shake and a straw while I slowly ate some type of croissant with a chocolate glaze over it, “So, if I have your approval and given our color choices. I was thinking the party could be done in green and gold?” I asked, trying to figure out if that was the right thing to ask.
Troy smirked and then nodded while he took another slice of his pancakes, “Sounds perfect already.”
“I’ll have your body guard from the ‘dooms day tower’ follow you and Elaine around the city for safety, okay?” he asked, but it wasn’t really a question. I nodded my head and the rest of the breakfast was spent with me asking random things that I could have cared less about.
