Uncomfortable!
Jennifer Johnson woke up feeling like she had been hit by a truck. She instinctively turned onto her side.
Suddenly, a stern and handsome face loomed into view.
Jennifer caught her breath from the shock!
After a brief moment where her mind went blank, the memories flooded back.
The night before, she had been drugged at the graduation party, and in her attempt to flee, she found herself stumbling into this man's room.
At this moment, the man was still asleep.
Gritting her teeth against the pain, Jennifer carefully slid out of the bed. Surveying the mess on the floor—her clothes torn to shreds—she had no choice but to put on the man's white shirt she found and quietly leave.
Shortly after Jennifer left the hotel, Steve Wright awoke to find the person by his side long gone.
The disarray of the room, along with the small red stain on the sheets, were the only evidence of a woman having been there the previous night.
He squinted his eyes.
An accident five years ago had left him with a severe allergy to women. No woman could get close without causing him to break out in a rash. More importantly, he had been unable to carry on his family's lineage.
Yet, the woman from last night was an inexplicable miracle.
Without hesitation, Steve grabbed his phone and called his assistant, "Get over here now."
Soon after, his assistant James arrived in the suite.
"Check the surveillance. I want the woman who came to my room," Steve ordered after dressing himself.
"A woman?"
"What's wrong? Is there a problem?" Steve's tone dropped a degree colder.
James was momentarily stunned; he remembered that his boss was allergic to women. Spending three years overseas for treatment had not helped. So why was he all of a sudden looking for a woman?
Without room for doubt in the presence of his boss, James was about to execute the order when Steve’s chilly voice added, "And schedule a meeting in my office with Mr. Williams."
Jennifer arrived back at Fairview around nine in the morning.
Looking at the gardeners tidying up the yard, she paused.
Her absence all night would inevitably stir up gossip.
As she hesitated over whether to avoid being seen, the butler approached her.
“Ma’am, you’re back?”
“Yes.”
At that moment, the butler noticed something off about Jennifer Johnson's attire. "Ma'am, your clothes?" he inquired with a subtle note of concern.
Casually tugging at the men's dress shirt she adorned, Jennifer Johnson beamed, "It's a new purchase. Looks great, doesn't it?"
As long as she didn't show any signs of weakness, the butler dared not express any doubts.
Though the shirt was loose, its hem reached just to the roots of Jennifer's thighs, revealing a pair of legs that appeared both slender and straight.
Acknowledging without further commentary, the butler simply responded and refrained from prying.
Jennifer straightened her back and walked towards the stairs leading to the second floor of the house.
The butler cast a glance at the receding figure of Jennifer Johnson as she disappeared into her room. Then, he turned to slip away into an unoccupied corner.
Within the sanctuary of her bathroom, Jennifer submerged herself completely in the bathtub, seeking solace for her aching body.
Eyes closed, she recalled the infuriating events of the previous night, "Absolutely livid!" she thought.
Fiercely, she vowed to find whoever had drugged her and make them pay.
Considering last night's events, Jennifer knew she couldn't let the situation escalate.
Her absentee husband of three years was due back from abroad in just a few days.
The repercussions of the Johnsons learning she had been cuckolded were unfathomable.
As Jennifer wrestled with her troubles, a knock echoed from the door. "Ma'am?"
"What is it?" Jennifer composed herself before calling out.
"Mr. Wright," the butler stated.
"Is he back?" she tensed at the thought.
Already?
