Chapter 101
I can't believe the day is finally here, the day I become Mrs. Stone. I won't lie, I am happy that all the planning is finally done. I can't wait to finally become his wife. We decided not to have the wedding in Alaska with me being pregnant we didn't want to travel. So, we are going to have it at our house. I can't believe how beautiful everything looks.
As I am forcing myself to get out of bed, it is time to get ready. I hear a knock at my door, not sure who it is. I cover myself and get out of my bed to open the door once I open it; I see it is Jill.
“Are you ready to get ready for your big day?”
“Yes, I'm so glad it's finally here I can't believe that I will be Mrs. Stone in just a couple of hours.”
“It's about time I'm so happy for you and Derek you to make each other so happy.”
“Thank you so much Jill do you know if my parents arrived yet.”
“No, I haven't seen them why don't you get a showered, and I will go look for them.”
“Ok I will get showered thank you so much Jill I really appreciate everything you do for me.”
As I go into to the bathroom to get showered I stop “Jill, where is Faithlyn?”
“She was still sleeping when I checked on her last I will check on her again before I come back up to your room.”
“It is quite early she enjoys sleeping in.”
I walk into the bathroom as Jill walks out looking in the mirror I smile excited for our lives to begin. I turn the water on to let it warm as I get undressed, I check to make sure the water is warm before I go to get in. The Water feels so good just relaxing my entire body, yes loving every second of it. I began to wash myself, knowing I need to get moving to get ready for my big day. I go to bet out of the shower and grab my towel and dry myself as I am getting out of the shower. Next thing I know the bathroom door swings open I jump back, but then I see Betty tears start to fill my eyes I'm so excited to see her it has been so long since I have seen her.
Oh my god Betty “you scared the shit out of me” I run up to her doing a happy dance and giving her a big hug I missed her so much knowing she truly was the only person who really cared about that wasn't being paid to be my friend I'm so overjoyed seeing her. I don't want to mention what all that has happened to bring up the past. I don't want to ruin the moment I am just so happy to see her it has been so long I can't believe she is her. I mean, I invited her, but I was unsure if she would come but super excited that she came.
“Oh my god Betty, it has been so long since I have seen you So nice to see you look so great.”
“Oh Amelia it is so great to see you too you have grown so much, and you are so beautiful I can't believe that you were getting married to him.”
I want to ask her what she means by that, but I don't want issues, so I ignore what she just said I smile “yes I'm getting married wow right I'm so excited to be Mrs Stone I love him so much.”
“I can't believe that you can still love this man who has done so many horrible things to you, but I'm happy for you if you are happy truly.”
“Yes Betty I am truly happy I want to marry Derek I love him and I love our family.”
“I'm happy that you want to marry him I was so afraid that he was going to be forcing this upon you, I'm happy this is your choice.”
“I know that Derek has done some bad things in the past, but we left all that behind us, we are looking forward to our future together. I also have done bad things and so has he, but we love each other and that's all that matters.”
“Oh Amelia, it is just so great to finally see you again I missed you so much no How is Faithlyn. “
“She gets bigger everyday she is growing so fast I can't believe it, and now that she's going to be a big sister Everything has just been great. “
“A big sister oh my god Amelia, are you pregnant again? “
“Yes I am I was pretty surprised by the news too But we are going to have another baby We are so excited that's why I moved up the wedding, so I could fit into a dress without looking like a balloon.”
“Oh Amelia, I think you would look beautiful no matter what size you were Pregnant bellies are beautiful.”
“Amelia if you would like for her to come with you that's fine more the girls more the better.” she giggles
As we head out of my bedroom to go to wherever the hairdresser is I'm nervous I was so excited about this day, but now I'm nervous what is wrong with me, I can't believe this. In just a couple of hours I'm going to be Amelia Lynn Stone I can't believe it. It's been a full day since Derek and I have not been together, which is sort of crazy because we're never apart it was so weird sleeping without him in our bed, but he wanted to follow all the traditions, so we did.
As I am getting pampered, I can't lie I'm enjoying it a lot having people at my hand and foot making me look beautiful it is amazing I never have had this before. So, I'm just lying back enjoying every second of it knowing that soon it will be over. I loving the way he is making me look wondering if maybe the hairdresser would be able to give me some tips on how to do my own hair in the future it is starting to look fantastic. Then I would be able to do my own hair instead of looking so plan all the time, which I know that Derek doesn't mind, but surprises are always nice. I think it would be nice to make myself feel beautiful.
As I look into the mirror, I'm wondering who is looking back at me. I am so different from the person who I was before. I know that I have changed so much, not just my looks but the person I become. I'm so lost in thought, I don't hear all the talk that is going on between all the women.
As Jill is shaking my shoulder trying to get my attention I snap out of it “Amelia, what do you think?”
As my brown hair is up in a bun like style with bouncing curls all throughout with what looks to be like white baby breaths flowers. I smile as I hold tears back, never seeing myself look so beautiful. “I love it thank you so much I have never seen myself look so beautiful.”
I look at Jill “I can't believe that this day is finally here.”
“Well it is you need to gather yourself the wedding is about to start.”
“Where is Faithlyn I would like to see her in her dress before you and her walk down the aisle?”
“I will go get her then we will get this show on the road.”
I can't believe the time is finally here, and I am going to be Mrs Stone it's going to be official then nobody can tear apart I love him so much, and I know he loves me just as much. I wait for Jill to come back when I see my sweet girl I'm ready for it all I give her a kiss, and we walk down to where the wedding is being held. I hand Faithlyn off to Jill since she is assisting with her flower girl duties I can't believe how beautiful they both look as I watch them both going down the aisle my father approached me.
“Are you ready to go bear you look so beautiful I'm so proud of you I love you so much bear?”
“Thank you daddy I love you too I'm ready, let's do this.”
As we began walking down the aisle and my eyes meet Derek's my heart skips a beat. Knowing that he is going to be mine and no one else until death do us part. Not noticing the crowd just staying focused on him is what is keeping me calm. Once we reach Derek, my father gives me to him. Derek's touch instantly making me react to him not listening to anything around us, just looking into Derek's eyes getting lost. I'm so memorized in him, he just consumes me. Knowing that there is nothing holding us from being together now.
“Do you Amelia take Derek to be your lawfully husband to honor to have to hold no matter what until death to you apart.”
“I do.”
“Do you Derek take Amelia to be your lawfully wife to honor to have to hold no matter what until death to you apart.”
“I do.”
“By the power invested in me, I pronounce you Husband and wife you may kiss your bride.”
Derek plants his lips on to mine, loving the way he makes me feel. Knowing that we can finally start our lives together. He sends shivers going through my body god how I love this man.
He whispers in my ear, “I love you Mrs Stone.
I smile and whisper in his ear, “I love you more.”
